Vacation rentals in Ambalangoda

The White House Lodge was amazing. Janaka and his family made us instantly feel welcome and at home. The apartment is quite spacious and you'll be provided with everything you need. the terrace is very beautiful as well. Everything in Madiha is in walkable distance. Janaka helped us with tuktuks and car rides as well.

Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

Great villa with fantastic pool and all the amenities as stated in the description. local town, shops and restaurants all 15-20 mins walk. Pamoda and the housekeeper Sunetta could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at shehan’s place… was worth every penny… the pool waa clean and we had the best time there.. the only thing is it is bit old construction and require a little bit of renovation… otherwise perfect overall Thank you shehan would surely recommend

We were blown away by the beauty and serenity of Villa Ovita in Talpe, Sri Lanka. This stunning villa was literally a paradise on earth, surrounded by lush greenery and an incredible array of animals. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a nature lover's haven. But what truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of our host, Damith. He was incredibly welcoming and kind, and it's clear that he's poured his heart and soul into creating this beautiful oasis. His hard work has paid off, and we felt so grateful to have been able to experience it. We spent our last few days in Sri Lanka at Villa Ovita, and it was the perfect way to unwind and relax. Thank you, Damith, for your exceptional hospitality and for sharing your little slice of paradise with us. We can't recommend Villa Ovita highly enough!

One of the highlights of our stay was the indoor pool—it truly added an extra touch of luxury and made our experience even more enjoyable. We had a truly wonderful stay at Chaminda’s place! From the moment we arrived, he treated us like family—always going out of his way to help us with anything we needed. Whether it was finding the right cab, recommending great places to eat, or giving local tips, Chaminda was always there with thoughtful suggestions and a smile. The house itself is beautifully designed with a peaceful and relaxing vibe—perfect for unwinding. The atmosphere is warm, calm, and really well thought out. It was honestly one of the best stays we’ve had on Airbnb. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Must stay!

Their hospitality added a special touch to our experience. Even though this is my fourth time in Sri Lanka, this stay has been one of the highlights of my trips.
