We absolutely loved it here. Beautiful cottage in the stunning old town area, and a five minute walk via leafy avenues to the bars and restaurants. Lynette went out of her way to be helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Would definitely stay again

The place is located in a beautiful area. Close enough to town where there are great restaurants, shops and wine farms, but also a great place to just stay, take in the view and relax. Stephan was very responsive and always available for support.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

Our stay at Alida’s place was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Alida is a fantastic host who truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The space itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home. Everything you could need for a self-catering stay is provided, from a fully equipped kitchen to all the little essentials that make a big difference. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into making this a perfect retreat. We enjoyed the splash pool in the heat and the option to warm it up with a wood fire was amazing. The location is ideal as it’s close to town and all the shops, but secluded enough to enjoy the surrounding nature. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and homely experience. Thank you, Alida, for your outstanding hospitality - we can’t wait to be back.

Perfect place for a long or a short stay. The house is very cozy. We didn't even know about loadshedding with the back up power supply. would go back anyway.

We had a fantastic night at Suzette's place on our way down the Garden Route. Unfortunately electricity in the area was down due a bush fire the previous day. Suzette proactively communicated with us ahead of time and even offered us a cancellation which we declined. Just as well because the house is well set-up and was perfect even without electricity. Her husband arranged an inverter which was sufficient to provide power to light the gas heaters which meant we had warm showers both the evening and the morning and more than enough energy to charge everyone's phones as well. There is more than enough to do in the area and Struisbaai really deserves more than a passing visit. Thanks Suzette

Well decorated and homey space, just a short block off of Route 62 in beautiful Barrydale. Check-in and out are simple, and the place is fully appointed and caringly decorated like a well-loved family vacation home. Great stay!

Enjoyable, restful weekend, with everything you need at the venue. Good views of the river and very quiet.

Sagrada is an exceptional house, the layout is brilliant and the place is in excellent condition. Location is awesome with beautiful views! Colleen was very helpful, all her restaurant suggestions were brilliant, as we tried most of them. She was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. We'll definitely return if we get the chance. Thanks to Georg and Sanet for letting us share in your dream house.

What a brilliant place to stay! Thank you Nina for creating such a peaceful, clean and comfortable home. Everything was clean, tidy and there were ample blankets, soaps and kitchen utensils and cleaning products to make us feel right at home. We stayed there with our 3 kids and it felt so safe...our children even made friends with the neighbours! Nina was easy to talk to and sent through so many local recommendations. We will 100% be visiting again!

Spacious cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 big lounges. Lovely garden area. The house was equipped with everything necessary for a short stay. Warren was always very friendly and helpful, communicating easy. Bredarsdorp itself only has one or two cafés/ restaurants worth it but its a good starting point to explore nature reserves and Cape Agulhas.

Property was close to the harbour. The Harbour restaurant’s food was very good. Braai area was comfortable and easy. 3 weeks went past so quick. House had everything you needed. One thing I can criticize, there was no cleaning services. We had to do everything. Otherwise, awesome holiday.

Really enjoyed our short break. The cottage is bright & spacious & it felt like 'home'. Sarina spoils her guests by providing these little extras which help make it special. Definitely recommend & not just for one night. Lots to do round & about & the cottage is an ideal base to come back to. Thank you Sarina & we hope to return.

Lovely house in a breathtaking location. So much bigger and nicer than the photos! Helana was a great host and on hand. Check-in and out was easy. Great security on the property, felt very safe. Thank you Helana for making us feel right at home!

Beautiful cottage by the lake with all the amenities you need and even more to enjoy your stay and keep yourself entertained even during rainy days; however the gravel road to reach it was slightly problematic but that's nothing the host can fix! Perfect place for families or groups of friends :)

The house is in a peaceful area and walking distance to the lagoon which is awesome. The house has all you need.

Great to stay in a quiet street, the kids could play outside without any worries! Lovely family home and well equipped with all the requirements. River within walking distance and lovely views of the lagoon. Annalie and her team are great hosts!

Great little place. Very neat and kitchen very well equipped. We comfortably stayed there for 20 days with a family of five. Bernice’s communication was spot and assisted us very quickly whenever we needed something sorted out. All and all we can recommend it to other quests.

I rented the guest room in Gila's beautiful home. I felt at home immediately and immersed myself in the surroundings, both inside the artistically decorated home as well the carefully cultivated, lush garden. Whether you rent the entire home or the guest room, your need of rest, peace and reflection will be fulfilled.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful little cottage with everything you need. Dean gave us a very good recommendation for dinner. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks
