Highly recommend staying at this beautiful bach. Had everything we needed for a studio apartment + a portacot was provided for our baby. Gorgeous spot right at the end of the road so felt very private and easy access to the beach. A short walk to the wharf and coffee shop as well which was a plus. Thanks for the great accomodation !

Perfection…in every way. Great communication and Paul was very responsive and accommodating. The place was a slice of heaven and we will definitely be using it every time we travel to Whakatane. Super close to town, with 180 degree ocean views and very respectful quiet neighbours. 10/10 for anyone looking for an amazing place to relax and unwind. We had a wonderful stay. Great place with plenty of room for family. Loved the sheltered outdoor area for a bbq and hanging out in the shade. Thanks for the stay. Would come again.

Had a lovely stay albeit we weren’t at the house for very long due to a wedding. We had clear instructions on where to find the key and how to get in the house. From there we were greeted with a tidy home with suitable rooms for our stay. Everything was clean and everyone was happier than expected with our accommodation. Just one thing, we were left with an empty body wash in the shower. Overall, great stay and would be happy to visit again.

We had a lovely couple of days staying here. The place is a small guest house just off the main house at the back. Small, but perfect for us, had everything you really need and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking nice meals. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. We especially liked that tea/coffee was provided, as well as some bread, butter, muesli and spreads for breakfast - it's the little things that count. The place had tonnes of character and charm and felt 'lived in' - in a good way! Glen are her partner are lovely hosts, please do pop round and have a chat with them as they have some great stories! Ohope Beach itself is just amazing, just embrace the peaceful nature of the place and wander around and you'll have a great time. 10/10 can't recommend this place enough.

Our stay at Ash and Vanesch’s unit was great, very central for the things we wanted to do. The beach was just across the road and the Ōhope club well within walking distance, their menu was good too! We would recommend this stay to anyone however be prepared for a little road noise. Maybe we noticed it because we live in a quiet cul de sac. Thanks Ash and Vanesch.

Lovely relaxing stay at a classic Kiwi bach. Family holiday with our three kids and we all had a great time kayaking, trying to catch fish, having more success catching mud crabs, going for hikes on the headland, and just relaxing offline. Host Nik is super friendly and responsive, place was exactly what we were expecting and hoping for, and we will be back!! Highly recommend to others who enjoy old school device-free outdoor kids family holidays :)

Tamara thank you so much for sharing your property. Weather was terrible but your home enabled us to still spread out and rooms downstairs gave family with young children their own space.

The hosts were very helpful and the accommodation was lovely with a great fresh pine smell. It is very close to the beach and I loved falling asleep to the sound of waves on the shore. The morning shower was lovely with good pressure for an on-demand hot water system. Everything we needed was provided for a great stay.

A great place to stay. Great location. Nice and quiet. Everything we needed had been catered for. Very clean and comfortable. Russell and Lorraine were very friendly hosts. Appreciated the extra goodies. I will be recommending Guesthouse in Ohope to my family and friends.

Beautiful house in a lovely neighbourhood just minutes from the beach. Well set up for dogs to stay as well. Easy to communicate with host both before and during our stay

A lovely place to stay. The location was perfect, just across the road to the beach and the house was comfortable and clean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the beautiful view was a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend.

The surrounding native bush, tidy spacious lockwood and all the amenities you could ask for (right on the lake, spa, flying fox, kayaks) and a wonderful host to create an awesome holiday.
