There are several nearby car parks and overnight street parking. Lymington has a thriving Saturday market and high street. The quay, marinas and IOW ferry terminal are all a short walk away and the new forest is very close. Please note the host has a dog who may sometimes be in the shared garden.

Located on the same road as the train station, free parking for one car on the drive, central to Christchurch. 10 minute walk into the centre of Christchurch or a 10 minute walk to Wick along the river. The house is opposite a Londis and a very good fish & chip shop. The nearest beach is a 5 minute drive, there are so many beautiful beaches to choose from in the area.

Really lovely 1 night stay if you are looking for a quiet place with beautiful surroundings. Although it is a studio, it doesn't feel like one because it is spacious and finished beautifully. Bare in mind there isn't any walkable pubs/restaurants so would definitely need a car. Lovely little spot and would definately go back. Peter was very helpful and gave some recommendations for local dinner places.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend anyone to go and stay. The accommodation is very cute and was very homely. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do that were recommended to us by the host. The beach is only a 5 minute walk and really easy to get to. The hosts are a lovely family that welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They were very helpful by answering our questions and were really easy to communicate with. Will definitely be coming back soon :)

Loved our short break at Applewood - location is great for exploring the New Forest and it is really peaceful - despite the nearby train line. The cabin was well equipped and so warm and cosy, I loved listening to the water feature in the garden in the morning. My children loved all the books and games (and SkyTv!) and I loved the waterfall shower. The bed was incredibly comfy and the sofa bed was pretty comfy too. Linda was really accommodating to a late check in too, as we arrived at 2am after a late ferry crossing to Dover. To conclude - fantastic accommodation for a short stay in the new forest - I would love to stay again in the future :)

it's a beautiful place. the garden is absolutely stunning, chickens and dogs visits included. loved it, so peaceful! we were travelling with our daughter, 2 years old. I didn't really clock that there's no door to the bedroom so we basically had to switch the lights off downstairs to get her to sleep, which was a bit awkward. but I probably haven't read the description properly and it wasn't a big deal. but just in case it's helpful for anyone travelling with young kids... otherwise amazing stay especially for children. so much space to run around and explore. really lovely.

Me and my partner wanted a cosy short break where we could just relax and this was perfect. The cabin is in a quiet countryside village but feels very secluded. We drove 20 mins to Lyme both days and also to Perry’s Cider farm for breakfast and gifts. We also enjoyed a nice steak at Tytherleigh Arms which was delicious! We were lucky enough to have beautiful sunny weather but I can imagine it to be very cosy even if it rains. If you’re looking for a romantic, chilled and cosy break, Marinas place is perfect.

we had a lovely few days at Cheryl's place. The cottage is just as described and is a cosy home from home. We had a mixed bag of weather and it was good to have some board games to enjoy while it was wet and windy. We had one day of brilliant sunshine and enjoyed sitting in the lovely deck area soaking up the sun when we got back from our day out. All in all, a great place to stay.
