The Bamboo House is a great place for a family getaway or small group of friends. Very private with a lovely garden, and filtered water views. The lounge room in the morning was beautifully sunny! Anita was very helpful with excellent instructions our stay. Corner shops nearby and a short drive to lakes and beaches.

Great peaceful location. Close to Hunter Valley gardens and wineries. Perfect accommodation for large families. Young Nephews loved the supply of toys! Would highly recommend and stay there again!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful accommodation. The property was absolutely pristine, with every detail thoughtfully considered. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Genina, who was incredibly friendly and provided us with fantastic recommendations for local activities and dining. We also loved the thoughtful welcome pack, which included wine, beer, and chocolates (which the kids couldn't get enough of 😂). The location is unbeatable - waterfront with direct access to the lake, and a nearby beach and jetty just a short walk away. The outdoor space was perfect for our family, with plenty of grass to play cricket and let the kids run around. The deck was a true highlight, offering a peaceful spot to relax with a glass of wine, read a book, or enjoy a family dinner while taking in the stunning views. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Such a gorgeous little cottage. Spacious and well decorated, you feel so comfortable from the moment you walk in. It has everything you need, the backyard is perfect for pooches and the located is walkable to local cafes. 12 minutes from wineries it was such a great place for our weekend away for a concert.

We stayed here for 4 weeks while waiting for our house to be ready, and we couldn’t recommend this place enough! Ledavay was incredibly accommodating with the booking process, which we really appreciated. The space itself is PERFECT for a long stay—comfortable, homely, and far more inviting than a hotel. Being pet-friendly was a huge bonus, as it allowed us to have our pets with us during our stay. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, but they also respect your privacy and never intrude. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend it! ✨

Lovely location and close to beaches and amenities, parking was a challenge but Joanne provided a permit which was very helpful. Home is slightly older but well presented and comfortable

We loved our stay - the location was unbeatable. A short stroll to the beach, baths and eateries. The apartment had everything for a comfortable stay - we really appreciated the beach towels and parking permit. Will definitely be back.

What a spectacular place. Fantastic location, very spacious apartment, and wonderful hosts. The hosts added air conditioning throughout the apartment during our stay and that only made it better! We will most definitely return.

We had the most amazing weekend at Donna’s place, Turtles. The apartment was clean, well- equipped, spacious, light and bright. The location was perfect for beach access and lovely panoramic views. Donna was polite and friendly in all interactions, responding quickly and providing detailed instructions. We will most definitely be returning to Turtles at Caves Beach, thanks so much Donna!!

We had an amazing stay at Steve's place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to all the local attractions. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome chocolate and local recommendations. The communication with Steve was excellent from start to finish. He was responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and we would love to stay here again!

Bianca's place is very comfortable, super clean, very colourful and interesting decor and in a good location. I really enjoyed my stay there and appreciated the aircon on days which were in the mid to high 30s. I had a lovely stay.

I can only really echo all the other reviews - this spacious warehouse conversion is in such a great spot...this is our 4th Newcastle summer holiday and the best location yet. Close to beaches, the breakwater/lighthouse, light rail, city - it was SO nice not to use the car. Very spacious for a family of 4, nice aircon and bedding, beautiful furniture and all the technology. As an architect I read every book and magazine too :) thanks Amanda. I hope we'll come back.
