Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Wyandotte County

A hidden gem in KC! We wanted to be in the city, but not in the craziness of it. This rental is in a peaceful neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance and yet it was easy to drive or Uber over to other parts of KC. The apartment is spacious, clean, nicely decorated, bright and inviting. This old house had charm with all of the desired modern amenities. All basic bathroom amenities were well stocked (soap shampoo, hair dry, etc). Our hosts provided some snacks and beverages to welcome us in. While the kitchen does not have an oven/stove, the induction burner and microwave were more than enough to allow us to fix breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The tea and coffee provide were greatly appreciated. Our hosts were extremely responsive to all messages and very clear in their communications. I definitely recommend staying there and hope to go back again.

Whenever we come to visit family, we always appreciate a home away from home where we can rest and relax. Fred's home was just right! The rooms are large, clean and airy. The dining room table is full-sized and perfect for a meal at home or playing games and the kitchen is quite large. We love having two bedrooms, since the grandkids like to have a sleepover with Grandma and Grampy during our stay. Two full baths is also a plus. Each room has its own heat controls which allows you to keep the living area cozy, but have it cooler for sleeping. Although the apartment is on the second floor, the staircase is well constructed with motion-activated lighting. Parking is private and off street and, even though you are very close to downtown OP with lots of restaurants and activity, it is very quiet. We will definitely stay here again if availability matches our travel schedule.

The house was so cozy and comfortable. Jasmine was very accommodating with us booking an extra night, and very responsive. The home was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The beds are to die for, extremely comfortable. Probably my favorite thing about the home is the beds. The only downside to the home is the hot water does not last long, so don’t plan on taking longer showers. 10/10 recommend

We had a great stay in KC! The place was much larger than I had imagined from the pictures so that was a nice surprise! Don’t be deterred by their grumpy neighbor with the “short term rentals suck” sign planted in his yard, we passed by him and he left us alone. We’d definitely stay here again!

My parents who were visiting town from out of the country stayed here for two weeks. It was the perfect place for them - just a short 10 minute drive from my house with all of the comfort of their own home and in a very peaceful setting surrounded by trees and more trees (but yet right off the highway). Beautiful, peaceful, clean, just a great place overall. Also, I let my parents borrow my electric car and Jodi and Brandon quickly facilitated a great way of charging the vehicle overnight. Very much appreciated. Great place to stay, we all loved it. Next time they come back, we'll try to book this again!

This airbnb was charming! A great place to stay in and hang out with your companions or homebase for exploring the city. Lots to do nearby and super clean!

Don't judge a book by its cover!!! The outside could use a good clean up, some landscaping and a power wash. But the inside is cozy and charming!!! Lots of room for our group of 7 to sit around and relax! Plus, it's a really old house, with unique character. Not all of us slept good as some of the beds were rough, but everyone sleeps different. We just put air mattresses on top two of the beds for the second night. That is my only complaint about the house!!! The area has so many places to eat, all within walking distance. Along with a lot of other places and things to do. Just a short drive to downtown Kansas City too. I definitely will be booking again when we come back in a few months!

Adrienne’s place was fantastic! Great location, central to surrounding areas and easy to get in and out of. It was in a quiet neighborhood where we felt safe. The house was roomy, beds were comfortable and pillows plenty! I would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again when in the area.

I’ve never had such a WONDERFUL Airbnb experience! Truly, this was the best experience I’ve ever had on this app. Michelle was a magnificent host! She gave us recommendations, an early check in time, and she responded so quickly to everything! Check in was easy, and the house is GORGEOUS! It’s so whimsical and cute! The next time I stay in Kansas City, I’ll be booking here again! I can’t recommend it enough!!

This was a nice Airbnb. I especially liked how we had parking off of the street. The place was very comfy and we were close to everywhere we wanted to visit.

A group of friends and I chose this place for our weekend getaway to KC. The location and neighborhood were great! The neighborhood was quiet. There are tons of shops and stores nearby. It was a quick drive to KC. The house is spectacular! Tons of fun art, clean rooms, comfortable beds and an amazingly stocked kitchen. Melissa thought of everything when setting up her space! The space provided us room to be together and still have private space when we weren't hanging out. We loved it!!!

Very clean, flexible, and the hospitality was awesome! After long days out and about the beds were very comfortable! Did not bring the littles this trip but if I would have it is VERY kid friendly including retractable baby gates on stairs! Would stay here again!

We have stayed here multiple times and will continue to. The location is perfect, the place is so cute while also being functional and has a luxurious jet bathtub, and the people are so accommodating and easy to work with!

The space is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Lots of restaurants in the area that were interesting. Easy access to the highway. I would highly recommend this airbnb! My only callouts which are more informational than anything - the stairs to get to the unit are a bit narrow and there's quite a few of them. This made lugging my 50 lb suitcase up the stairs a challenge - so moral of the story is don't pack like me. Also, we were able to find parking but the parking across the street has time limitations that mean you'd have to move your car early in the morning.

Cozy condo, quiet location, corner unit, top floor. I would stay there again.

This is a great spot for the location and home itself. The house has everything you need and the beds were comfortable. Everything you could want is within a 5 minute walk of this place, so if you're looking for a perfectly located house, this is it.
