Pet-friendly vacation rentals in White Salmon River

This is a beautiful, well-stocked house just a block from the main thoroughfare in White Salmon. Very roomy with comfortable beds and tons to do in the area.

My family of 4 (2 kids, 2 adults) and dogs stayed here for almost two weeks while we waited for our house to be ready nearby. I could not have asked for a more perfect home to settle in. We all felt very much at home. Every amenity we needed was already there. The beds were really, REALLY comfy. There was plenty of space for us all to watch movies at night and enough space that we didn’t feel on top of each other. The backyard and back deck are massive. My dogs had a great time. The neighborhood is peaceful and nice and safe to walk through. It’s also close to everything we needed (grocery store, restaurants,…). I would stay here again and again. 5 star host as well!

Kevin and Lisa’s place was in a very walkable location close to everything in downtown White Salmon. The property is cozy and well loved. It was clear it’s lived in versus being a more sterile rental property. We appreciated the communication with the hosts. They were always friendly and provided helpful instructions along the way. Bed was comfy, getting hot water was not an issue, and we had a relaxing stay which was just what we needed. Thank you!

A lovely view and property. Right on the river with all you could ever want. We came for Christmas and it was a lovely way to spend it. The kitchen was fully stocked and we made multiple excellent meals. A great getaway, highly recommended.

Great location! Private for one’s own peace of mind. Serene and very quiet. Relaxing wasn’t a problem and plenty of space to let the doggies roam and play. Loved this place definitely going to try to make it next year!

We loved our Christmas stay in Alisha's cute home! We were grateful to be able to bring our pups and cook in the kitchen. There was plenty of space, a yard for the dogs, and easy parking. Alisha let us check-in early and messaged to confirm our entry which was appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at the Crystal cabin. My family loved it. All the beds were comfortable and we loved the hot tub. We cooked a bunch of meals in the kitchen without issues. Everyone loved the cozy fireplace. It’s hard to find good places to rent as a family but this was our favorite so far.

We stayed a weekend with two kids, a toddler, and a 45lb dog. We were right at home in this adorable cabin. There was plenty of extra blankets, the heat worked very well. The downstairs floor is cold so house shoes are a good idea. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the upstairs futon room with the ladder. There was lots of cool kids' books, puzzles and games. There was also dog food bowls which was a great touch. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was quite clean. This is the first AirBnB I've stayed at with zero passive-aggressive hand written notes, so that was a nice surprise! There are neighbors close by as mentioned in the listing but it's still a lovely location with beautiful trees and you can hear the river.

We had a fantastic stay at Alice’s house! The location was amazing. The neighborhood was so serene and beautiful. The house was very modern and sooo cozy. It instantly felt like home. We didn’t want to leave! Alice was super kind and responsive. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an amazing stay! The house was very clean and accommodated 6 people easily. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long hike. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cookware and utensils you can think of! The location is in close proximity of all that Mt. Hood has to offer. We will be returning to this house again! Oh and the beds were SUPER comfy!!

Our fourth visit and we lived in even more. Great location and amenities. Very comfortable home to relax in. Perfect balance of seclusion and safety. Very quiet neighborhood.

We had our families visiting from out of state and had a lovely Christmas week at the cabin! The kitchen was well stocked with basic amenities and a grocery store was nearby for any additional needs. The living room and dining room was spacious and we had a lovely time playing board games and watching movies. The bedrooms were very comfortable and easily accommodated our group of 7 with room for one more

The space is lovely and the sauna is a huge plus. I'm not sure where the complaints about privacy are coming from, the unit is about as far away as you'd expect neighbors to be and the shades are easy to use.

Cute, comfortable and very new room. The bed is comfy for one. Better than a hotel. Nice yard and a white noise machine is included in case you need it.

wanted to take a weekend trip to visit mount hood national forest and this was the perfect place to stay! close enough to town but out in the country enough to feel secluded and very close to mount hood. we relaxed by the fire pit each night after hiking and listened to the animals of the forest. an absolutely perfect relaxing getaway

This place is awesome! The hot tub was great. The pellet stove made everything cozy. And we had a great time playing pool and listening to records in the game room – it was a great place to hang!

This place is the ultimate get away. “Disconnect from your big city life and stay in a modern cabin” kind of get away. WiFi is fast and had no issues for whatever you want to do. Incredibly comfortable bath, full kitchen, heating (and cooling - although it was winter when we went) and so much privacy you won’t run into another human (plenty of non-humans majestically wandering around though). 10/10 recommend. Elizabeth is a great host and very responsive. Also - please note - the photos did not show a refrigerator but rest assured - there is a very nice and basically brand new refrigerator. Perfect stay for our 4 nights but longer is easily achieved due to the state of this location. Don’t hesitate - book it. It’s worth it.

This was our third time staying at David's place. We enjoy the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My son had fun watching the wild turkeys that came by. David is incredibly responsive to texts and goes out of his way to make us feel at home. The space itself is cozy and inviting, and though it's small, it has everything you need for an enjoyable getaway.

This spot was so peaceful. Quiet , but still walkable to White Salmon Main Street. Just a quick drive over the river from Hood River. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Michael was very helpful and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was incredibly cozy and provided the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. The surroundings were absolutely stunning; it’s so beautiful here that you’ll never want to leave. A highlight of our trip was getting to see baby elk right outside—an experience my kids will remember for a long time. The house is well-appointed and spacious, but I do have a small note about the beds. While they were certainly adequate, they weren’t the most comfortable, especially the bunk beds, which felt a bit heavily lined with plastic. My kids didn’t seem to mind, but it wasn’t ideal for adults. That said, it didn’t detract much from our overall experience. We’d still highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone wanting to escape to a serene and scenic retreat! I would definitely book here again.
