Monthly Rentals in Alleghany

We loved our stay. The yurt was beautiful with a lot of amenities like wood heating, separate split AC/heat in the bedroom, a full kitchen, a flushable bathroom that was outside the yurt but just a few steps away, and hot water for the kitchen and bathroom use. Judith was very responsive and friendly. She recommended some local places to visit (Yuba River Beach by Peterson's and Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park). Overall we are very satisfied with the stay. We missed the note that pets are allowed, so expect some pet hair in the yurt.

I had a wonderful, long-term stay at Justin's place. Wifi was reliable for work from home and the unit was as described with everything required for long stays. Condon Park is practically across the street and it's just a pleasant, 12 minute, fully side-walked walk to Grass Valley proper. Five stars across the board. Certainly book Justin's place if you find it available.

Thank you so much for everything Luci!! This place was so perfect for my month and a half long stay! Luci was such a great host and so welcoming. Luci thought of everything and if there was ever anything I needed she was quick to remedy it. She even offered to pick up things from town every time she came up, and left a couple sweet thoughtful gifts. La Port is such a great town, everyone in town is so nice and welcoming and the nature views around are unparalleled. I will miss La Porte so much! Notes for guests: If you work from home- the internet is fantastic! Be sure to check out the longhorn meat next store at the general shop! You won’t be disappointed you stayed here! ☺️

Had a great stay! Nikita was very communicative and the place looked exactly like the pictures. Wonderfully set up space to be in and look at. The trees surrounding are beautiful. Before I got there I thought maybe it’d be less private than I had hoped but it was actually super quiet and I felt very comfortable being down a short road from the main house. Seems like a nice neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.
