We loved our stay at SeaMist Cottage! It was absolutely beautiful—the perfect place for a weekend of R&R! The cottage was spotless, checkin was seamless, the bed is extremely comfy, and Stephanie & Peter were extremely helpful and responsive. My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at lake house cottage. The cottage was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. This was the ultimate peaceful and quiet area to relax and unwind. We did not spent much time there because we were attending an event in the area. However, we enjoyed the quiet peaceful evenings sitting on the screened deck. I am sure it is beautful in the summer. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great spot! Family enjoyed a white Christmas here. The house was large enough for 8 of us. The Bunkie was a nice addition, but maybe not able to hold up to really cold nights in winter… but would definitely consider staying here again! Shane was great with communicating. Thanks for a great rental!

I arrived feeling exhausted after a long drive from the USA. But, what a great place to land in Nova Scotia! I slept like a baby in a very comfy bed. The surroundings are beautiful--tucked amidst trees and overlooking the waters of La Have river- I found a little piece of paradise here. The cottage itself is charming. A well stocked kitchen including treats from the La Have bakery. Can't resist that! Joe is such a friendly and kind host. I appreciated that he was always quick to respond to any questions. He can tell you about all the sights and restaurants in the area. My favorite was Cresent Beach about a 15 minute drive--what a place to walk your dog and experience the ocean. I highly recommend staying here!

This is literally oceanfront property- can't get any closer! With a perfect view of the sunset directly from the sliding glass door, this place provides one of most beautiful and tranquil accommodations we've ever experienced.

We felt like we had a break from the world. It was peaceful, very cozy, charming, and comfortable. We slept like babies, even though it was cooler weather and we had to put wood in the stove for heat (something we enjoyed immensely). Kitchen was reasonably equipped, so we just cooked our own meals. If you’re ok with a few bugs and spiders here and there (nothing dangerous), you’ll love it. We plan to be back.

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

Echoing others - lovely stay! Everything you could think you need (and more!) recommend bringing slippers for the winter months to add to the cozy feeling. Loved it and would book again easily.

Such a perfect getaway place at an incredible location. Highly recommend for anyone looking for clean and cozy comfort with that ol’ beachhouse vibe. Our second time here — but now a go-to spot for our visits to lovely Shelburne. We love it!

This cabin offers all the necessary amenities for a relaxing weekend getaway from home or work. The personal touch provided by Chef Hendrix, including a warm welcome with a pie and birthday balloons, made our stay truly special. The sauna proved to be a delightful bonus on a chilly day, and the wood stove was the highlight of our stay at The Harmony Grand. Having breakfast delivered in the morning was another extra touch and we appreciated it very much.

7 ladies, including myself went to this cottage for a weekend getaway to relax. This place was perfect for just that! The view was excellent, the place was warm and cozy, especially with the fire place. Lots of room/beds for people to sleep and pretty much everything you would need in the kitchen. Kristine was great to communicate with and extremely flexible with check in & check out times. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Jill was a flexible and generous host! The Airbnb is beautiful with gorgeous views and lots of space for people to stay. She had a bottle of local wine for us to try and gave us a flexible check out time. The perfect place to stay!

The cottage in the pines was just as described. Very peaceful and private. Loved to be able to reconnect with the outdoors and recharge.

The place was nicely decorated and peaceful, the fireplace was awesome, the full kitchen easy to use, the directions for the place and local recommendations was wonderful, and the host communicates promptly and with great effort to make sure to get the information needed. The washer and dryer are such a nice feature and work well! Control of the indoor temperature took some time to figure out for each floor and the outside fluctuating temperature didn't help, and you can hear each other's rooms at times, these are very minor things and can be dealt with. the local stores and restaurants do close by 8pm local time so factor that into your trip. The place overall was just what was needed for the weekend trip! the place is sweet and I would recommend others to stay there!

We stayed here over New Year’s and it was the perfect getaway. Super comfortable, cozy woodstove, and amazing views. We’d definitely return!

A truly magical place. Location is ideal to visit so many different towns, trails and excursions. However, starting the morning off on the deck watching the sunrise and then ending the day cooking on the BBQ. The house is fully equipped with every kitchen gadget needed. 3 good sized bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. There is a wonderful community feeling.

We had an amazing time at the cottage! The view is spectacular and so close to hubbards beach and the Shore Club. Darlene is an absolute sweetheart and so accommodating. The beds are comfy and the cottage has all the amenities you need. Thank you Darlene, we will be back
