Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Amberg-Sulzbach

We had super nice days in the house wonderfully located on the edge of the forest. Door open and you are right in nature. Beautiful view from the house. We didn't miss anything in the cottage, even towels and cosmetics were available. The owners were super friendly and the communication perfect. It was unforgettable days for us.

I spent my birthday weekend with 7 other friends in Miriam's holiday home in January. After a pleasant and uncomplicated advance communication via chat, Miriam welcomed us in a totally friendly manner, although our arrival time has been delayed several times. The house was cozy, cute decorated with small decor elements and super clean. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, there were drinks almost at cost and firewood for the fireplace is abundant. Despite the rather muddy-grey weather, we had a totally beautiful weekend with Crimea game, lasagne and one or the other beer ;). In summer, the house is also well suited for families with kids. We will be happy to come back!

The house was as described and was a truly incredible place to stay. We were looking through one of the books in his library and found 2 pages about this very house and how much work and effort was put into the refurbishment. The house is walking distance to bakeries, grocery stores and other conveniences. There is no parking at the house but it is a very short walk to the public lot that was empty. We stayed over Christmas and the owner had a small Christmas decoration we used as a Christmas tree. If future guests are interested to stay over Christmas it is important to stock up on food and supplies as everything closes down early on the 24th or even the 23rd as expected. We had a small amount of snow and it was about 2 C outside so it was chilly. There are multiple fireplaces that are intimidating but simple once you try. Finally, the house has very steep shallow stairs that we all slipped on once or twice. however there is a gate to keep kids safe! We recommend 100%

Jurgen & Judith’s place was amazing in every way. They have thoughtfully prepared each detail and are attentive hosts for the entire stay. The place was so cozy and welcoming, and was a perfect spot for us to celebrate Christmas as a family of 7. Judith helped with many recommendations and local ideas, as well as many thoughtful touches to make us feel right at home. this family obviously takes pride in providing an excellent place to stay, and they definitely succeed. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a warm and friendly place to stay near some gorgeous, walkable German forests.

The accommodation is beautiful, is nicely quiet and well equipped (especially the fireplace in the conservatory was a real highlight). We were very happy and would be happy to come back! ☺️

We had a great few days in the cottage. Everything was super clean and we visited the family from there. It is extremely quiet beautiful nature. The host, Viktor, is very kind and more than eager to meet any requests. A pleasant break through and through.

A really nice, cozy cottage in an absolutely idyllic location and with direct views of rocks and the old castle attached to it, where the worth seeing Franconian-Swiss museum is located. We had a great stay and will gladly come back.

We spent the turn of the year with our little daughter at Michael and his wife's place. We were very lucky that it had snowed the days before, making our getaway a real winter vacation. Really great, but it was mainly thanks to the hospitality of Michael and family (including Cat Bärle). They were always there to help, had a sled ready for our daughter and even helped with the ability to drive their own snowboard. Again, a big thank you and see you soon.

We felt right at home at Judit's place! The oven, the beautiful wooden floor, the beautifully decorated rooms directly ensure coziness. The heaters, windows, bathroom and kitchen are modern, large and well selected. The floor squeaks heavily and the house is quite clairaudient, but that didn't bother us at all. The neighbors in the house are very nice, the area is central enough to reach the train station and supermarkets super quickly. However, the train only runs once per hour. There are great hiking trails, the river flows right past the house, the location is absolutely quiet except for the sound of the water. There is a beautiful (unheated) conservatory. The washing machine has a dryer function. Hach... it was just beautiful! We will be very happy to come back, because we have not discovered everything Franconian Switzerland has to offer.

Nicole is an amazing host. She was great to communicate with, super friendly, always available and so quick to respond. Her place was perfectly located - Zirndorf HBF, shops, bakeries and transit all walkable within a few minutes. If you're planning a trip to Zirndorf...highly recommend staying at Nicole's place!

We had an amazing stay! Everything was just perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time here. The house was clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could possibly need. They even thought of everything for kids — from fun activities to safety features, it was all taken care of. The heating system was absolutely fantastic, keeping us warm and cozy the whole time. Honestly, everything was so good! We really hope to come back soon. Thank you so much for everything!

The apartment was very clean, cozy, very well furnished and equipped. We didn't miss anything while cooking; also towels, blankets, etc. From the beginning, the host informed us well, leaving a lot of information in the apartment, easy and easy to reach. Parking available, surroundings quiet, but the nearest shopping is 10 minutes away by car. It was a lovely time!

Matthias house was perfect for our stay. It was well equipped, and comfortable and Matthias was very welcoming and kind. The area was great with several nice restaurants in walking distance. A wonderful home and very well decorated!

We booked the place to meet again as a group of 11 people. The equipment is excellent for more guests and the various areas such as the dining room, living room, billiard basement, sauna and library offer the opportunities to spend time both in the entire group and as smaller subgroups. We were completely satisfied with the accommodation and can fully recommend it. We could only use the large garden moderately as we were on site in winter, but we are firmly planning to book the place again in the summer. Communication was always quick and easy.

The owner and his father were really nice people. They are easy to reach, they answere fast and you can tell they care that the guests feel confortable in the place The house is perfect for big groups, really good isolated and big. Really warm in winter Nice garten to make barbacues

My room had a cool touch. Minimalist design paired with special features such as duck collection in the bathroom, giant bed, 2 pillows for myself, shower curtain with roses.... nice family, will be happy to come back!

Sinisa was very accommodating and extremely helpful in recommending local restaurants and shops. His house is beautiful and perfect for families or couples. Very clean, well presented and open plan which is exactly what we were looking for. Great host and great property.

We spent the Christmas days as a large family (13 people) in the villa and loved it. We had enough space, the decor was nice and the amenities excellent. We perceived that sleeping options were also available outside the main house as enrichments, as you also had a retreat if you needed your peace and quiet. It's not optimal in the winter time, but it wasn't bad. The sauna was another highlight for us. It was unfortunate that the heating went out on Christmas Eve. But the fact that Stephan directly sent someone to help speaks for his proactive communication. All in all, we REALLY liked the place. Definitely recommend it.

The house is beautiful and lovingly decorated and has a lot of charm. The view into the garden is magnificent and invites you to linger. What we particularly liked: we were able to sit together for 5 and end the day with a glass of wine. Thank you Marion for allowing us to spend a great weekend in Regensburg in your home :)

It was supposed to be a quiet Christmas as well as New Years and New Year with our six-month-old daughter and that's exactly what we were able to find at Cristel's. So we could enjoy the last days of the year in peace and to the fullest. The accommodation is something very special and has everything you need. But in case something is missing, Cristel is immediately ready to remedy it. In general, Cristel is a very warm host and also has very nice tips for excursions nearby. We will always be happy to remember this very great holiday in Rattelsdorf😊
