Vacation rentals with lake access in Adirondack Mountains

The Lakehouse was a great place to celebrate Thanksgiving! Shaun and I communicated early and often about what was in the kitchen, so I only had to pack exactly what I needed for our holiday meal. We added a card table to make space for our guests & it worked out perfectly. The house is spacious and comfortable and the sunrise view can’t be beat!

This spot was great! It served as a base camp for the Adirondack portion of our 2024 fall expedition. It's just minutes from Lake George but not in the chaos so when you are done there you feel like you are going home. Our only regret is that we had so many road trips planned we didn't get to spend much time at Glen lake - it is so peaceful and quiet. However, It was great to wake up each morning to the sun sparkling across the lake and coming right into the living room through the trees, especially with the leaves radiating in color. Everything is right nearby so it's super convenient and it's just a minute from RT87 so you can go where ever you want. The host we're super nice, very friendly and made it feel like we were at our 3rd home - totally comfortable! We'd go back in a heartbeat...

Was perfect for our short getaway, cleaning fee could have been reduced since we were there only 1 night and very little cleaning was needed

I was here for a fall visit so could not take full advantage of the wonderful lake location but would love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy this location. We did have the chance to go on an afternoon kayak which was great fun and absolutely beautiful with the fall foliage! The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils as well as a few spices. We cooked a lot and I brought all ingredients and condiments I needed and I would recommend you do the same. Shop before hand as there is not a grocery store nearby. The location is right across the street from a Circle K but the house is nestled far back from the road with a garage out front so the gas station and all it's buzz were not at all noticeable. The living room was arranged awkwardly and with some tired furniture and the TV is actually in the dining room. If you were a large group trying to watch a movie or gather in the living room this would be a bit challenging. The beds were extremely comfortable!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views were stunning from the moment you pulled into the driveway and from every window in the house! It was family friendly, our kids loved this house, the kids book shelf and the closet of toys and kid amenities! Anna was super responsive from check in day to check out! We were very happy with our stay and not only are we ready to go back, our kids are already asking for another vacation there!! Highly recommend!

Our family of five just spent Thanksgiving at the lake house. Its size and layout accommodated us well - having the second frig became necessary. It’s a lovely place and stunning views from almost every window. Would definitely come again. Thanks!

We fell in love with this place! If you’re thinking about staying here- do it! You won’t regret it. This is the cutest little studio, right on a gorgeous lake. It feels so homey and had everything we needed for a cozy little weekend. Also, Lynne & John are the kindest, MOST gracious hosts. They made us breakfast one morning, left us banana bread & cookies & other snacks in our room, and they were just generally the sweetest people ever! They gave us tons of recommendations for fun things to do around town, too. The dock was so beautiful to sit and look at the lake in the mornings. We can’t say enough good things about this place & the hosts, and we really hope to come back again someday soon!💗

Mitch has a lovely home with beautiful surroundings (Lake Champlain for kayaking and listening to the water lap on the shore, view of mountains across in the Adirondacks), local walks in the area are nice. Hiking not far away. We went into Burlington for a concert. Nice to realize that Mitch is related to a close friend of mine. A very peaceful spot,

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our child at Colgate University. Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts live next door and were very accommodating. The home was beautifully decorated and well appointed with cool fixtures and the most comfortable couch. They provided ground coffee, which was delicious, and the beds had great mattresses. The water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we like but everything else was perfect. The location was peaceful with beautiful views over the lake. The house is remote, but was easy to find. Can't wait to come back.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

We had a wonderful experience. We often visit Lake Placid but rarely stay over in winter. Our farm is just a couple hours away. Angela's Lake front Studio was the perfect Birthday weekend getaway and base camp for our back country ski adventures. Well within walking distance to everything downtown. We were quite delighted by the magnificent morning sunrise view out over Mirror Lake. Overnight EV charging in the Municipal lot just across Main St was super convenient. The luxurious bathroom complete with a 4 head shower was much appreciated after long days in the back country. Angela was very accessible and proactive in her communication. We would definitely stay here in again.

Our stay was perfect in every way. From the thoughtful treats left for our kids, to the heated bathroom floor, and in- unit laundry, everything was more than we expected. Being under the bookstore was lovely and we visited frequently. Sarah and Marc were incredibly accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back! :)

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Michael’s place while returning my daughter for her spring semester at Plattsburgh. The space was warm and cozy, making it easy to feel comfortable and right at home. We truly enjoyed our time and would love to visit again in the future.

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at Lisa’s house. The view was absolutely amazing! Everything was great. Very helpful when we asked questions and was very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back to work. Would definitely rent this house again

We were greeted by Lisa’s adorable golden retrievers and a beautiful view of the lake. The cottage is waterfront and not only has a large deck from which to enjoy the scenic surroundings but huge windows to enjoy the view from inside on the comfy living room furniture. The home is immaculate and spacious. The atmosphere and decor is one of peace and relaxation. Will definitely be returning!

This is a beautiful cozy home. Was well worth the drive for a perfect little get away. Would love to come back during the summer months! This was definitely my favorite winter get away yet. Thanks so much for everything!

We just loved this place even in the winter. Wish I had brought the ice skates! Tonya was super helpful and very fast to respond. If we come back to this location, we will definitely hope to be able to stay here again. Shes definitely a super host!!

We were so excited to spend a peaceful weekend in the Adirondacks, and this is the perfect place! The living area was warm and cozy, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was clean and updated. The seating was comfortable and the smart TV was a good size for the space. The beds were also comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful in the snow, which was plowed regularly during a two-day snow storm. We were just a few minutes drive from town, which always has lots to do. The grocery store is well-stocked and there are lots of fun shops. The host was very clear with instructions in the listing, and very accommodating while we were there. She even sent someone to make sure that we could all make it up the driveway in the snow storm (which was no problem at all for us with AWD). We wanted to go back to the cabin as soon as we got home, since we already missed the peace, quiet, and beauty. We will certainly go back again. Thank you for having us!

Amazing 3-day stay! Perfect, peaceful view with a quiet environment. The lake is beautiful with clean water. The house is in great condition and well-equipped - we enjoyed cooking there. The owners are very nice. Everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend!

Bob was a fantastic host. He provided clear directions and communication throughout our travel time and was available for anything we needed. Met us at the property and did a thorough walk-through, answering any questions we had. Beautiful property with great attention to detail, even included a sound machine in the bedroom! Very cozy and inviting stay! Looking forward to more visits over the next several years.
