Rey was an excellent host, her place is so beautiful and I loved sleeping there. The neighbourhood is relaxed and close to the post and our car rental. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked breakfast every day. I’d love to go back, thank you Rey!!! ❤️💖

Such a great stay!! The host is incredibly kind and generous. She picked us up at the ferry terminal and always checked in to make sure everything was fine. She provided clothes hangers, snacks, and even coffee!! All as a gift!! She also arranged the rental of two snorkelling masks, that let us see a beautiful sea turtle at close by Ida beach. Just be mindful of where you’re going: a secluded village of only 40 people only accessible by ferry. This was exactly what we were looking for, and we wish to come back one day!! Thank you!! :)))

It was a great place to stay than I expected.We could see the sea from the living room, and we went out to the terrace for breakfast every day to eat while looking out at the sea.Ishigaki is slower than in Tokyo, so I watched the sea while having a BBQ.The washing machine and dryer were very appreciated for traveling with children. It was a great trip for us who wanted to have a quiet time.I will stay there again!Thank you.😊

This home is so beautiful, wood panels and tatami mats and beautiful hand made dishes! The owner is such a lovely woman, she helped us out so much, made dinner reservations for us (a must on this island!), gave us a lift to a grocery store, picked us up from a local restaurant because it started raining pretty hard-what a genuinely nice and helpful person! It was a delightful stay, thanks in no small part to the owner! Highly recommend!

This is the most memorable Airbnb stay I've ever had. Nagasawa-san accommodated me very last minute and was an exceptional host. I've studied Japanese so we mostly spoke in Japanese the whole time, which was really special for me. He knows everything about Iriomote and is a proactive member of his community, working to restore and sustain Iriomote culture. He took me on a tour of his village and shared so many interesting stories. He also guides hikes, and I joined him on one of his hikes where he also taught us many things about the nature on the island. We talked over a wonderful vegan meal on the last night, and he picked me up from / dropped me off at the nearby Hoshidate bus stop so I was able to travel Iriomote without a car. The space, mere steps away from a beautiful, calm beach, is pristine and I was able to cook for myself in the kitchen. I'm incredibly grateful to him and truly hope to return!

This is a nice place to stay on a beautiful island. The consideration prepared everywhere without any inconvenience during your stay stands out, and most importantly, the house is so pretty! The day and night are so pretty. The host also took care of the feedback quickly and delicately. See you on your next trip!
