Vacation rentals in Windmill Island

It worked out great for our bachelor party weekend, house had plenty of space for the 16 us. Beds were comfortable everything was clean. Backyard was awesome

This would be a perfect place to stay during beach season. Excellent location and awesome amenities. Hot tub worked. The bicycles and beach stuff would have been fun to use. Clean and plenty of space for our family to gather.

Jo was a wonderful host, and her Airbnb was an amazing find. We have young children, and it was a great benefit to be able to stay in such an accessible location. Downtown South Haven has a trove of restaurants and shops, and was only a block away. The beach was a five-minute walk, if that. Lastly, for being in such a central location, Jo’s place still felt private and peaceful. The house is beautiful and very well-kept. Kitchen was extremely well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. One of our favorite things was having coffee on the back patio and taking in the lovely views of Lake Michigan and the marina. We were so glad to have found this rental, and made many great memories!

This home is nice. Has 4 bedrooms, kitchen, nice back yard with fire pit. You can walk into downtown which we did one day but it is as easy to drive. he has a nice wagon you could use for the beach that folds up. one bedroom on first floor with king bed. one bathroom/shower on first floor with same rook as laundry. upstairs has three bedrooms. two with king beds and one with two full size bunk beds. one bathroom with bath upstairs. dining room table easily seats 8. huge tv on main level

We came in for a wedding and stayed here with three couples. The house was a perfect spot for us being close to both the venue and very easy to get downtown. The house itself feels very new and has plenty of room for all. The first floor is also a great area to hang out. We didn’t take advantage of the amenities in the neighborhood like the pool but they are easily walkable and available. Matt is also very proactive and responsive. We had a couple questions when we first arrived and had feedback and what we needed very quickly after. If we come back to South Haven we will definitely be looking to see if this is available!

I really enjoyed this location and cabin. We came for my birthday and one of the main reasons we picked this place was privacy, nature, and using the hot tub. Some tips for folks renting this space that would have been helpful to have a heads up on: - don’t trust gps the first time you get there when you get to the private drive follow the written directions. - it was icy and no visible cleared path or a bucket with salt near where we parked our vehicles. - the heating system is super loud and for folks that have sensory issues with noise might want to bring ear plugs. - it’s a cabin and a bit drafty so wear warm clothes in the winter! - we accidentally tripped the hot tub electrical when I increased the temperature to a reasonable temp of 104 because it’s always at 99 degrees. So we couldn’t use jets or increase temp. - host was very responsive and supportive, my fault for not communicating sooner about the hot tub and he sent something a guest left behind. Overall a good trip!
