We loved this place, the location, the peaceful atmosphere, the communal kitchen, the alpacas and the cleanliness. You feel like you are far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but it is fast to drive in and eat at the various wineries. But, once back at Soma cidery, there is a peaceful calm. The rooms are lovely and well appointed, and you can use a communal kitchen to make tea or coffee.

Good stay. Unlike most airbnbs this is really a hotel you can book via air bnb. Excellent slide. The hotel is aging but still a good value, great pool and water slide, and location.

Nice place. Will stay again when in the area! The Waterslide is really fun.

We just stayed one night in our way through, would definitely come back to say longer. It's a hotel, so you check in at the front desk and everyone was super friendly.

we loved our stay at Soma. the view from the balcony was so beautiful and the location so quiet and peaceful. the cider was delicious and the restaurant had great tacos. the alpacas were a treat and the common room had everything we needed. we would totally stay here again!

My husband and I spent Easter weekend here and had a wonderful stay. The location is a 15-minute drive from Kelowna's downtown, but it is worth the drive to this peaceful location. The cidery building and the grounds are beautiful, nestled between trees. The rooms are on the second floor (no elevator). However, the rooms are spotless, and the guest lounge offers a common sitting area, a great selection of books to sit and read and a small kitchen that offers snacks, coffee, and tea. The location is safe and quiet. The alpacas on the property were the highlight of our stay; they are the cutest things ever. I will be back next time I'm in Kelowna.

We had a wonderful stay at this stunning property located just 10 minutes from downtown Kelowna. Nestled in a peaceful hobby farming community, the presence of adorable alpacas added a unique charm to our experience. The property was new, clean, and exactly as described, making our self-check-in process seamless. The only minor issue was that we booked for three guests but only received two sets of towels. A refresh between days would have been nice. Additionally, we didn't get a chance to enjoy the cider tasting, as it operates from 12 PM to 5 PM, and our schedule didn't align. If you’re looking for a lot of attention from hotel staff, this wouldn’t be a good choice as everything is very self sufficient. Overall, this property is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a touch of rural charm. Highly recommend!

Wicked cozy spot to stay with the best cider and the alpaca

Fantastic stay in the oldest town in Alberta! We came up to Fort Vermillion for a sledding trip for 2 nights. The Hudson's bay house is packed with history while still having modern day amenities, making this one of the best stays we've ever had. Highly recommend staying here to take advantage of the great snow conditions northern Alberta has to offer! Very comfortable beds, every bedroom has an ensuite and a TV, kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook, balcony on second level overlooking the river, very clean place to stay.

The Sunset Room at the Hudson’s Bay House was beautiful! The bed was comfortable and cozy and the room had everything that I could want. The rest of the house was clean and spacious and the kitchen was fantastic! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are travelling to or through the area.

Stunning location, great check in and out staff. Easy to find and peaceful. Just what we wanted from our stay. Wish we had booked longer than one night. Highly recommend and would come back for sure.

Absolutely gorgeous place. I was surprised at how many great amenities there were. The gym was fantastic, lots of machines and was surprised to find they and a sauna and steam room! The bathroom came supplied with soaps from Rocky Mountain soap Company which is a favourite of ours. There was no tv but that was okay as it was nice being out in the mountains and unplugging. Beautiful location, great amenities and our suite was more than fantastic. We will definitely be coming back.

We loved our stay at bascamp, it was the perfect place to bring kids but I could also imagine with wife only! Fireplace in the cabin was awesome, as well as the little skating rink outside which the kids used a lot!

Lovely suite with jacuzzi tub for romantic getaways in the mountains. The pool and hot tub are refreshing also. Friendly staff. We’ve stayed here twice now and loved it

Words cannot describe how truly magical this place was! Check-in was a dream. It looks exactly like the pictures. My kids enjoyed learning how to make a fire in the woodstove. I also had to do laundry while there. The front desk kindly gave me tide pods and coins for the washer and dryer. Wi-Fi did work, but it was nice to disconnect and enjoy the beauty around us. I hope to come back one day!

Super easy check in. Clean. Comfortable bed. A little noise, but they were very thoughtful to provide ear plugs. Convenient location, especially if you want ski Kicking Horse.
