Cheryl was an excellent host…. We arrived just in time for a spectacular sunset on the beach just off the house. The place was simply superb…. Wish we had more time.

We stayed 2 nights at the Plover’s Rest while we were around Mt Gambier region. We were looking for a place to wind down from our busy life and have a peaceful rest. Plover’s Rest is situated in a such an idyllic place, and we found the view from the bedroom window amazing (even with the overcast sky). Joy, with whom we communicated, is an amazing host. Provided us with everything we needed and the place was spotless and welcoming. We are very grateful for this experience and will recommend Plover’s Rest to anyone who is looking to stay at this place. Cheers!

My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before our wedding and used the area as our getting ready space. From the moment we walked in, we were in awe of how beautiful, peaceful and homey this cottage is! The colours, decor and layout were just magical and really eye catching🥰 Hubby and I stayed the night of the wedding, and it was the perfect surrounding to relax and soak in the special day we just had. From cozying up in the gorgeous robes to feeding the alpacas and sheep the next morning!🤩 Highly, highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking for a restful and peaceful spot to stay! 💗 We cannot wait to be back!

Connie’s place was perfect for our family reunion with grandparents coming from overseas. We were able to book one night at this beautiful Art Deco property with everything we needed.. High quality kitchen for preparing dinner and beautiful views standing on the front porch. The perfect place for extended family to holiday together.
