Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Whitby Beach

We had a great experience in staying in the cottage. The host was very informative and attentive. The cottage is very appealing with everything you could need and comfortable beds. The village is so quaint and the cottage isn't very far at all from the beach. We will certainly be recommending it to friends and hopefully returning ourselves

The house was beautifully maintained and ideal for our family get together. Richard was very quick to respond to any questions I had and was a great host, would highly recommend this property.

We had such a great time at Lancaster House. Right from the beginning Zoe made it an easy process by responding promptly to any questions and then providing us with information about Lancaster House. The property is a really nice place in a quiet street in Whitby. It is a great size with all of the amenities needed to feel right at home. One bonus is the parking, which can be difficult to find in a lot of places in Whitby. We managed to park just up about 50 yards from the property on the same road. The house is about a 3 to 4 minute walk from the whalebone arch. The views from the front two bedrooms looked directly at the Abbey. There is a great cafe on the same street called Rusty's that we would really recommend. We loved our stay here. Thank you Zoe!

Had the most perfect stay at Janes with our dog. Jane has thought of everything and the little extra touches on arrival were just lovely. The garden is a dream and everything is finished to a high speck. Really was just the perfect get away we will be back

Great house in a great location. Everything you need is provided, clean and comfortable. Easy access to Whitby but in a really peaceful spot.

Lovely aesthetics and very good quality furnishings. Lots of space and immaculately clean. Very easy to relax there. Lovely welcome goodies.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Jamie’s seaside house. Perfect location for getting about and exploring, really close to Runswick Bay. Lovely house & we really enjoyed just relaxing there as a family for the weekend. Thanks again Jamie. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the Porthole. The views are totally idyllic and location is perfect. The accommodation was as described and we enjoyed the little touches including breakfast. Great restaurant recommendations too.

Great place to stay with everything to hand. Easy access to Whitby, Goathland and nearby places. Sleights is also much more than a place to pass through. Lovely apartment.

Totally wonderfull modern pad.attention to detail and high end .lots of thought gone into providing everything for a great experiance.from bathroom to living area .this was worth every penny and loved our stay .we used some of the self catering facilities and not one thing was missing and was of good quality .we loved having roomy instead of just a b and b bedroom .from booking to arriving everything been simple and felt if there was a problem our host would be straight on it .love love

Perfect for a weekend away, visiting the local area and the railway.

We had a great 4 night stay at Rebecca's place. Beautiful flat, everything we needed for the stay. Easy walk into the town centre. Play park a few minutes walk, which was ideal for my 5 year old. As were the orchard games in the flat, which she enjoyed playing with. Would highly recommend.

We had a very nice stay here. The location is extremely convenient for walking to all the local shops and attractions. There were lots of convenient parking options as well (all crowded while we were there because of an event going on in town but we were still able to find a place to park when we needed it). The flat was in good order and worked well for a stay with a baby as there was a small separate room from the main bedroom where we could put our travel cot and it also had a blackout shade which was very convenient. We would certainly stay again.

Excellent location. With beautiful views from each room. Although there were some building works with scaffolding during our stay, we still enjoy the view. Comfortable beds. The flat is nice and warm. We will definitely come to stay again in the future. Thanks Donna!

My wife and I had an incredible time at No.2 from Friday, 18th October to Sunday, 20th October 2024. From the moment we arrived, Diane’s hospitality was exceptional. She allowed us early check-in and late check-out, giving us extra time to explore the beautiful surroundings without feeling rushed. The flat was immaculate—spotlessly clean, elegantly decorated, and well-equipped for all our needs. The welcoming bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch and truly appreciated after our journey. Diane provided us with excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions. We enjoyed a hearty Sunday Dinner at Forty Six and visited the hidden speakeasy bar, The Library, both of which were highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to stay with a host who genuinely cares about making your visit special, this is the place. We would love to return and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Malton!

My wife and I stayed at this property as a base whilst attending a friends wedding near Malton. We cannot fault the property. It is beautifully furnished with a modern kitchen and living area. The bathroom is spectacular. The location is ideal, right in the center of town with all the shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep. There is very convenient parking immediately outside. If we are ever looking for somewhere to stay in the area again we would 100% look to stay here.
