Richard and Jules are great hosts who respond quickly to our messages. They provide lots of info on the house and area. The house is easy to find, just minutes from the N125, with convenient keybox check-in. Located by a not too busy access road of a neary hamlet. The living and kitchen area are beautifully designed and well-equipped, with Wi-Fi, a large smart TV, pellet heater, big fridge-freezer, oven, induction hob, small dishwasher, and essentials like Nespresso pods, tea, and soap. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for our five-night stay. The bed, though only 140 cm wide, is comfortable, and there’s bedroom AC. The bathroom is tiny but stylish, with a small water heater that reheats quickly. The outdoor area is private and well-kept, with fruit trees and seating for a relaxing ambiance. While the bistro set is charming, a larger dining set would be a welcome addition. The jacuzzi was great. We did have some trouble with the parasol’s stability, even in calm weather.

Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

What a wonderful location and a beautiful stay! The view from the gazebo was magnificent, the interior of the villa was beautiful and well decorated, and the pool was definitely everyone's favorite feature! The walk to town was not far, and the views alone the way alongside the cliffs were breathtaking. The home and surrounding area provides something for every taste and age, and the beauty of the area is what makes Portugal so amazing. This place has a special magic you must see for yourself!

We had a very nice week in this very nice house! Very quiet location between the orange trees, very clean, very well equipped, just beautiful. The hot tub right next door is a very nice extra, especially on slightly cooling autumn days. Communication with Ana absolutely smooth, uncomplicated and spontaneous, thank you!

We had a very nice stay in this simple country house although it took us a bit to find it. It has a beautiful garden with barbecue, ideal to disconnect for a few days and get to know the area

A really nice place! The pool was perfect for our kids. There were even a few games for them Thank you for the bottles on arrival, it was really a very touching gesture! The landscape is very beautiful! In short, nothing to say, it's really a good base for visiting the surrounding cities and beaches while staying away from the city to rest in the evening. The house is cool for summer and there is heating for winter Thank you so much again for this place

We enjoyed this spot so much that we stayed an extra night. I wish we stayed longer so we could utilize the pool and terrace and other spaces even more. The kitchen is so well stocked with equipment, and the host provides small snacks and beverages upon arrival which was a generous touch. The cottage is home-y and the location is amazing.

Charming apartment in perfect location. Ondina and her family are the nicest people, we felt very welcome. Everything is provided, even child and baby equipment. The place was very clean and parking is safe. The location is 3 mins by car from shops and restaurants and 10-15 mins to several beautiful beaches . One of the bests stays we ever had .

Listing as described. Host nice. Large, private terrace with great view. Private and yet right near the beach. Part of the small beach is behind rocks and is pleasant to use even in high waves and wind. Heating and A/C available. Car recommended.

My husband and I visited the cottage with our friends and we've had the most magical time. The cottage itself is beautiful, clean and perfect for two couples. The surrounding area is peaceful and relaxing. The large terrace area offers a great entertainment space as well as plenty of shade for those that need it! Plus all day sun for those that like to roast! We will absolutely be visiting again as I've never felt so relaxed on a holiday before. Thank you so much for hosting us at this incredible cottage 🥰

We are delighted with our stay in ma cabaña, we would love to repeat!! The only downside is the stony road to get from the secondary road to the door of the home. Not exactly for normal city cars, that would be great if they could fix that step! Everything else spotless

What a wonderful stay at Miguel’s lovely property! A beautiful traditional home that had everything we needed for a family of four including two teenagers. The outside space is amazing - the pool and outdoor seating area are very private and we had many a lazy afternoon by the pool. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay! We were a group of young people of 7. The house has much more charm than the pictures, the tranquility without a neighbor was perfect. It was well equipped as described with dishwasher, washing machine, bath towels and pool towels ect.. The pool was great with the little garden furniture. I recommend a car. Ana and Veronica were super responsive for check-in and checkout again thank you.

A great stay at Casa Margarida. The house and grounds are fantastic and the huge private pool was amazing particularly for our kids (5 & 7). Close to some lovely beaches and waterpark. Also very nice to enjoy some of the produce of the vines!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Stefano's place in Januari! It's a very private and calm region in between the hills. It's a good spot to explore the Algarve by car. Even though Januari might be a cold month for the Algarve, the house is well heated. Loved the eggs from his chickens we got at check-in :). Stefano was very friendly and always very responsive. Thanks!

Rented for 3 months while I moved from the UK to Monchique. Ze was very helpful and responsive when I had a couple of problems during the stay. Ze had things all sorted for me within a very short space of time.

Mickael, was there to greet us when first arrived, and showed us around the unit. There was a nice welcome package of wine, beer & snacks. The accommodation was very clean and well appointed. Was great to have the washing machine available within the unit, and outside drying facilities. Bathroom had a good size walk in shower and was very clean. There were rural noises, which is pretty normal for this area of the Algarve, dogs & cockerels, which we soon learned to tune out during our stay. We had a hire car to get around the area and recommend to anyone else staying here to do the same. The unit was a nice size for two adults for 3 weeks, it could sleep 4, however, this would have been cramped.

Karyn was a fantastic host. We were able to move into this charming place with a great garden much earlier. The accommodation was very clean, equipped with everything you need for a holiday. The house is a little secluded, away from all the hustle and bustle, ideal for people looking for relaxation, but you need a car to explore the enchanting surroundings. Great beaches, restaurants and supermarkets can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Thank you for having us as guests. We'll be back for safety. With best regards, Vera and Manni

If you are looking for peace, a great view, a charming cottage with a cozy interior, a kitchen with all amenities and beautiful bathroom, then you have come to the right place at Judite. The area offers opportunities for beautiful walks. Supermarkets can be found in nearby Monchique. We enjoyed and at Lavender Cottage. Recommend!

Maria Helena's place looked as shown in the pictures. A special feature is a good-sized pool and many sun loungers around the pool to accommodate a larger group. We also liked the historic feel and look of the house, while all the modern amenities are there. A large terrace with a seating area and dining table provides a nice place to relax all day (incl. late evenings and early mornings with a sunrise). Great views from the terrace to the surrounding countryside - the house is private with a good distance from the other houses. You would need a car to get to the shops, etc., but it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the shops in Lagos. Many local restaurants are even closer. Overall, it was a lovely holiday. Maria Helena is also an excellent host. She gives advice at the beginning and stays a few minutes away by phone if you have any questions or concerns. She also kindly let us stay longer on our check-out day as we had a late afternoon flight back home.
