Great place to relax and unwind. Many areas to visit nearby, although the enclave in which the house is located was already charming by itself, with the sound of the river and nature around. The house is very cozy, with everything you need, you feel at home from the moment you arrive. All attention to detail, a pleasant surprise the electric blanket on the bed. We only stayed for two days and felt how our batteries were charged. Our dogs had a great time too. Highly recommended.

We had the most peaceful, relaxing time staying at this cottage. It has been carefully and stylishly converted, with lots of character. I especially loved the vaulted roof and the wonderful shower. The private pool is a real bonus and we loved eating by the pool looking over the olive trees - very restful. Daniel went above and beyond to greet us when we arrived late after our flight, and on a rainy day even brought us a hamper of bread, pastries and coffee - he could not have been more helpful and considerate. Beautiful Marvão and Castelo de Vide are easily reachable, and we also made a day trip to Cáceres just over the border visiting the stunning old town area. On our quiet days we enjoyed several walks amongst the cork oak, olive, eucalyptus, and mimosa tree in the surrounding hills of the national park. A wonderful stay in a beautiful place, highly recommended.

Everything in perfect condition, the bedding smelled clean, tidy, taking care of the details. Friendly, helpful hosts. Recommended place for the tranquility, ideal for resting and visiting things. Thank you for accepting our dog and giving us those great views when you get up, hard to beat. We were very comfortable. We will definitely recommend the stay and it will be on our list to return.
