Waterfront vacation rentals in Western Montana

We will be back to Cara’s place 👍. She’s done a lovely job decorating but still clutter free. The beds were comfortable and the linens soft. As noted, there is no AC but we were comfortable with the breeze through the beautiful windows and the temps were pretty mild during our summer stay. We spent most of our time out adventuring but it was a very relaxing and comfortable air bnb to come back to :). Even though there isn’t water access (as Cara did a great job confirming), the view is still so nice from the living room/balcony.

Great place to stay in/around Belgrade and Bozeman. Used Margaret’s place as a launching point to fish local rivers. Good access to grocery and restaurants. Very close to the airport, convenient. Margaret is a great host, very responsive.

Lisa’s place worked well for our family of 3. It had comfortable beds and furnishings, and the kitchen was well-supplied with everything we needed to make our own breakfasts and lunches. We did have some concerns when we checked in but communicating them to Lisa was a breeze and she took care of them. Very nice place, close enough to Bozeman to get there in about 15 minutes. There is a nice walking path around a small lake right behind the rental. Having Pops Store right in the building was very handy when we needed something we didn’t bring with. Great stay overall! Caryn is wonderful. The unit had everything and more that you would need. Many extras, like comfy robes, for when you use the hot tub. The dock with chairs is so peaceful. Kayaks, deck with tons of seating, hammocks, the list could go on and on. It is off the beaten path, so it takes extra time to get to sights, but it’s well worth it. There is plenty of room for big families to vacation together and stocked full of all you would need for any large crowd. The unit looks brand new in quality but the decor, floors, cabinets and everything else has a rustic feel but is by no means “rustic” in that it’s old. Beautiful unit all around. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed. You will be thrilled.

Such a Beautiful home with AMAZING views! The house was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Kathi is a wonderful host. She is very welcoming and made us feel right at home!

Booked this without even realizing it was a “couples” getaway for me and my brother in law. Either way it was perfect. We booked this trip on a whim to turn our phones off and enjoy nature. It checks all boxes. Right off the river like it mentions. Fishing for trout right in your backyard is something else ! The entire place is clean and it’s only a 20 minute drive from Glacier Natl Park !

I loved Aja’s place!! It was just perfect for me and my pup. It was so cozy and inviting and the bed was amazing. Huge plus with the washer and dryer. It was nice and private and so lovely!! I’ll definitely be returning again. 5 stars all around. :)

We had the most amazing stay away from home for Thanksgiving. We were so amazed at how beautiful this home was. Shamir was very responsive and accommodating. We would love to stay here again!!!

We really appreciate everything about the stay. We booked very late as we did not know our plans until right at the end. Highlander's quick response and easy check-in helped get the deal sealed and also allowed us to show up late after driving extra to get all the way to this cool destination including a personal welcome message. As it says, it is a lake front property and my daughter and I got day license and actually caught two large rainbow trout right off of the dock, what a memory for us! The home is very cozy on those cold November nights in Montana and the neighborhood is very quiet but it may have been the colder temps because there are other docks nearby just no one really out during our trip. Also, so many other lakes and areas nearby this to enjoy too but we liked it so much we spent all of the time away from the conference I had in town at the property and on the dock enjoying the lake and view from the back deck. We enjoyed staying at Valerie’s & Joe’s Sweet Suite in the country! Just minutes from Whitefish, MT. Very peaceful acreage. The 2 bedroom suite was very comfortable including amenities. We enjoyed our ski vacation and would certainly stay again! Cheers! The Brights

This is my second time staying at this home with my family. We enjoyed our time together as much as we did last time. Beautiful view of the pond with ducks and geese. The kitchen had everything we needed to make multiple meals for six of us. A beautiful home that makes you not want to leave.

Beautiful waterfront location, 8 min north of Gardner. Great deck for wildlife and star gazing. October 2024, huge elk herd in the vicinity. We'll trained to put on a great show for the guests. Extra items in kitchen that always make it easier for guests (ie coffee, filters, seasoning, oil, hot chocolate).Will stay here again.

The location is open concept and airy. I saw other locations which were more cluttered and would not have been as restful as this location. I was looking for an oasis and this location was restful airy and quiet. There was everything I needed to have an enjoyable time. Thank you so much.

Amazing place and walkable to town! Hosts were responsive and easy to work with. Would consider returning. The only major downsides were: (a) there are no blinds in almost all windows, including a glass door in the master bed, so the inside is always exposed to light and limited privacy; and (b) the host asked us to do the dishes and strip away bed sheets, but we paid a $150 cleaning fee. I’m tired of being asked to clean my hosts when we’re paying cleaning fees, especially in higher end properties.

100/10 would recommend. Location is phenomenal, host was very responsive but I hardly needed them since everything was perfect from the beginning. Really appreciated that there was some spices, games and firewood. It really made the place easy to walk into and feel comfortable

Literally in Big Sky, it blew my mind how close to the resort this was, we literally walked back from the lift to this place, it was just under a mile, fantastic location!

Gorgeous and clean condo within walking distance of Flathead Lake and restaurants. It is spacious and comfortable. Parking is easy. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay at Hope's apartment. It is much roomier than the pictures might indicate and had everything we needed for our very active ski vacation - well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa and chairs and nice dining area. We enjoyed the view of the mountain, river and snow covered fields when we were there and being away from the more built up areas of Big Sky. That said, town and Nordic is only 10 minutes away. The place also had beautiful, big, healthy houseplants, which was so cheerful and a real rarity for an Airbnb.

The view was amazing and made it feel like we were on vacation. Location was perfect; we were able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive and friendly. They answered all our calls and accommodated our last minute requests, which we so appreciated! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Birk’s place! The place was clean, walking distance to the mountain, and cozy. Everything was as described - we would definitely stay here again!

The host was incredibly communicative and helpful making sure the entire process was smooth. The condo was super clean and welcoming for my stay. The location is great, far enough outside of Gardiner you feel like you have some quiet and privacy with the tourist season starting to pick up. But close enough to the north entrance that the drive isn’t a hassle. The views couldn’t be better…. Sitting riverside and right on the water and the bison herd right across the street. Definitely recommend staying here and will be back for sure.

What a great spot! So nice and relaxing, was just what we needed after long days in the car. I kayaked Saturday afternoon on the beautiful lake while my boyfriend enjoyed the big TV. Place is spacious and so clean has everything you’d need. Drea was great, totally recommend.

What an incredible location and view! Lakeside has everything you need all within walking distance. It's close proximity to Whitefish and Glacier National Park makes it the perfect location with so many hiking, biking, sightseeing and dining options. The condo's unobstructed view of Flathead Lake, with the Swan and Mission Mountain ranges as the lake's backdrop, is stunning! The incredibly spacious condo is fully furnished with everything you need. This was my second stay here, and I am already planning next year's trip. 5 stars all the way!
