Absolutely gorgeous location right across the bay from Skye. Numerous wonderful walks from the house and in the nearby valley. Local shop and pub in walking distance. House is as described. If youre looking for luxuries or that squeaky clean finish, this probably isnt for you but if you are happy with a warm, cosy base with all the necessities you will enjoy your stay here. Very much like staying at your elderly grandmothers! If you are picky about your linens, i would recommend bringing your own towels or sheets but there are plenty provided. Murdoch is extremely warm and friendly and offers a myriad of information about the house and local area making it very easy to enjoy your stay and find the things that interest you. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kate was very welcoming when we arrived and was happy to answer any questions we might have. The airbnb was very clean and comfortable, and was nice and warm throughout the night. Everything we needed to make a simple dinner was provided, along with some milk for tea and coffee. The airbnb is easily accessible to a grocery store, pub, cafes and all the sites around the island. I would highly recommend this airbnb.

BEST HOSTS EVER, I had a really really wonderful and sweet reception and Lesley took good care of me the whole time. The cabin was exactly what I’d hoped, peaceful, private, an amazing view, clean and spacious but still cozy, with a great wood stove that I used every day. Walkable distance to the village with a charming wooded footpath, and gorgeous sunsets over the mountains. It really is a cabin with a view, and it’s a great place for anyone looking to get away from the city and reconnect with nature. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Excellent and proactive communication with Caroline who has been very reactive and helpful, also regarding weather and road conditions. The cabin is lovely, clean and well situated. A bit humid but Caroline provided additional towels and advices, so all good. Thanks again!
