Our historic lakeside inn/bed & breakfast has 18 individually decorated guest rooms waiting for you - at a unique setting on Kezar Lake, one of New Hampshire's most beautiful lakes. We're located in the quiet village of North Sutton (just south of New London in the Sunapee/Dartmouth region of New Hampshire and mere minutes from Mount Sunapee, a winter delight that boasts the finest snow in New Hampshire and a summer adventure land with zip lines and other exciting activities). For generations, Follansbee Inn on Kezar Lake has beckoned adults and older children who long for an active, natural and environmentally friendly vacation. Our guests come from near and far to enjoy outdoor activities and year-round fun. There are adventures and activities for each and every season, so please enjoy unlimited free use of our kayaks, canoes, rowboat, sailboat, bicycles and snowshoes. Our guests enjoy a delicious and hearty breakfast, influenced by the Innkeepers' Louisiana heritage. Entrees range from down home cookin' (baked cheese grits, praline bacon, pecan buttermilk waffles, stuffed French toast) to succulent masterpieces ( John Besh's Angel Biscuits, Asparagus, Smoked Salmon, and Gruyere Cheese Omelets, Eggs Beatrice, etc.). Guests can choose to dine alone at one of our two-top tables, or dine with a group of four to eight at one of our larger dining tables. We are offering two suites through Airbnb; one suite (the Family Suite) has a queen in one room and two twins in a connected room, with a bathroom that has a claw foot tub/shower. The second suite (Jennifer) has a queen bed in the main area and a twin bed in the expanded suite area. The bathroom has a tub/shower. Both suites are air conditioned.

We booked a last minute getaway and this was IDEAL. Sean and Kelly’s beautifully restored home is cozy and so immaculately beautiful. The downstairs common areas are perfect for curling up by the fire with a book and a cup of tea/glass of wine. The bedroom was spotless, super comfortable bed, sparkling clean bathroom and awesome jacuzzi style bathtub. The hosts are extremely friendly and amazing people. They made us feel right at home and welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them about local history, wildlife, and their story. Can’t wait to come back here again!

Best value! Very nicely uniquely decorated lovely house with many interesting antique Ray collected . Clean and comfortable. Host Ray is the nicely host I ever had. Not only he got up very early to prepare delicious breakfast for my family when I had to leave the place early to catch a skiing lesson at Okemo, he also prepared the pit fire for us after he saw my daughter trying to pick up items for s'more making when we ran into each other coincidentally at the nearby grocery store. I will highly recommend Ray's unit for anyone who visit the area. Thanks Ray for your top notch hospitality!!

Patricia is a warm, accomodating host and keeps up a beautiful, historic property right on the lakefront of Sacandaga. This B&B is well furnished, comfortable beds/linens, and includes any amenity you'd need for a relaxing summer retreat (in ground pool, fire pit on the water, kayaks, etc.). Not to mention, Patricia also makes a delicious breakfast every morning. Looking forward to our third stay next July!

I needed a place to stay the evening I arrived at the Bradley Airport and I didn’t want to stay in a hotel. I’d never been to the area and wished I had a friend to stay with. Alas, I did! Only I didn’t know at the time that Sandra and Tom would fill that role. I literally felt like I’d gone to visit friends from the moment I arrived until I departed. The bedroom upstairs was cozy and the gourmet breakfast the next morning made it very much worth not staying in a hotel! I wasn’t hungry until mid afternoon, which turned out to be convenient because I had meetings until then. If I ever return to the area, I will stay with my friends Sandra and Tom again!

So close to great amenities especially the quaint charming town of Mystic. It’s the perfect little cozy getaway. Quiet and just far enough from NYC. Hosted by an actual earth angel, Rose Marie’s property is a haven in this sleepy little hill town. Every room is well appointed & the suites are comfortable and beautiful! Rose has ‘the eye’ and everything from the linens to the fully furnished kitchen are thoughtfully designed. My husband is obsessed with this place & we are planning summer trips now that this is “our” place! We cannot wait to explore outside where she has extended the inspired & peaceful vibe of the interior well into the conservatory behind the house and the yards. You won’t regret staying here at all!
