Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

From here you can easily reach Munich city center for sightseeing, exhibitions, as well as Oktoberfest by S-Bahn, train or car in about 30 minutes. The Messestadt Riem (concerts and trade fairs) only 20 minutes. The Allianz Arena is also easily accessible by public transport. For further excursions, we recommend the largest thermal spa world in Europe in Erding, Poing amusement park and the exploration of many swimming lakes. We had a wonderful stay and immediately felt at home. Sabine and Klaus are very warm and helpful hosts. The apartment was very clean and furnished with love for detail. It was very pleasant that things like oil & vinegar, salt & pepper, coffee and many other things were provided in the apartment. Our children (2 and 3.5 years old) were able to move freely in the yard without us having to worry. They especially liked the pony riding, including Currying and scraping hooves. The place is a good starting point for excursions. The place is highly recommended and we'd love to come back.

What can we say, it was great with Bernhard and his family... the place is wonderful and perfect for slowing down... the area is a dream and we would like to sincerely thank you for sharing this place with us... the alpacas who even visited us on the terrace, the two dogs with whom our children had a lot of fun, the chickens and of course the goats, everything was so wonderful... our son even fulfilled the wish to milk a goat...
