Family-friendly vacation rentals in Yosemite West

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay! Check in was easy and seamless. We were super impressed with how clean the house was and how cozy it felt inside. We stumbled across this AirBNB but for sure will be back! Could not recommend Steve’s spot enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nature’s Riverwalk. The house was spacious, clean, and very cozy! Terri is a fantastic host, very friendly and professional to talk to. The hot tub and pickle ball court was the highlight of our trip!

Overall we had a lovely stay. Everything was as described in the listing and it was a great base to explore Yosemite from. It was easy to find, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was great! We found a few things the cleaners seemed to have missed, which we communicated to Jessica; she did mention getting the cleaners to come back but we had just been cleaning up ourselves as we discovered them. There was firewood outside, but none dry inside, and no matches, fire starters or kindling. We let Jessica know but need to buy our own matches, etc; a bit troublesome since the fire is the main source of heating for the house. Jessica did let us know the day we checked out about a specific wood pile that was supposed to be drier than the one by the door we used. Once the fire was lit the house was very warm. We'd definitely recommend Jessica's property - it's in a great location and was a really cosy place for a winter holiday.

What a wonderful oasis surrounded by nature. I would 100% stay here again. It was exactly what I was looking for and as described by the hosts.

For our 20 yr anniversary we want take a break from all our hard work. We said peaceful, cabin-esq, fireplace, gorgeous scenery that looks and smells like fall, and a hot tub. Sara And Tony's place delivered that and more on a silver platter. Everything was pristine upon arrival clean , beautiful carpet in bedrooms, comfortable beds, relaxing living room, and all the conveniences you could want. The hot tub was so clean, natural gas plumbed to the grill and fire pit. Plenty of seating around the wrap around porch. We loved that they didn't have a long list of chores, they were prompt with communication. We rolled right into the driveway and opened the door to a little peace of heaven! We can't wait to come back!!! Thank you for thinking of everything, so we didn't have to!

We were fortunate to find Cabernet's house at the last min while looking for a place to ring in 2025. Nestled at the top of the perimeter of the Yosemite valley in Oakhurst, the house is a rare find. The weather was beautiful, we got to breath refreshing fresh air and got to enjoy all the amenities at the place. Things we enjoyed. <> Wood burning indoor fireplace. The house was nice and toasty. Perfect for end of Dec/Jan temperatures. <> Large fenced yard for our fur babies. I must say this was the highlight of the trip as it's not easy to find properties that have a completely fenced backyard. Our two husky girls sure enjoyed running around a clean grassy hard. Thank you or WOOF WOOF ! <> Beautiful furniture, clean carpets, well stocked kitchens with a lots of pots and pans to cook. <> Cabernet is super responsive. Very happy about this since a host that communicates well makes the entire experience special ! Thanks Cabernet. Looking forward to visiting again !

Bob & Barbara's place was fantastic and they were so responsive to the couple questions we had! The home is perfect for a Yosemite visit. It is literally less than 10 minutes from the South Gate of Yosemite and only about 20 minutes to Oakhurst. The entire home is so cozy and so clean! We especially loved the hot tub after long days in the park. We also really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen which we were able to make full family meals in over the New Year's holidays. The fireplacewas great to cozy up to and read or watch a movie. We truly had the best time and cannot wait to come back!

Appreciated a great few nights here during a trip to Yosemite. Everything was comfortable and as described. The hot tub was so relaxing and easy to use, and it was already filled when we got there. Thank you!

This was an incredible home. We stayed for my 40th birthday celebration with my pup, just my partner and I, to take a day trip into Yosemite and this was exactly what we needed to escape the city. Marylin was kind, thoughtful, left helpful information to get to the home, the home was thoughtfully decorated with amazing touches throughout (cell phone charging lamps by the bed???) and a place to have our dog was just top tier. Thank you Marylin for making this birthday absolutely memorable and magical, as if being in Yosemite wasn’t enough already. We absolutely will be back!!

The house is great! It’s quiet and spacious. It’s about an hour and some minutes away from the arch rock entrance to Yosemite but it’s a nice drive. Don’t expect signal or wifi while you drive. The house is big and can fit about 4-6 people maybe more if people are bunking together. The kitchen is huge! I love the history of the house it used to be restaurant so I guess that’s why the kitchen is huge. The beds are warm and comfortable, those space heaters are magicians because they work so well!! Only issue was the dishwasher, which we never used, but Nicole was responsive even though it was Christmas Day (thank you again Nicole!) Overall cute house near Yosemite it’s rustic and has all the amenities. Would happily stay here again!

This is an extremely unique place in a secluded location with fantastic views. Great place to unwind and disconnect. Hosts were extremely responsive, friendly, and willing to assist.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this little cottage. It was so cozy and was the perfect way to spend our anniversary. 100% would recommend!

This property is a hidden gem. The cabin is generous and common space with sizable bedrooms. Well appointed to feel right at home. The magic of this place is the serene surroundings and incredible views. There is much to explore on the 12 acre property, including a great trail, a wonderful outdoor game space with several options to choose from. Various seating areas, including a covered porch with spectacular views of the sunset. The lower level play area with three bunkbeds has an ample selection of board games and art supplies. Additionally, the host has a basket of welcoming dog supplies, including water and food bowl a large pet blanket and toys. The biggest challenge, maybe not wanting to leave the warm and inviting property.

We had an amazing stay at the homestead. Each day, we explored Yosemite and loved coming back to the cozy home in the evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and we especially enjoyed unwinding by the fire while reading the Yosemite books provided. Feeding the horses and having fresh eggs for breakfast added a special touch to our stay. Megan was incredibly responsive and suggested a great place for horseback riding, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

A beautiful place with a beautiful backyard with places for activities and lots of space for the 7 of us on our trip to Yosemite! The town is small and a little ways away for quick grocery shopping but is friendly and lively! A perfect place for any vacation for the mountains and would happily recommend this for anyone! Would definitely come here again!

We absolutely loved our stay! The owners were responsive and wonderfully communicative. The house is beautifully maintained and everything we expected and way more. The AC was on for us, making unpacking much more pleasant. The beds are super comfortable, and the bedding so soft. The living room was perfect for lounging with our group. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and the BBQ was pristine. Couldn’t imagine a better place to spend a weekend with your nearest and dearest.

This was by far the best Airbnb experience we’ve had! The owner has thought of absolutely everything to ensure guests feel comfortable and well-informed. The house is beautifully organized, and every room is labeled, making it incredibly easy to navigate. Plus, the owner has created helpful video instructions for everything—from how to operate the appliances to where to find extra supplies—so we never had to wonder about anything. On top of that, they’ve put together their own website with fantastic local recommendations, which helped us discover some hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. The owner is available 24/7 and made us feel like we could reach out at any time for assistance, though everything was so well-prepared that we hardly needed to. Truly, every detail was taken care of, and it made for an unforgettable stay. Highly recommend this home—it’s clear the owner puts so much effort into making sure their guests have a seamless, stress-free experience!

Their place is such a beautiful home! It's very private tucked at the end of the road (read the instructions it explains clear). We were greeted with their sweet big pup and made our stay very pleasant. The host husband was super friendly giving us on tips where to drive and set us up with a solo stove to enjoy the some warmth in the outdoors of their home. Want to be a HERO?? Book this place for your friend group and have a magical time. Dawn was kind and helpful! We were able to walk around the property for a gorgeous sunset and even got to pet some horses! Two guitars to jam, games for the fam, great selection of cookware, surplus of towels, rustic cabin feel, spacious hot tub, amazing giant kitchen table, and plenty of bathrooms! Good vibes!!

My family and I had a fantastic stay! The house is immaculate and the amenities were terrific. We had a blast in the hot tub and our pets really enjoyed all the free space to run around. To top it off, Chris is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The Stewart family providing a very welcoming vacation house. We spent 3 nights at the house around Thanksgiving with two families, totaling 8 persons. It fitted us all very comfortably. There are many games and activities to do around the house. Our kids spent MANY hours outside on the huge trampoline in the front of the house, and playing with the foosball table inside the house. We also played soccer and baseball on the baseball field behind the house. So much fun! One day we made a roadtrip to Yosemite, which was a beautiful scenic 1.5hr drive away. The grownups and young-ones all enjoyed the hot tub under the very clear nightly starry sky! Wow so many stars!! We definitely recommend this house for group gatherings! The only downside we could think of was that there are no curtains installed in any of the bedrooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Christine’s Cozy Corner! The place was clean and cozy and we had plenty of space! She was so sweet and put heaters in the rooms for us and had everything ready to go. It was within a short drive to Yosemite too! Excellent place!!
