Andy is a fantastic host, suggested local hotspots, promptly replied to emails and had even supplied a local ground coffee for breakfast which was really thoughtful. We are hoping to go back again soon.

Our stay at Wetley Cottage was fantastic! The place has obviously been designed with care and thought in every detail! One of the most well stocked places I’ve ever stayed with everything you could possibly need! The whole cottage was very homely, cosy and comfortable. The outdoor areas had so many different options to sit and relax! Shetland ponies were an adorable bonus! Louise was so lovely and helpful! Even coming to tell us that the Northern Lights were visible! Plus many other super local recommendations! The place was private at the end of a lane. The surrounding nature was superb, we heard owls and saw many other interesting birds. I would recommend Wetley Cottage to all! Perfect in Winter and I imagine just as wonderful all year round!

Andy & Harriet were excellent hosts. The accommodation was exactly as described and like the photos, and they were very responsive to some questions we had ahead of time. Really good communications provided about checking in and out. The location was perfect - right inside the city walls, close to everything but down a quiet street and parking was easy.

Would highly recommend, perfect for a family weekend away. The hot tub was a great bonus and the games room was a massive hit with the children. The cottage was nice and warm on arrival, it was clean and the beds were super comfy. Bedding was good quality too!! Tifferny was lovely, very informative and quick at responding. The location was nice, quiet little village, had lunch at the Hesketh Arms which was delicious and had a nice walk around the park.

A home from home with the luxury of a hot tub! The older 5 loved the pool table and table tennis. Hot tub was on 40 ready for us, ph was a little off but it didn't bother our 3 girls! One of the babies loved running the full length of the house. We did have to move the coffee table as it was a bit of a hazard for him but easily moved back again as it had wheels. Towels were lovely and fluffy, Lisa arranged for a high chair and travel cot which helped massively and allowed us an earlier check in too. For 2 nights for us all it was a little on the expensive side but we'd definitely consider coming back again! Thank you Lisa and team ☺️💜

We had a wonderful long weekend stay in this lovely house with our family of ten of all ages. There was so much to do, everyone was kept happy. The weather was icy cold but dry for our whole stay. The house was nice and warm on our arrival, a big comfort on a cold day, we felt at home straight away. We made good use of the hot tub straight away as it was hot and ready to use when we arrived. The garden was huge, our dog loved it. In warmer weather we would have made more use of the outdoor facilities of which there were many. We did manage a game of table tennis on our last day, when the top was clear of frost. Our whole family wished they could have stayed the week. We would definitely recommend this house.

Great location, nice and quiet area but very close to the centre of Manchester to get to all the attractions.

Great find. Beautiful and clean and did us right fine and proud. Kitchen was really well equipped and spacious. Rooms were all really light and comfy. Absolutely lovely gaff. Thanks for having us.

Lovely location, beautiful inside. Everything you need for a night away, stunning views, lovely and peaceful and private. Would highly recommend and defo use again if near that way. Louise was a lovely person and very helpful with questions
