Mirrorsands, what a place! Worth every pound spent. We stayed at Gary’s place whilst our house was being rewired, Gary was a great host and the house was just perfect in design, layout and access to everything you need. It’s amazing location, no more than a few mins walk from an amazing beach is quite special. Get up, head down there for sunrise it’s fantastic. Gary’s place had everything we needed and more, Google technology for auto lights and music was brilliant with 3 kids who forget to turn lights off! Definitely recommend Gary’s place to anyone looking for a home from home experience. ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The apartment was perfect for our family get together in south shields. We were a party of 5 (and a small dog) and we all felt right at home in Sandy’s place. The flat is very spacious with fantastic views. The table in the living space was big enough for our family who live locally to join us for a meal together with plenty of room to spare. The apartment was much bigger than we had anticipated which was a lovely surprise. The apartment was conveniently located just minutes from a good pub and lots of good places to eat. We would recommend the foot passenger ferry over to north shields to explore the Tynemouth market in the railway station at the weekends.

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful cottage, which has miles of sandy beach on the doorstep. Enjoyed having morning coffees on the bench watching the sunrise and cosy evenings by the fire. The cottage was always warm and the fire was used for cosiness rather than need for heat. Nice layout making it ideal to spend time with family. A real chill out week in a lovely location. Great communication with hosts. Would love to return!

A smart, stylish, well appointed, immaculate and very comfortable house in which to stay with plentiful heating, hot water and splendid view across the beach of Newbiggin. Nancy was keen to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and provided all that we needed.

This was our second stay at Victoria's caravan and it won't be our last. It's the perfect quiet getaway for a few nights of relaxation. The Caravan was clean, spacious and offered a welcoming cosy space just a stones throw away from some stunning beaches. The only downside for some might be that phone signal is terrible and the park wifi doesn't really work, however this didn't bother us too much as it's a great chance to get offline and reconnect. We played board games, enjoyed walks along the beach with our spaniel and got up early to watch the sun rise over the sea - what a view! We had a lovely weekend and can't wait to plan our next stay!

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

David is a very nice person who hosted us like family. There were even small gifts for the children, which made them very happy. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures—pleasant and clean, just like home. I recommend him with a clear conscience.

Great spot to stay with a young family. Beach access,, beautiful sunrises viewed from the cabin. also close by are Northumberland zoo and a few lighthouses dotted along the coast.

we just came back from our 3 nights stay at Simon's place and it was fantastic we took our 2 kids,my MIL and my Mother with us and they all loved this caravan. we spent most our time sitting outside in the verandah watching sunsets and sunrise ,the views were beautiful from our caravan we would love to stay at Simon's place again

highly recommend staying at sandy bay lodge . the setting is beautiful, the plot is peaceful but not isolated . you can join in the hustle and bustle of park life or enjoy a relaxing break . the lodge itself is immaculate, great size with all the amenities of home . the pictures are very true to life . Anne was great at answering any questions and replies promptly , the I structures before arriving are easy to follow . she also left a beautiful welcome basket which the kids quickly tucked into . if you're umming and ahing just go for it you won't be dissapointed

We really liked the place and it was perfect as a peaceful rest stop for the night. We would have happily stayed longer if we’d had the time. The view from the front window is lovely and if there was a chair there I’d have parked myself there for hours I think.

Had a great week at Ryan’s place Very clean and comfortable peaceful place Comfortable beds great shower. Everything within a couple of minutes walk restaurants bars everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay, great amenities, very homely. Decent location, with plenty of parking. Some really nice touches like basic shopping already there when we arrived. No complaints!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb and the location and cost feel certainly surpassed expectations! The nearest pub (which serves delicious food and doesn’t cause a disturbance at night) is a stone’s throw away. You can see the sea and the beach is a short walk. It was blissful to sit on the sofa at night with the sliding doors open and feel the sea’s breeze. The house had everything we needed and we were would definitely recommend!

This Airbnb is in perfect location A stones throw from beach and main area for restaurants and cafes We had an amazing stay and Tony was very helpful and accommodating. I would really recommend staying here

Feeling so serene after a gorgeous stay at The Basement. We loved the town and had an amazing breakfast at Woods Coffee, and great meals and drinks down at the Riley’s Fish Shack. The place is right by the sea with amazing walks nearby. We found we spent a lot of time in the Airbnb just enjoying the space and taking long baths. Would love to visit again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful three night stay at Annette’s house. Beautifully presented and in a great location. Annette was very helpful, and responded quickly to any questions that we had. I would recommend this residence to anyone looking for a relaxing break on the north east coast.
