House vacation rentals in Wolfe County

A wonderful place to set up for our weeklong stay at the Red! The house and kitchen had everything we needed and was comfortable and roomy enough for everyone. WiFi was generally reliable. The porch/outdoor space was so nice to have and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Carmen was very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

RENT THIS HOUSE!!!! IT was the best my kids 17 and 9 had a blast. its in a hollar which was amazing. wifi is spotty (but your in a hollar) the animales were amazing the house just had an amazing cottage feel but not too small. deff will be back my kids did not want to leave xoxox

Our stay at Julie’s place was absolutely wonderful. The location was private and secluded, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen was outstanding, equipped with all the amenities you could need for cooking and entertaining. The property was picture-perfect, with every beautiful landscapes —ideal for capturing memories. We spent quality time with our close friends, but the space is versatile and would easily accommodate larger families as well. It’s a place we have returned to and would love to return to. Highly recommend for a relaxing and picturesque getaway!

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and being able to share meals together and the close proximity to trails.

Perfect, cozy, had everything we needed, and such a great location! Loved the decorations and history!

What a cute, cozy cabin for two! Amenities were perfect for us for 4 nights - and the missing bathroom door was totally ok for us. Connected easily to streaming services on the TV. We did much more cooking than we initially planned because of the full kitchen. Brought groceries in a cooler on our drive down because there isn't a grocery store close by, just a little gas station. Planned to camp originally but the rain motivated us to book a last minute stay. I loved feeling tucked away in the woods during the downpours, watching movies & reading books while enjoying home-cooked meals. Finding the house was tricky using the address, but Stacy communicated text instructions on how to get there. The address listed on the driveway (different from texted address) is what we used for the rest of our stay and we got there easily after that.

The house was better than expected. The neighbors were very nice, but there were several friendly, loose dogs in the area, so just keep that in mind. The only downside was the lack of parking available. We had 5 Jeeps & a truck with a trailer, so parking was a bit difficult with the ground being so wet & snow covered. The house was great, nice sized kitchen with everything you could need to cook a meal. We ordered pizza one night from The Wicked Wolfe & had it delivered, it was fantastic. Would stay here again, if we had less vehicles.

David and Renee are fabulous hosts. They were communicative and easy to reach from the time we booked to after we left. The house was perfect for our needs with great gathering spaces both inside and outside! We booked to get together with family over the holidays and everyone had the space they needed while also having everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would certainly stay again next time we are in the area!!

A change in plans led us to go out of town for Thanksgiving this year. We were looking for a homey place to celebrate and relax, and loved the proximity of this airbnb to Red River Gorge. It was private and beautiful, and was even nicer than the photos made it look. There was plenty of room, a stocked kitchen (pots and pans and basic spices: salt and pepper etc) that made cooking a simple Thanksgiving dinner easy. We loved the open kitchen/living room space so that we could spend time with family while watching football and cooking. I even took a kayak out on Thanksgiving morning! It was a little chilly while we were there, but imagine the deck and pond would be incredible with warmer temperatures. There were tons of towels, blankets, shower items and a hairdryer. The appliances all worked great. We did a lot of hiking while in the area and Wyatt & Savannah's place was an amazing retreat.

Wonderful and responsive hosts. Helped us with all of our issues and the home and very nice and better than we expected. Definitely recommend them!

Our family had a great time celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was great and close to red river gorge attractions. Sadly the cold weather caused the goats to be moved to their winter home. Sorry to miss the goat fun. Tracy was great to work with from the planning phase and through our stay.

We stayed at the Coyote Cottage for a weeklong climbing trip and had a great time. Check in was easy and the location was central to Muir Valley, Pendergrass, and other climbing areas. We definitely appreciated the hot tub to soak and rest after each day climbing! We would certainly stay here again.

Susan went above and beyond in hosting my wife and I for her 25th birthday get away! She not only greeted us with a brief tour and history of the building with a hand written “Happy Birthday” to my wife on a chalkboard, but provided breakfast every morning, even accommodating our kosher diet. She left two homemade, gourmet cookies with birthday candles in them (how thoughtful)! Every time we texted about something, she responded promptly. The house is an experience in and of itself. We didn’t spend much time out and about for the simple fact that we were so cozy at the cabin, playing pool and watching movies with one another. If you’re looking for a unique experience with all the comfort of any other Airbnb, definitely stay at Emily’s!

Cabin was great for a girls trip (7). Lots of space, kitchen clean and well stocked, hot tub was large and worked well and great communication about directions. arrival and departure. Back deck was amazing and a lot of sitting space to eat. Fire place (electric) added a nice cozy touch. Would definitely stay here again!
