Waterfront vacation rentals in Aldeburgh

Brilliant location overlooking the beach. Comfortable flat with everything we needed. Excellent takeaways literally around the corner - amazing fish and chips and Chinese takeaway (and a Thai restaurant which we didn't get chance to try). Also little Tesco and Premier grocery shop nearby. Even though it was November, everywhere was open including a beach burger/coffee/ice cream shop opposite the flat. Would love to come again!

Really enjoyed my stay - apartment was nicely presented and clean. It is in a small development which was very quiet and peaceful. Easy parking with a dedicated parking space. The location is excellent- Gorleston has a lovely beach just across the road and there are a range of cafes, bars and resturants within easy walking distance near the beach and harbour. Also lots of options on Bells Road and Lowestoft Road/High Street.

Me and my partner, had a wonderful stay here ! The apparentment was spacious clean and in a fab location, the harbour doc was lovely and pretty to walk around especially at night, Zonja was very accommodating and answered any questions or concerns we had, the apparentment had a PlayStation to our surprise which was just an added bonus ! Would 100% be returning and would definitely recommend 😊

This cosy apartment in Koolunga House was the perfect home-from-home for 5-weeks during a local work placement. The location was ideal, far enough away from the business of Great Yarmouth, but close to local shops, food spots and a walk along the river to Gorleston's lovely sandy beach and cliffs - great for coffee and dog spotting! The house has endless character and the balcony was a dreamy escape - both during the day overlooking the lush garden and dragonflies, and in the evenings for spotting stars and fireworks in the distance. The owners and house manager were a message away and really helpful. I would absolutely stay at Koolunga House again if I’m ever back in the area.✨

Modern chalet with everything we needed. So many little touches that we weren't expecting, a very nice welcome pack, lots of tea and coffee, salt and pepper loo rolls, etc. It was cold and wet for most of the time we were there but the chalet was warm and cosy. Big enclosed decking area for our dogs. Will be looking to book again.

The apartment is very well appointed with a great view over Ipswich Marina with the bonus of some fabulous sunsets too. The apartment is spacious for a two-bedroom accommodation and the two bathrooms are a definite advantage. The host, Martin, was very supportive and attentive to our needs throughout the stay with prompt and friendly communication. I would certainly recommend this apartment and would look to book again for future stays in Ipswich.

A lovely little place to stay and the private hot tub is fantastic with stunning views. A good location with shops and takeaways nearby and easy access to Ipswich.

Lucy and Lawrie were great! We didn't see much of each other but Lucy made a point of coming to say goodbye when we were packing the car to leave again. Communication was great, the cottage has everything you need and there is a fab pub just up the road called Black Swan and the food is amazing! Lucy and Lawrie have gone to the effort of creating a little guide book which has loads of info and great ideas of things to do, it really does add a lovely personal touch!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Christine’s property as for us it is conveniently located to visit family. The house is always clean and warm, well equipped and maintained with everything needed for a stay. The extra touches such as Christmas decorations , and welcome items are really lovely and appreciated. The beds are comfortable and the house is quiet and warm.

A lovely house for a winter beach weekend. The house is pristine, modern, cosy and tastefully decorated. Located in a quiet area and a one minute walk to a children's park and the beach. 10 minutes to Lowerstoft and the beautiful Carlton Marshes and a 10 minute drive from Southwold.

Compact but with everything you need for a short stay. Nice decor and lovely to have the additional touch of Christmas decorations for a December visit. Property pictures and description were an accurate reflection of reality. As described, the stairs are steep, but we quickly got used to them. Road is very narrow, and care is required for parking, but it was manageable.

Lizzie’s place is absolutely beautiful, spacious & extremely well presented; it is perfect for a stay in Old Harwich Town. It has a lovely garden with table & chairs & solar lighting, which we were able to use. It’s a stones throw from the harbour & pubs & about ½km from the station. We stayed whilst attending the Harwich Shanty Festival so can’t comment on places near by or the main town. Lizzie was kind enough to let us go in earlier than the listed time & her home was most definitely one of the best of the many Airbnb properties we have stayed in. It really was like home from home. The kitchen was amazingly equipped & everything was clean & tidy. The bedrooms are a good size & there are plenty of bathrooms. We sort of lost communication with Lizzie during our stay which would have been an issue if we had had a problem but other than that I can't see any reason not to stay here tbh; aside form, if I sing it's praises too much, the next time I come to book, it will already be taken

We loved our stay at Brightmer Villa. The location is superb, close to town, beach, Adnams and with a wonderful view of the lighthouse. The house is well equipped, light, spacious and worked well for our family get-together. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch. We struggled a little with the Aga but we had an air fryer so we managed with that and combi oven. Overall a lovely property in a fabulous location. Thank you Kate for a wonderful stay.

This is our favourite place to stay in Norwich. This time we had the pleasure of meeting Ziggy the cat! Hope to see you again soon thanks Hannah!

We had such a wonderful break, children had the best time crabbing and stomping, beaching and paddling. Location was great, ideal for ferry over to southwold. We felt very at home, enjoyed having a fire and dining together at the big table or chatting on the super comfy chairs and window seats. Bell Inn and Anchor both offered amazing menus. Local shops provided everything we needed. We hope to be back again soon.

This riverside apartment was a real find! The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and with a comfortable bed. The welcome pack of extremely tasty bread, butter milk and eggs was much appreciated. Travelling with our two dogs we found it very convenient to have the use of the small front garden for their early morning and late evening toilet visits. Lily and Sasha enjoyed the short circular walk through Falcon Meadow (opposite the property) and back through the village. We could imagine how lovely it would be to sit by the river on warm summer days/evenings but the December weather was not conducive! We would have liked more time to explore Bungay with its variety of independent and quirky shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants but we did find time for a very tasty dinner at the Fleece Inn. Jan and Mark (+Rolo the Spaniel) are the perfect hosts, making us feel more like friends than paying guests, We would highly recommend and hope to stay here again. Anne, Keith, Lily and Sasha.

Gorgeous Airbnb! Looked exactly like the pictures with all the amenities listed. It was beach front and the views were beautiful! The hot tub was the added touch that made our weekend perfect! Local restaurants and grocery stores were all in walking distance, and everyone was very friendly. Sam was a very good host, responsive and proactive in providing a good stay! 10/10 would recommend this Airbnb and will probably be back!

It was a nice getaway the location was perfect and me and my partner enjoyed it very much .

Had a great stay at Agi's place! The apartment is located right on the water with a bunch of shops and restaurants right at hand. Agi was also very responsive and welcoming, offering a book of suggestions on local attractions and willingness to communicate any time.

Briony is a fabulous host. Communicated throughout the booking and gave some great insight on where to eat and what to do. Explained the position of Airbnb and helped us make a booking for dinner when we could not find anything available. The spacious accommodation has two big bathrooms, and the kitchen was welcoming (we did not cook as we needed more time). It had nice coffee, orange juice, and Prosecco to welcome us. Good quality linen. We loved how easy it was to walk in the town centre through the historical streets of Norwich, and the beautiful Cathedral is very close.

It’s okay to pull right up and unload all of your stuff right in front of the iron gate. It’s a pretty melow and sleepy seaside yown concerning such matters. Host said up to ten minutes parking there should be okay. Note that the road that the apartment entrance is located on is a single-lane “alleyway” and easy to pass right by. Comingbfrom Sainsburys and heading down Nicholas Road, it is the small street just before the light at Regent Street. You can ise the Just Park app to park at Sainsburys cheaply, but recommend parking at the southern edge of the parking lot in some of the wider family spaces. I got a major ding on the side of my car from parking in the busier section of the parking lot for several days.

Fantastic place to stay, amazing apartment, felt at home immediately. Everthing you need even decorated for Xmas. Easy 5min walk into the centre of Southwould.
