Great place to stay with the whole family. Jen is always responsive and very helpful when I had a problem with my car. She is the one find the garage for my car and very helpful in everything. Her place is beautiful, walking distance to the ⛱️ beach. 5 stars is not enough to rate her. I would recommend this place. Thanks Jen.

The place was fantastic, a perfect venue for 4 friends to go on a short golf trip. Super well appointed place, a lot of nice touches such as labels on light switches (most places don't do that and you need to switch em all to see what they do!). Also, the beds were very comfortable, the night sky was amazing, it was very quiet and peaceful as well. We will certainly book again in the future!

This guest home is amazing and a vibe that reflects the awesome personality of the hosts. If you are looking to get away and relax this is your place, the patio and hot tub over looking the ocean and the claw foot tub and fireplace inside were amazing features but many more touching features that make this a perfect getaway anytime of the year. We will be back and recommending to others!

Wendy and Ron were great hosts and very easy to communicate with. Their relationship place was very clean and quiet with a short walk to the beach.

I was extremely happy with this little cottage for our family vacation. It was the perfect size and location for us and was clearly well-cared-for, with many amenities making it feel like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is wonderful -- a lovely space... a peaceful atmosphere... a water view with cloudscapes, boats and seals... an intriguing shoreline to explore... a friendly host's warm welcome... all combined to create a magical experience. We left feeling renewed and inspired.

Beautiful, cute and squeaky clean cottage. Has everything you would need, clean, bright, spacious bedrooms, with a fully equipped kitchen. Katie was very responsive, fluent, and even had the place ready for us hours before check in time :) Hot tub is to die for, with beautiful string lights with a cozy environment. 100/10 would recommend and can’t wait to stay again! Amazing stay, even in January! I can’t even imagine how beautiful this place would be in the summer. So close to Summerville beach. The space was beautiful and clean, I will definitely stay again!

Joseph’s place is a slice of heaven! It was beautiful and peaceful and had everything we needed. My kids never wanted to leave and looked forward to coming back on every day trip just so they could play and explore the rocks and pristine nature around us. Joseph knew we had kids and brought us sleds! We spent our mornings on the rocks with coffee and evenings with Nova Scotia wine in the hot tub and/or on the rocks watching the water lap. The pictures don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back! I can’t recommend his place and his hospitality enough. It’s a big outdoor playground with serene surroundings. The place is very spacious and lots of amenities are provided. It felt like the home we’d want if we could pick one!

We had an amazing time at the shore shack. The property is gorgeous - we enjoyed a starry night in the hot tub and woke up to a vibrant sunrise over the water. The house is well equipped with all the necessities you would need along with lots of cozy touches. The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

My special needs brother and I had wonderful stay at Sara’s cabin . The cabin is so confortable and cozy . The dirt road in and out is very well kept for winter travel ! The hot tub and movie night was a huge hit . The snow in the ground just added to the surrounding Beauty . Sara is s super host ! Would love to return .

we absolutely love Arnels place , the games room in the garage was lovely we spent a lot of time with family and friends out there, love the fact that there is a wood stove in the garage and the cottage . The cottage had everything you needed plus more. The hot tub and the charcoal smoker were added bonus can't wait to come back again to go kayaking, and paddle boarding on the lake in the warmer weather . The back deck with the gazebo is another great feature and very private setting!

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The place was clean, lovely decorated and in a perfect location. The cottage is walking distance to town and to a lovely walking trail that we took full advantage of during our stay. We were able to drive to many attractions (i.e. Lunenburg, Peggie’s Cove, and Halifax Harbour-front) in under an hour. The town of Chester has everything you need for a wonderful week away. The best part of our stay was Lizzie our host. She was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed including dropping off extra lifejackets. Our week stay was everything we expected and more.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. It was the perfect place for our family as the couple with two small ones stayed on the lower level where we wouldn’t disturb them sleeping, the grandparents stayed over garage and couple with a teenager stayed on main level and that is where we cooked/ate meals. Beautiful kitchens that were both fully equipped. We had 9 of us total and were very comfortable. The laundry was so nice to have and loved the view off the upper balcony. We grilled most nights which kept cleanup to minimum. Allison provides a lot of extras in garage like toys for playing in sand, camp chairs, etc. Cavendish beach is lovely and short drive or to just explore/look for shells/walk Rustico Beach is short walk. Would not recommend swimming at this beach but nice to walk. The boardwalk is beautiful and short walk into town. We can’t say enough good things about our stay! Allison was so responsive and a superb host. For a large family Orkney place is perfect!

We stayed in Cottage #2 which was a spacious two bedroom. Cottage was equipped with all the necessities. My husband loved the large tv screen to watch hockey...yes I said hockey in August...lol...thanks COVID. I however can’t say enough about the view from the patio as you sip on morning coffee and wine in the evening...SPECTACULAR! Wayne was great to deal with and answered each communication within moments. Was a pleasure to deal with.

Rented all 5 cabins for a family vacation. This was the perfect place. David was absolutely amazing. There is nothing we would change. Definitely a piece of heaven, wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great place to stay from the moment you step in to the neighbours up the road. Absolutely beautiful. Everything we wanted to do was within a 30 minute drive. And the beaches…. Must see it for yourself. The home was well suited, super clean and well maintained. Amazing view. Super comfortable for both families

A complete gem of a property! Stunning waterfront fun. Everything we could have imagined and more. Perfect for any kind of weather. Host was available and accommodating when we had questions. We will be back!

Great location on a very clean and peaceful lake. Swimming , kayaks and paddleboards are available right off the private dock. My son and I enjoyed paddling around the lake with islands, walking trails and a natural area with diving board to explore. The house is on a peninsula so while it’s very private , you also get pretty views on 3 sides. The house is stocked with everything you need for meals, movie watching , games (indoor & outdoor) as wells as a fire pit area. Very rustic feel but everything clean and air conditioned so we were comfortable when we did spend time in the house. Lastly , we were able to get to the Halifax waterfront for a very enjoyable meal in only 35 mins. Closer options in Sackville & Dartmouth as well. We also appreciated having a large Sobey’s grocery store only 10 min drive away.
