Cottage vacation rentals in Nova Scotia

We absolutely loved the closed in deck where we sat and watched the sunset and birds playing in the tides. Great that the washer and dryer was there and worked wonderfully. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and even wine glasses!

Great place to stay with the whole family. Jen is always responsive and very helpful when I had a problem with my car. She is the one find the garage for my car and very helpful in everything. Her place is beautiful, walking distance to the ⛱️ beach. 5 stars is not enough to rate her. I would recommend this place. Thanks Jen.

Cute place in view of the bridge ! Peaceful and so quiet . I would definitely come back again ! So close to beach stairs made it easy for several trips a day ! My first trip to PEI and I picked a jewel. Colleen was an excellent host and truly one of my best Airbnb stays.

The place was fantastic, a perfect venue for 4 friends to go on a short golf trip. Super well appointed place, a lot of nice touches such as labels on light switches (most places don't do that and you need to switch em all to see what they do!). Also, the beds were very comfortable, the night sky was amazing, it was very quiet and peaceful as well. We will certainly book again in the future!

This guest home is amazing and a vibe that reflects the awesome personality of the hosts. If you are looking to get away and relax this is your place, the patio and hot tub over looking the ocean and the claw foot tub and fireplace inside were amazing features but many more touching features that make this a perfect getaway anytime of the year. We will be back and recommending to others!

Wendy and Ron were great hosts and very easy to communicate with. Their relationship place was very clean and quiet with a short walk to the beach.

We stayed at Lindsay and Logan’s cottage for four days in mid-September and it was wonderful. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you could want and was beautifully decorated. But best of all, the proximity to the water, watching the tides come and go, viewing boats going under the Confederation bridge, having such a peaceful deck for relaxing, were such awesome experiences. We would absolutely rent this amazing cottage again.

We had a great stay! The place was very nice, and there is plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Shawna was very attentive to anything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here

Marco's place was absolutely amazing. It was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. It is nestled between several small towns, with breathtaking views, and close to fantastic restaurants. The cottage is only a quick drive across the bridge to PEI if youre looking to take a day trip. We will be coming back and have already shared with family and friends so that Marco's Cajun Cottage can now be a tradition when we travel back and forth from Ontario. Thanks Marco, for an incredible stay with lots of R&R!!!!!

Absolutely perfect. Clean and cozy and beautiful with an amazing welcome basket and card. Quick to respond and super helpful and caring. 5 star home and 5 star hosts. Highly recommend

My husband, myself and our 2 kids stayed the weekend for our son’s birthday. We had the best time walking through snowy woods and warming up in the hot tub. Everything was so cozy and comfy, can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely stunning, what a beautiful place to relax. I will definitely be booking a stay again. The beautiful red sand beach right on your doorstep. It's close enough to Charlottetown to do some great shopping and restaurants and far enough away to enjoy the stars at night. the hot tub and the sauna were incredible. A beautiful little paradise.

This place is absolutely stunning!! The views of the lake are unreal , like something out of a magazine. The hottub/sauna overlooking the lake and the short , well lit walking trails to get there are like your in a fairy tale. The host is super accomidating. I cannot wait to come back! We had an amazing stay! Would recommend 10/10 👌

Everything we needed was there and more. She went above and beyond by decorating for a birthday and left us some goodies. Hot tub was amazing. We felt right at home. Highly recommend this quiet peaceful spot!!

Corinna was a fantastic host, she was very proactive and made sure you had all of the information you needed before and during your stay! Her place is beautiful, it had all of the amenities you could need and all of the small details made it feel like such a cozy space. Corinna had Christmas music playing when we get there and left wine & treats for us to enjoy. The property and hottub is beautiful and we cannot wait to come back to enjoy it all again!! 😊

Nice little cottage with a beautiful view

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. It was the perfect place for our family as the couple with two small ones stayed on the lower level where we wouldn’t disturb them sleeping, the grandparents stayed over garage and couple with a teenager stayed on main level and that is where we cooked/ate meals. Beautiful kitchens that were both fully equipped. We had 9 of us total and were very comfortable. The laundry was so nice to have and loved the view off the upper balcony. We grilled most nights which kept cleanup to minimum. Allison provides a lot of extras in garage like toys for playing in sand, camp chairs, etc. Cavendish beach is lovely and short drive or to just explore/look for shells/walk Rustico Beach is short walk. Would not recommend swimming at this beach but nice to walk. The boardwalk is beautiful and short walk into town. We can’t say enough good things about our stay! Allison was so responsive and a superb host. For a large family Orkney place is perfect!

We had an incredible stay at both The Lux and the Lake House. The Lux was exactly as shown in the photos—modern, stylish, and clean. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning and made our stay extra special. Jolena was an exceptional host from start to finish. She was incredibly responsive, always quick to answer our questions, and provided excellent customer service. She went out of her way to accommodate our needs, which made our trip even more relaxing. Overall, this was a fantastic experience، highly recommended!

We had a lovely time in Mylene's magnificent home. Mylene has gone above and beyond in considering everything that her guests might require, including beautiful essential oils in the bathrooms, high-quality linens, and even cozy robes in each room! It outdid our every expectation! The property was gorgeous, and we couldn't decide which of the outdoor fire pits or patios we loved the most. We had a huge bonfire, made delicious pizzas in the gourmet pizza oven, and went for polar dips in the lake followed by lounging in the hot tub. Mylene even left a beautiful bouquet of flowers, yummy pastries, and local coffee as a welcome surprise for my mother who was celebrating her birthday the weekend we were there. Thanks Mylene for a delightful weekend retreat! We hope to be back again soon!

We stayed in Cottage #2 which was a spacious two bedroom. Cottage was equipped with all the necessities. My husband loved the large tv screen to watch hockey...yes I said hockey in August...lol...thanks COVID. I however can’t say enough about the view from the patio as you sip on morning coffee and wine in the evening...SPECTACULAR! Wayne was great to deal with and answered each communication within moments. Was a pleasure to deal with.

Rented all 5 cabins for a family vacation. This was the perfect place. David was absolutely amazing. There is nothing we would change. Definitely a piece of heaven, wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great location on a very clean and peaceful lake. Swimming , kayaks and paddleboards are available right off the private dock. My son and I enjoyed paddling around the lake with islands, walking trails and a natural area with diving board to explore. The house is on a peninsula so while it’s very private , you also get pretty views on 3 sides. The house is stocked with everything you need for meals, movie watching , games (indoor & outdoor) as wells as a fire pit area. Very rustic feel but everything clean and air conditioned so we were comfortable when we did spend time in the house. Lastly , we were able to get to the Halifax waterfront for a very enjoyable meal in only 35 mins. Closer options in Sackville & Dartmouth as well. We also appreciated having a large Sobey’s grocery store only 10 min drive away.

Lisa’s place was exactly as pictured. The cottages accommodated our large family perfectly. We enjoyed how close the cottages were especially with little kids. Beds were comfy , the fire pit allowed a beautiful view of the lake as did the large windows. Check in was easy.
