we had a great stay at shantidham, the location is so amazing and the hosts so welcoming. even the food is good and the cottages were so spacious with all necessary amenities. in fact we enjoyed our stay in Gokarna mainly because of this place. the offbeat experience was just amazing.

Good, comfortable beach guest house which is 2 minutes away from a beach. The location has a couple of other resorts and guest houses - so it doesn't feel isolated. There's a common restaurant for all resorts where food is decent. Service - whether Prateek or Dinesh - was very responsive. Rooms are new and well kept. Peaceful and quiet for families to stay. What can improve - room service from restaurant can be allowed. No lift

Manju is an excellent host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He allowed us an early check-in, helped with scooter rentals, shared a detailed itinerary, recommended cafes, and arranged affordable transportation to and from the station. The property is clean, surrounded by lush greenery, and offers a peaceful environment. Room is comfortable, with 24/7 hot water and reliable Wi-Fi. The location is convenient, with the main beach just a 10-minute walk, the shopping street 20 minutes away, and the Mahabaleshwar Temple also within walking distance. Manju and his family were very supportive, even allowing us to store luggage after checkout until our evening train. A great place for a safe, peaceful staycation—highly recommended!

The place was great and the same as per photos. it was quite unexpected. the host was extremely welcoming and helpful even before checking in. we had to postpone our trip twice in last few months. they were accommodating. the house is very cozy. don't feel like getting out. the food served was amazing and home food. they make it as per your taste and choice too. they have friendly cats and dogs too. nice tree plantations and back water swamp. we enjoyed it
