Our stay was so relaxing, beautiful location with a lot of activity options. A lot of lovely wildlife visiting and easy boat access. The house was very comfortable for 8 guests, both inside and out. The lake side area was very comfortable, shady and a lot of seating which made the days extra relaxing. Quiet and private.

We've been travelling around Australia for 3 months and feel this was our favorite place to stay in all of our time here. The home was stunning. Very comfortable and private, it was all you could ask for and more. It was a mere 185 steps to the beach (it was right across the street!) and just a few blocks away on the same street were some amazing restaurants, cafes and shops. They were easily accessible but far enough away that you couldn't hear any music or noise. In fact, the only thing we could hear from the house was the wind blowing through the trees or birds chirping. The home was stunning, modern, pristine and Deborah was a fantastic host. It really couldn't have been better and it was difficult to leave.

Cassi is a wonderful host with a wonderful place! She was friendly in communication and answered my random questions regarding coffee machines. She kept me up to date and was super helpful. The place is stunning - perfect location on the lake, close to the main village for a coffee and friendly locals, the house beautiful inside and out - we spent many hours on the back deck enjoying the view, sharing meals and playing card games or under the deck playing ping pong. Perfect weather for sight seeing and even when it rained (Cassi can’t help the weather!!), we didn’t feel cooped up -we were able to sit on the deck without getting wet. Beautifully presented and allowing for relaxed living and quality time with friends and family. Well appointed kitchen with plenty of appliances and kitchenware that we had everything we needed. Will 100% be back!

This place is peaceful, private and perfectly equipped. Fantastic place for families where everyone likes their own space too. Pictures don't do it justice, the views are breathtaking and lots of spaces to enjoy! Highly recommended. Paronella Park visiting being do close was just the cherry on top! Beautiful little flat and a beautiful part of the city. The resident wildlife was nice and it was the perfect place for us while we found a home of our own. We really enjoyed our stay at Birdwatchers Oasis. The accomodation was very clean and had everything we needed to cook our own meals during our stay. We had daily visits from the Cassowary and 1 of his chicks which was a highlight. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and listening to the forrest. Dennis even jump started our car when we had a flat battery. Thanks for the stay!

Do yourself a favour and stay here. The apartment is perfectly located. It’s a stone’s throw away from the shops at Cairns Central and it’s easily walkable to the esplanade. The kitchen is well equipped for whipping up meals but there are plenty of restaurants closeby too. The view from the balcony is one of the draw cards. You can see the activity on the street and the water beyond. Mary and Tammy are responsive and lovely hosts. They provide clear communication and directions. We loved our stay and you will too.

Jade was an absolutely amazing host - incredibly helpful and accommodating. Always responded quickly and allowed us to rearrange our check in and check out times to fit with our flights. The house is in a beautiful, peaceful neighbourhood, and only a few minutes walk away from the shops and right next to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of five with three kids who range from 6-11yo. Nicola’s property had everything we needed to enjoy the first few days of our trip to Australia. We cooked daily and the house was equipped for everything we needed. Beach access was literally in the back yard. Nicola was an outstanding host and communicated every step along the way. Stayed in with 4 adults, and it was just the room size we wanted. Private bedrooms and a big kitchen and living to share with the group was excellent. And we were super lucky to be able to see the New Years fireworks from the port at our room balconly. Additionally, great access to the city center and at the port. If you are planning to experience the marine activities from the port, this is the exact place you should be based in since it's just a 5-10 minutes walk up there.

It is a lovely spacious apartment on the second floor, everything clean and well equipped with utensils. Large covered balcony. Lovely large beds with good mattresses, nice shower. Everything sparkling clean and freshly painted. No noise nuisance in building. Walking distance from the beach and city. The town has a beautiful big free public swimming pool. Restaurant Noa in Edge Hill is recommendable. Two small downsides: there is no elevator and the apartment is in the extension of the airport, causing some noise nuisance, especially in the morning (no night flights). Leanne and Steve are very accommodating and friendly hosts. We would definitely come back back.

Beautiful rainforest setting with lawns leading to a creek with forest to the top of a 400m mountain sometimes lost in the clouds. Lots of birds including a cassowary. Kangaroos grazing in a roo paradise. Short drive to a long pristine beach. Rainforest creek swimming on the property and deeper water 10 mins by car. Very comfortable and well equipped. Caitlin and Martin were friendly and kind.
