House vacation rentals in Withington

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

We had a lovely weekend away at A’s place. The house was easy to find, had good and private parking and was very spacious (bigger than it looks on the photos!). The beds were really comfortable and the living room was super cosy. The kitchen was also great and had every item you would need for self catering. The cleanliness of some of the glasses, plates and pans was not 100% and we did need to hand-wash a few items - I think this could be due to the dishwasher. The pool was great, we visited in January in the snow and were able to swim every day. A was super friendly and informative at check-in and gave us some local recommendations. Thanks for having us!! :)

The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

Our stay had everything and felt as if we’d struck gold with the location and amenities. The house itself is picturesque and stunning but the hot tub, games room, lawn area and sun loungers were all just added bonuses that made a family stay for all ages just perfect. We were very lucky with the weather but even in the rain we would have had just as good a stay. Thank you Nicola. What a find and what a weekend!

great cottage in a fantastic location with Carsington Water in walking distance and a lovely country pub too! Cottage had everything we could have asked for and our host was really helpful when we needed them. Highly recommend :)

What a wonderful host, and magical place. It was such a lovely time, we’ve booked to come again. Mike is a treat, a remarkable character who exudes a warm that makes you feel instantly at home. The barn is full of charm and the chickens, ducks and peacocks a delight (especially if you see them angling for a biscuit from Mike!) The pool is incredible. Perfect for all ages. We’re half visiting again in the hope the kids will be bored of the pool and we’ll be able to get out and explore more… I don’t hold out too much hope on that one. A real gem of a find.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend at The Barn. We had a lovely time celebrating a birthday and Emma leaving happy birthday banners & a bottle of fizz was a lovely touch. It was a shame the pool was cold or we would have definitely have tried that too. The barn was perfect and really cosy! Thank you Emma x

Really lovely home, very short stroll to the village centre which has some great restaurants and shops. Our 16 month old really appreciated playing with the wide variety of children’s books and toys and on the children’s slide & swing in the garden. Would stay again!

We had a lovely stay. The house looks just like the pictures and had plenty of space for all of us. The location is great for getting into central Manchester, and Jordan and Tate were responsive and helpful throughout. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is only one bathroom, but this was clearly mentioned in the listing, so we were prepared. Overall, a very nice stay. Thank you!

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic. The home is wonderfully spacious with a lovely layout that made it feel both welcoming and functional. Situated on a quiet street, it offered the perfect retreat for relaxation. The bedding was impeccable, smelling fresh and clean, which added to the comfort of the stay. We had a fantastic weekend staying in this property. We were attending a football match at the Etihad and it was a short 10 minute walk from the house. Absolutely perfect for what we wanted, would 100% book in here again if we ever return to watch Man City in the future.

Thanks for a lovely stay in your home Linda, it was in easy reach by public transport or car to the city centre of Manchester so ideal for what we needed. House was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The variety of fruit teas, coffees etc was a lovely touch. Beds and pillows were comfy and the shower was good. The garden was private and secure (although sadly the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy it this time!). Thanks again

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, cosy, and just like the photos. It’s in a quiet and peaceful area, which was exactly what I was looking for. If you’re going to the arena, it’s only a 10-minute drive really convenient. The best part was the bar the host has it’s really, really nice and adds a unique touch to the stay. Everything was reasonably priced too. The host was friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend!
