Cabin vacation rentals in Winchester

We loved staying here for a long weekend to celebrate my brother's birthday. The manager, Christy, was great to work with. We enjoyed the hot tub and grilling steaks at the stone and hiking nearby. Definitely planning to come back to this spot at some point for more!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home! Host was accommodating and quick to reply.

First of all Shelia was there to let us in and show us around to make sure she answered all of our questions and knew where everything was. Shelia is so kind and her cabin was so beautiful and cozy. The surprise was having coffee in the morning at the end of the little trail in the back. My kids had a blast blazing a trail though the dry creek bed and s'mores by the fire. The cabin has a surprise around every corner. Wonderful place to vacation.

Our family of 5 loved staying at Amazing Grace! The location on the water was absolutely perfect and peaceful. My kids, 9, 6, and 4, spent hours skipping rocks as we watched from the deck. The king and queen beds were some of the most comfy we've ever slept in on a trip. The kids loved the loft area. The nearby hikes were gorgeous and we loved coming back to grill out and have some hot tub time! We will be back!

Michael's A-Frame was a beautiful place for us to stay on our honeymoon:) we stayed for 1 week and everything was perfect, the hot tub was great and private, the big glass front was beautiful and let in so much sunshine without getting in our eyes too much, the record player and decor was very aesthetic and was exactly the type of place we wanted to be able to relax at:) it was very safe, the back door automatically locked and the front sliding glass doors locked easily, so safety amd security was never an issue for us. Michael was very informative with all the information necessary for our stay, and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns:) I would definitely recommend staying here

We stayed at Hudson's cabin for a weekend guys' trip. The views were spectacular and the cabin was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. Would recommend staying here.

Nice place. Not as private as expected. 50 yards off a fairly busy road! Heard more trucks and off road vehicles than I did nature. Has an amazing little hit tub if you don’t mind the neighbors and the owners of the property watching every single move you make. I believe in security but they got a camera on you every way you can think of one even points inside the cabin from the porch. So stay aware you are being watched when all you wanted was a peaceful weekend. Who can relax when you have at least 5 cameras pointed at you at all time

This mountain retreat is the perfect place to go with friends or family. You have areas to gather together and spend time by the fire or grilling and have an amazing view of the mountains, while still having your privacy. Each unit has its own bathroom and different sleeping arrangements. It is so magical and serene, the pictures do not do it justice.

Very off grid, but that was perfect for what we were looking for. Nick was super friendly and had great recommendations for food and activities around the area. Highly recommend if youre looking to unplug or escape the city!

A perfect retreat for my wife, our daughter, and me after the Thanksgiving rush. So homey, peaceful, and quiet, with just the right amount of kitsch. Comfy beds, beautiful setting, cozy furnishings, everything we needed to unwind. This unit is a surprisingly roomy two bedroom (king bed and bunk beds) with a full bath and spacious living room/kitchen combo. We’d love to come back when it’s warm enough to be outside, but the 20 degree temps kept us inside and toasty, watching tv, playing games, reading, etc. We highly recommend!

The cabin was just as advertised. The Broken Banjo campground is clean, very walkable, and has showers and restrooms within short distance of the cabins. The bathroom at Cabins 5 and 6 share a bathroom which is nice, because only two cabins share the restroom, though a few RVers wandered in them every once in a while. The park is right off the highway, so not totally serene or peaceful, but the further into the park, the quieter it became. There’s a play area for kids, dogs and adults too! It was nice that there’s a Starbucks down the street and other restaurants and retail shops like Walmart in case you need to pick something up. We arrived very late, around 10pm and our envelope with instructions awaited us. Easy check in process, even though our messages on AirBnB app weren’t answered, it’s all good. We love the decor and overall retro theme, thanks for having us!! Would definitely return!

This was a great get away. if you are coming into town for Sweetens Cove, this is only 30 mins away.

Absolutely fabulous spot. Very comfortable home. Private nice inside and out. Loved the property and could have easily settled in for a long time. Pretty good ride to a grocery store but not horrible. A few minor maintenance issues that I am sure will be resolved. Refrigerator failed just before we got there but an adequate replacement was provided prior to our arrival. Hope to return again!

This cabin was absolutely amazing!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The back porch was where we spent the majority of the time. We loved how quiet and secluded we felt. Tim left really great instructions and was very open and honest.

3 Bedrooms plus loft beds and 3 baths made this a great weekend stay for 3 couples and a single. the walk way outside is uneven rock and the stairs inside were larger spaced steps.

We had an amazing time at Jacob’s Airbnb. We brought along our toddlers and two small dogs- it was the perfect place to relax as a family. The gated and fenced back yard made the stay worry free with pets and children. Views were amazing and the house was very clean. Highly recommend- we will be back!

I had a WONDERFUL time at the Cabin Sweet Cabin! Location is perfect if you like peace, serenity and a chance to experience the wonders of nature. I did a lot of hiking to see the nearby falls, which were breathtaking! I found out that there is a paved bike trail nearby. too. Can’t wait to come back with my bike and explore on two wheels!

Great Place!!

My friends and I spent the weekend at this cabin for a writing retreat, and it was the perfect creative escape. The peaceful setting made it easy to focus, while the nearby hiking trails provided a great way to clear our minds. When we needed a break, Mountain Goat Market was just down the road with delicious food. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay!! The place is easy to find and feels very quiet and peaceful in nature, I wish we could've stayed a whole week. There are other houses in the area but they are not too close so you have space and it still feels private (just not 100% "in the middle of nowhere" private - we were also here in the winter with no leaves on the trees inbetween). As others mentioned, the stairs going up to the bathroom/bedrooms is more like a ladder so important to keep in mind if you have mobility issues, but we had no problem navigating them. Our dog stayed downstairs and had tons of fun running around outside. There's also some fantastic hikes in the area!! Can't wait to come back again when the weather is warmer to take full advantage of the dock/lake. Thanks for a wonderful weekend away!

Such a darling cabin! It was perfect for our stay and 10 min door to door to University of the South. There were so many nice touches @ the cabin - snacks in kitchen, coffee stocked, great bathroom amenities, comfortable bed, etc! We loved it and will be back. Thank you, Amy!

Kimberly‘s place was great. There is a lot of space down by the lake and we were able to let our pets run around and enjoy the beautiful setting. The cabin was clean and had everything you would want to ensure you have a great stay. I look forward to coming back soon!

Tom and Jennifer's cabin is truly amazing, this is the second time I've stayed at their place!! The house is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need while away from home! My family enjoyed the game room, and my son absolutely loved the slide! Tom and Jennifer are extremely nice and quick to respond to anything you might need! Could not ask for better hosts! We will definitely be back!

Extremely friendly hosts that met us at check in and gave us the grand tour with lots of suggestions for restaurants and activities. The property is gorgeous and you can hear the waterfall standing on the porch. The cabin is beautifully decorated and cozy with a comfortable bed and a to-die-for shower! Nearby Foster's Falls was our favorite hike but there are so many more we want to come back and do. My husband says this is his favorite cabin we've ever stayed at, so we will definitely be back.
