Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Gillian is an incredible host so friendly and welcoming,the lodge is immaculate with everything you would expect from the pictures with lovely little touches and added extras. Cleaned to a very high standard, lovely and cosy, recommendation book with local places to dine although more than adequate kitchen facilities again with everything you need to cook from scratch above and beyond anywhere I’ve stayed self catering before. Hot tub added bonus, beautiful views and so peaceful. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Gillian for such an amazing time!

Janie's place is truly lovely. Janie and Terry are the most thoughtful and caring hosts - from the house lit and warm for us plus the cream tea and other goodies for our arrival to checking that we had enough wood (it was a cold spell) during our stay. The photos don't do it justice - the rooms are much more spacious than expected. The kitchen is well-stocked - how lovely to go to an Airbnb and find the basic food items. The property gets toasty-warm with the wood burner and it is very quiet - we slept SO well! It is in a good location for beaches and sites and communication was excellent throughout. Don't hesitate to go - we most certainly will return. You provide honest, traditional good service Janie and Terry - thank you.

We stayed at The Old Egg Shed over Christmas and Jo had added some Christmas touches which was lovely. It was quiet and what we needed!

A really lovely stay! We was lucky the first night as it was dry so we got to make use of the hot tub! And in the daytime but the second night the weather was awful but the cottage felt really cosy and peaceful. Would stay again!

The place was very clean and laid out everything was easy to use it was in a very good location for getting to places 10 minute drive to beach and restaurants the host was very helpful and polite we had a great time staying there

A beautiful location for a wild, secluded getaway with superb views out over the ocean. The apartment is comfortable and tastefully appointed with all that a visit requires. Comfortable bed. Comfortable furnishings. Good well appointed kitchen facility. Would certainly stay again.

Sam and Lisa were amazing hosts.. we booked on the day of arrival and nothing was too much trouble.. completely secure large garden which my kiddies and pup loved running around in.. bbq and lots of outdoor furniture provided.Outside lighting was great as meant we could continue to sit outside.. we had the best stay and would definitely return
