Vacation rentals with a kayak in Alberta

Wow! We had such an amazing time at the Rusty Bear…we didn’t want to leave! The location is incredible, just a few steps from the water. The sauna and running down to the lake combo comes highly recommended! The trains were not a bother at all but glad of the warning as the horn is loud haha! There are amazing trails just down the road, the bakery is amazing - great pizzas on Fridays and really good coffee and baked goods (the famous cinnamon buns did not disappoint!). The house was super clean, and the little dog touches were really stand out - beds, toys, biscuits! It’s a great spot for dogs. There are neighbours close but you can’t see them at all from the property and hardly even from the beach. So wonderfully idyllic

The perfect lakefront escape! This cabin is the jackpot—a private beach, all the nature & cabin vibes, and enough space to fit my modern family of five plus our two fur babies. The cabin is spacious, comfy, quirky layout and everything you could possibly need from games, kitchen wear to towels & more. Great communication with Craig, easy to get into. If you’re craving a secluded, serene spot by the lake, this is it.

We were staying for combined purposes - to visit family in the Calgary area, and to ice fish. The property is ideal for getting out on the lake and is a great option for ice fisherman. We appreciated AJ's flexibility in allowing us to host an open house with family one afternoon. We had about 20 people coming and going, and we had a terrific time. The space between kitchen and living area and the pool table and dining room table was excellent for flow of guests! We also appreciated the opportunity to only pay for two guests despite the size of the house! AJ simply locks the extra bedrooms, which is a great rental strategy for him to use! The kitchen was beautifully supplied and linens and towels were plentiful and of good quality. We will definitely look to stay at the property another time we are in the area!

We had an amazing stay at Krista's place. The house was easy to find, beautiful, and very clean (and we are picky people haha) Only downside was there were only 3 bathrooms, one which is connecting to the master bedroom and the other 2 very small. With a larger group this made it hard to shower among other things. Just something to be aware of. But this was completely made up by all of the things to do! Sauna and hottub were great. Very kids friendly as well. Can only recommend and would definitely visit again.

Wow just wow! A beautiful view on the inset lake. Very comfortable furniture and bed. Huge spaces throughout the home. Everything you need plus more. The kitchen island bar top was wonderful to work from and enjoy the million dollar view. Highly recommended. I will be back!! 5 star + all the way

Another wonderful stay at the Moyie Lake cabin. This time, a perfect winter getaway. We stayed cozy inside by the fire. Thanks for providing such a great space to relax! Comfortably slept 14 of us.

Great little place for a fun summer getaway for 2 families! The place has all the kitchen equipment and linens/towels you will need (but remember to bring your own toiletries), and the place is cozy and well setup for hanging out with kids. The dining table is very large so it’s perfect for family-style dinners. The location of the cottage within the complex is a bit further from the beach than some of the other cottages, but totally fine for walking down to the beach with a few things. However, if you have a lot of beach equipment and floaties, it’s better to drive them down to the drop off location near the beach. Our kids loved the bicycles and mini kayaks provided by the owners, which was such a bonus! And the pool/hot tub/gym is a great amenity that was enjoyed by all of us. All of the people in the complex seemed super friendly; lots of kids and families around. Lastly, the location is near some amazing wineries so that was very convenient as well! We loved it.

We stayed with 2 couples, (4 of us) and it was perfect. We felt right at home. Very comfy/had all the extras. Couldn’t ask for more! The surroundings were beautiful! Since it was early November, and cool, we could only imagine the summer there, right on the lake. Beautiful patio to sit as well!

Felt like a little bit of Europe in Naramata. Fabulous views and a great place to spend a few days or weeks. Hopefully will return one day.

Wonderful place to stay! We had so much fun at the lake water park and our home away from home was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We appreciated having 4 separate bedrooms to accommodate our group of 7. The a/c worked great and we could enjoy the sun outside then relax in the cool comfort of the house. Melanie was a super responsive host and very helpful which was greatly appreciated. If you’re on the fence about the golf cart rental, go for it. The walk to the pool and market is flat and easy but the trip down to the lake is quite the hike.

Ryan’s place was the absolute perfect location for our reading get away! The private and peaceful location of the cabin, the beautiful mountain, lake and forest scenery, and a wonderfully stocked home made for an even better weekend than we could have imagined! The beds were comfortable, the couches cozy, everything was clean, and the fireplace in the downstairs living space was such a great touch for our winter retreat. We both agreed we will be heading back soon for another weekend away. Thank you Ryan for providing such a great place to escape to!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The location was incredibly peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The communication with the host was excellent—they were responsive and friendly and ensured everything was for my stay. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable retreat.

Our group very much enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We felt at home, and enjoyed being cozy around the fire in the middle of winter. We're considering coming back to enjoy the lake in the summer!

We absolutely loved our stay at Randi’s beautiful beach house. Myself and my husband took our two young children and we all just had the best time. The place was clean, accurately described, has the most gorgeous views, and they supplied paddle boards and kayaks for us to use which was so fun! I would absolutely recommend staying here, and we can’t wait to be back!

The hosts were so friendly and helped answering all of our questions. The area is stunning and the houses are nicely done up.

This property worked perfectly for what we needed. It’s as the ad explains. It’s cozy, it’s rustic and the views are stunning. I think for the price it’s great value and I would absolutely stay again. Cheers!

This place is great. Close to town. Beautiful and peaceful view. It truly was what my wife and I needed to unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. Moria was super friendly and down to earth person.

We enjoyed our winter weekend stay. This was the perfect setup for elementary aged kids. The cottage was cozy and inviting, while being big enough that we all had our own space. The kitchen is well stocked and functional. Beds were clean and comfortable. Great communication from Jenna, directions and suggestions were well laid out. We left some personal items behind, she was very helpful in arranging to have them returned. We would love to visit again!

We had a wonderful peaceful stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the sweet cabin. We watched the snow fall and the beautiful lake. Couldn’t ask for a better place to take some time out. Hoping to make it in the summer to explore the lake. Would definitely stay again!

Cute little place in the woods with probably the best view in the valley from the balcony. We watched a few Elk and Deer graze along the River and enjoyed the hot tub. Comfy beds and bedding too.

We enjoyed a wonderful and private vacation here at the Arrow lake Escape. The cabin was cozy and warm even in the winter conditions. The beachfront views and access are impeccable and their hospitality was top notch. They kept our fire going while we were away at our hot spring adventures during the days, and the homemade baking was a wonderful surprise 🙏 Will definitely visit again.

This cabin is beautiful it’s beyond cozy! They had a fire lit for us and a cute fire place background playing on the TV to add to the cozy vibes. The windows over looking the lake is just unreal the view is next level it says partial but sure doesn’t feel partial. You can see the lake from every room in the cabin. Waking up to that and having a coffee was beautiful and so relaxing! They were amazing hosts they even gave us a little note with dog treats for our Samoyed which he gobbled up happily. The only thing I would say is make sure you bring socks or slippers in the winter as the tiles in the bathroom are cold in the morning. And if you like a softer bed sleep in the loft as the king bed is a firmer bed. When we come back we will sleep in the loft next time but that’s our preference. Comfy bedding and lots of cozy throws! The Netflix was great to have. Wifi worked great, kitchen was beyond stocked. Even some pods to do laundry. They thought of it all! We Love this place!
