Forge Cottage was perfect for our family gathering. The cottage is big inside with large kitchen and long dining room along with a small snug if you wanted to get away from the crowd. Five large comfortable double rooms. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cater. The village has eateries and great pubs if you don’t want to cater! Terry was a great host, helpful and accommodating, pointing us in the right direction of local walks and pubs. The cottage is a great place for dogs despite having no outside space as such. The lane is very quiet and walks from the doorstep. All in all a perfect cottage for a large family gathering. We will be back for the next one !!

Spent good time in Manchester. Good location for walking tours, easy accessible from every place in Manchester.

Grate place feel like your at home and it’s close by to everything you possibly need.

Great place to stay. Easy to get to pubs and restaurants and we managed to do a circular walk into the country side round the town. Easy drive to the peaks for the classic peak district walks too. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 8 old chaps on their annual get together. Can’t recommend highly enough.

A beautiful home decorated to a high standard with lots of amenities and comfy bed for a good night sleep with power showers with a thermostat to make the house as hot or a cool as one required. Lynsey’s communication was instantaneous and she was patient and helpful. As a host I consider Lynsey a super host. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Cute little place in the Peak District. Plenty of walks right from the barn, which was a big plus. Once warmed up, the barn kept being cozy even in a -10-degree snowstorm ¨̮ Internet can be a bit spotty in bad weather, but manageable (even if you have to work—including video calls). The double bed was a bit smaller than expected (120cm). Overall, the apartment was super clean and quiet, and we had a great week.

The house was great value for money, excellently located for accessing Manchester City's Etihad Campus, spacious and well equipped. We stayed for three nights as a group of five attending an event at Manchester City and it was a very easy walk to the campus. The house was exactly as described and photographed with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, easy-to-follow instructions, everything we needed in the kitchen and comfy, cosy lounge and dining areas for socialising. The hosts were very communicative, checking whether we needed anything throughout, and we will certainly stay here again for future events and recommend it to others - particularly groups needing somewhere to stay near Manchester City FC.

Absolutely stunning home, in a wonderful location and very comfortable. Felt like being right at home from the outset, Karl was really helpful and friendly and I’ve never slept so well! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be using again in the future

We had a great stay at Imke's lovely caravan. The place was spotless. We had everything we needed for the week's holiday. No problems at all. We visited Alton Towers and Bakewell, which are about a 30-minute drive. The views around were amazing. Local shops, like M&S, are about a 10-minute drive, which is very convenient.

It was my first time using Airbnb, and Izzy set a standard that others will find hard to beat. The cottage beautiful was well situated and with Izzy’s list of recommendation we had a great time. I’d definitely look to come back!

Had a lovely stay at Julie and Steve’s place, the caravan was clean, cosy well equipped and perfectly situated within the campsite. The swimming pool onsite was lovely and warm and at the time we went not too busy. The area and the scenery is lovely with plenty of local walks but also close enough to Manchester and Blackpool to add variety.

Great Stay at Lorraine’s place. The place matched the description perfectly. Right on the beach. Pool is a great addition also. Would recommend and definitely return.

Great stay at this place. It had everything I needed and lots of childrens toys my little one happily played with. Clean towels included. Lots of space inside. The beds were comfortable and we got a good nights sleep. Staying in winter I thought it might be cold but it was nice and warm. Check in and check out were easy. The host was friendly and replied to any messages quickly. Would stay here again 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

A lovely couple of nights in the caravan. The location is stunning - we loved having coffee in the morning on the terrace watching the sunrise. Caravan was cosy and warm, clean and comfortable. Nice big tv with Netflix etc. Bed was comfy. Within walking distance of Longridge.

What a pleasant and peaceful stay. We stayed in the Farmhouse which had all the amenities necessary for a delightful, restful weekend. The pool access was a highlight that ensured our trip was not only as described but exceeded the expectations. Alongside the quaint aspect of the farmhouse was an honesty shop; charming animals and supporting local establishments. Although the journey was somewhat tricky, the directions were extremely helpful and managed to guide us safely to our destination. Featuring detailed information within the house of the local area. Communication was consistent and clearly organised. Overall, we were soulfully relaxed after our tranquil stay.

This house is wonderful. It has great space for a crowd, in particular the combined kitchen, living room and dining area. It is also very well equipped. Lovely location on the canal so great for dog walks. The host, Darren was super helpful and very responsive. A gem of an Airbnb!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be isolated and go on great walks. The place was immaculate and really well presented. Would certainly be returning. Will be even better once the Stanley Arms pub across the road reopens! One piece of advice is bring some bottled water. The tap water is from a borehole and is UV treated and completely fine to drink. It just tasted a little funny due to its UV treatment.

We have just had a perfect retreat at Michelle’s stunning home. It is a 10 minute walk into the lovely town of Marsden with several good pubs and restaurants and a fantastic gastropub that we visited twice, The Riverhead Brewery Tap. After an exciting time in town at a friends wedding we went back to peace and quiet a very short walk away. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The kitchen is very well equipped and the house was spotless. There is a handy parking ramp adjacent to the house with a gate, if you are precious about your wheels, and a private garden out the back which is a perfect sun-trap if you need some fresh air after a long drive. Also, there is a very good, powerful shower on the first floor which was perfect to revive ourselves before a night on the town. We arrived to find milk in the fridge for much needed cups of tea and crumpets, butter and jam for breakfast which felt like a treat. We will happily return.

The apartment was absolutely top-notch! Everything was amazing, from the stylish interior to the perfect location. The services were outstanding, and I felt completely secure the entire time. A great flat in an unbeatable location. Communications were also great both beforehand and during our stay when there was a minor issue with the heating. We were able to both the owner as he was part way through his park run to talk us through how to resolve it! Thoroughly recommend. Ian
