Wow.. what a view. Peaceful location, large block away from neighbours. Huge back deck. Clean and tidy batch with everything you need. Fire place made it nice and cosy for our winter stay. Note: It does have a washing machine but no dryer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Piha, The house is one of a kind and makes for a memorable visit. The view is worth the walk.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kirsty's place. Kirsty's home was well equipped for our stay and the only thing I could have wished for, was to be able to stay longer! If you wanted to relax and just absorb the stunning views and hear the rolling surf or get out and explore Piha in all its rugged West Coast glory - then this is the place for you! Kirsty was highly engaged with her clear and quick communication and was super friendly right from the time of booking our long weekend away. We have three young kids and we all just loved it. Great place overall! Super comfortable for the 6x of us. The shower is good with good pressure which is always appreciated. The spa was a highlight for us and we recommend hoping in in the evening so that you can watch the Milky Way. The place is so peaceful, it’s a great place to wind down and really feel like you’ve had a break. We hope to be back!

It was my first family holiday since 2017. The AirBnB was a new experience for me, but the hosts were respectful and their place was wonderful! I was able to bring our 2 x dogs which was great and I took them for a walk every morning, greeting others with their dogs on the way. My adult children loved being able to hang out at the beach and sit in the hot tub or use the kayaks on offer. My husband unfortunately worked every day but was able to enjoy to peace and quiet at night. Having a washing machine was practical and saved my workload when we returned home. We visited Charlies Gelato which was yum and I was able to purchase some beautiful wine from Brick Bay vineyard. Matakana was disappointing it felt like Auckland with long lines of traffic and expensive products however, the lady at Honest Chocolate was lovely. We fished off Scotts Landing and caught 5 legal snapper. All in all, I would highly recommend this AirBnB, absolutely the best holiday in a very long time. Thank you.

We stayed at Kennedy Point for our wedding. It was honestly perfect! My parents and I were comfortable the night before and they let us leave bags (and my dress) early which was greatly appreciated. After the small wedding, the balcony proved a perfect place for our families to relax. We had such a special time and this Airbnb contributed hugely to that. Thanks so much for hosting us!

The photos are excellent but wait until you see it in person, it's even better! Stunning location with beautiful views. A very quiet and peaceful lodge that has everything you need. The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. The place itself was spacious, clean, and tidy - everything I could ask for in an Airbnb. The amenities were top-notch, and the decor was modern and stylish. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The location was also perfect - with nearby transport available, it was easy to explore the surrounding area. Everything was wonderful. The location perfect. To have the option to enjoy the beach, swimming pool or hot tub was amazing. The living space was much bigger than we expected. Ian was very generous in leaving food and treats so we didn't need to rush out to the shops. The giant blow up unicorn in the pool was perfect for our granddaughters. We hope to one day stay here again. We can highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay with wonderful host. Host was really friendly and provided great suggestions for Auckland touring. The location was quiet but close to fun restaurants. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed with nice linens. Everything you might need in kitchen, bath and closet. Lots of nice hangers in closet- my pet peeve. Like staying at a nice resort. Highly recommended.

SJ is truly one of a kind. Very responsive and friendly to us. Her house is exactly as the pictures shown and it’s squeaky clean! Her place is fantastic , just a walking distance to the city and in the vicinity of anything and everything ! Well worth our money. Thanks for being a great host! This place was perfect. we spent most of the time in the pool , such a bonus to have an outdoor hot shower too. the gardens are immaculate, thoughtful and tropical. bathrooms and kitchen are modern and easy to keep clean. Fresh linen and all the TVs were smart tvs and simple to use. Great breakaway from Tāmaki Makaurau.

Due to a mistake with Airbnb, I had to check out later than expected but Gali was more than welcoming and accommodating. A kind, friendly and interesting host. Great location to walk down to the beach, or just hang out on the balcony and take in the views. Gorgeous, can’t wait to come back.

We had a lovely stay at Bruce and Karen’s place. The property is only meters from the beach and in a very quiet area. Walking distance from Devonport (20min) but only minutes from local cafes and restaurants. Their place was clean and comfortable, with the main bedroom downstairs and the living area / extra bedroom upstairs, complete with a view of Rangitoto and the bay. Would definitely come back!

What can I say we loved this place. View is perfection. Kitchen has everything you need. Bed is comfortable. Washing machine and dryer new and easy to use. Loved our night here

What a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends! Stunning views, wonderful layout, tasteful decor and well equipped kitchen. The photos don’t capture the amazing location. The deck facing the ocean is a great gathering spot. We were absolutely delighted to be able to spend a few days in this enchanting environment. Fantastic place to stay, private retreat on Kawau just over an hours drive from Auckland. Well designed house with everything you need, easy to access kayaks and beautiful firest with kiwi in the backyard. Stunning location and great for a few days away.

It is a beautiful , clean and spacious place for a larger group. With space to have privacy and also for all to share meals, games and conversations. Amazing views, close walking distance to restaurants, walk to the beach, great flexible and responsive host, spa, great outside spaces. Worth a visit.

We had a wonderful time in a stunning setting. Perfect getaway with our extended family. Colleen and John were very hospitable hosts - and was lovely to use the kayaks and the spa. Nature and great design at its finest. So relaxing. Would stay again!

Loved my 2 nights at Batley The Bach is well equipped with everything required for a peaceful restful stay without the distraction of TV etc. Loved the low tide walks around the coast, the birdlife and jumping fish! 'Love at the end of the road' book gives an insightful look into the interesting history of the area. Thank you Rae and Rex for sharing this magical secret spot.

Lovely rustic bach in a superb location right across the street from a fantastic beach. Perfect for our group of 5, bring supplies as the local store has only the most basic items. Would come back again for sure.
