Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Altamaha River

This place was just what we needed. We were in town for work and needed somewhere cozy at night to crash. This place was exactly that. I would recommend this to anyone. It has everything you need for a great stay.

Lillis is the host you dream for in an ABNB! She is so accommodating, very responsive - quickly, gives great recommendations. She always makes us feel comfortable. It’s like coming home. If the Sanctuary is not available we are so disappointed. We come to Savannah at least 4 times a year. The home is beautiful, nice quiet neighborhood, completely fenced, and the owner is an accomplished gardener- couldn’t be better!

Raquel's place was amazing! Believe the other 5 star reviews. We booked this place last minute coming to Savannah from Pennsylvania. We were completely amazed at how much this place looked like the pictures and how much care went into this place for rentals. Our kids were beyond comfortable! All the extra things provided within the house you can tell that Raquel has definitely thought everything out. The area was quite. The playground was ok. Whats really good is there is a market and many other things across the street so this is the perfect location if your looking for privacy and easy access to food. I recommend this host 10 times over! I would rent again any day! This rental is definitely in the top 5 in the area!

The house was perfect for what we need. We travel with an adult child and and a 7 year old. The house is in a good quiet neighborhood. We have family in the area so we cooked dinner and could all be together. When we come back will definitely book again

We loved the covered porch and tons of fenced yard for our dog. The kitchen was well equipped and the descriptions for the house were all very accurate. My husband was able to run meetings with the excellent internet too! Would happily stay again :)

We went down for a bachelorette trip and this house was perfect for us. We had plenty of space and weren’t on top of each other when getting ready to hit the streets! CUTE decorations and matched the description/photos of the house perfectly! Lisa was absolutely amazing and very quick to respond if I had any questions. As soon as I booked the house 8 months prior to our trip she already reached out via text and sent 2 emails with info on the house and things around the house for suggestions. I will definitely be booking with Lisa again!

An absolutely beautiful setting in the marsh. Gorgeous 100 year-old oaks, Spanish moss, tons of birds, right on the marsh with creek access. Quick boat ride to the ICW and Sapelo Island from the property dock with gorgeous views. We stayed in the Dogtrot cottage and it was beautifully appointed, lots of amenities and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome with a charcuterie board, local honey, wine, and other local goodies. Perfect place to unwind with family and reconnect with nature. Only 10 min to Darien’s charming restaurants.

We had a great time at a beautiful place for our very first rental! Lots to do just within the little community for different age ranges. Short distance to multiple things to do. Great host and would stay again!

Great location, quiet neighbors and easy access to local hot spots

family of 7 really enjoyed our stay. the kids loved the game room and the pool! we loved the location. it's close to Kroger, Walmart, Publix, and other stores for groceries and other needs. Only 10 min from tybee Island and 15 min from downtown savannah. the hosts were very responsive and friendly. communication and instruction was on point! we will definitely stay again! thank you so much for making our vacation perfect! 💕

We really enjoyed staying here! Beautiful home that we all loved. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and game room. The only thing we were bummed about was that the pool was not heated (We assumed it was since it was available all year long) but after looking at the listing again it did not indicate that it was heated. Alvin was a great host and was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Airbnb located perfectly in between downtown Savannah and Tybee. We were able to comfortably sleep 8 and had the best time at the pool! Would love to stay here again sometime.

Wendy is a great host. Very responsive and easy to deal with. She went out of her way to adjust check in timing, which made us very calm. The house was perfect for what we needed. We came as a family with kids of all ages and we had such a good time! The pool was the best part, we loved it!

This place was the perfect little getaway. It’s small, however even with 3 kids, it was amazing. The living room has large sliding doors that open to the patio which gives it the “beachy” feeling and more living space. The pond with ducks, playground and pool were such fun little amenities to have for the kids. And very close and convenient to everything we needed.

Krazie's property is exactly what my family desired; peaceful and within a short distance of the relatives we were visiting. The property itself was very neat. She has a large selection of games if you choose to stay indoors, and televisions at the ready if that is how you choose to entertain yourself. I really appreciated her desire to maintain contact with me if I needed to bring anything to her attention and/or ask a question that was pertinent to our stay. Don't let the bias against staying in trailers dissuade you. It was quite comfy. Will use her property again if it is available to us.

We had a great time at Margarita's place. Right from check-in to checkout, everything was easy. We loved the seaside vibe inside the place. Kitchen and other supplies were reasonably sufficient. The location is also great, being easily accessible to the beach, pier, and restaurants. We will highly recommend it.

This place surpassed our expectations. It was clean, cozy, and the hosts were so friendly. It was our first time traveling out of state with our pups and the space made it so easy for them. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus. We didnt want to leave! Thanks so much!

Our stay at Shawn’s was absolutely wonderful! The neighborhood is so nice and welcoming. The short drive to Tybee was a huge help on our beach day and they even have a few beach accessories to borrow if you forget your own! The drive to Savannah was easy as well! Their deck and decorations are so homey and fun you couldn’t help but settle in and feel rested and ready to adventure and have fun. The beds and furniture were super comfy and clean. The kitchen and bathroom were well supplied even with a few nice surprises that sealed the deal for a wonderful weekend! The ducks were adorable to watch from the deck and we love dogs so the pups on duty were adorable as well! We would stay here again for sure!

We had a really good stay at Heather's place. The guest house was very nicely appointed and just the right size for us. It was also close to places we wanted to visit. Our dog enjoyed the large back yard as well playing with the huskies.

We truly loved our stay at Mary’s place. The location to the beach was unbeatable, and the house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing month-long stay at this Airbnb while waiting to close on our home, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The space was comfortable, welcoming, and perfect for our needs—including our three cats, who were happily accommodated. The hosts went above and beyond by allowing us extra time to search for our missing cat that ran out the morning of check out, and their kindness meant the world to us. Thanks to their understanding, we were able to reunite with her, making this stay even more special. If you’re looking for a great place with wonderful hosts, I highly recommend this Airbnb! Also throughly enjoyed the gym and laundry facility, but most importantly all of the cats! There are tons of cats roaming around I got to pet and feed. Some even sat on my lap for a lazy evening on the porch. love love love ❤️
