Ethan’s place was perfect!! The view was stunning and it was so relaxing to just sit and listen to the ocean. There’s a lovely path to walk along the seaside that lead to tidal pools, a cute little coffee hut, and picturesque lookouts! Everything is provided in the fully equipped kitchen and the bedrooms were clean and comfy. Wine farms are within a quick 10 minute drive as well as beachside restaurants. Perfect long weekend getaway!!

Sue’s place was accurately advertised, a peaceful home in beautiful surroundings. Sue is a thoughtful and responsive host.

beautiful unit with your own private garden and outdoor sitting..the unit itself is done up tastefully and was huge for 2 persons. the property has. beautiful pool and quaint gardens onsite. there is also a shortcut to the lagoon at the rear of the property, where we spent hours walking in the water and enjoying the sunset. absolutely spectacular place on leisure island!

Beautiful, luxurious house with the most breathtaking view, right in the river. The stay exceeded our expectations and the generosity of the owner is really worth a mention - everything the family enjoys at this special place was put to our disposal, from the canoe to the coffee machine, binoculars etc etc. Luxurious bedding and beautifully renovated bathrooms made this stay a true 5-star experience. Communication with the friendly host was seamless. Thank you for a memorable stay…can’t wait to return.

We planned a riverside getaway with some friends and a boat. House has a lovely deck overlooking the river and floating jetty- we spend many hours there. The house itself is really well suited for a family. It has ample outdoor furniture and deck space to enjoy. The Nespresso machine was a treat. The area is safe and quiet, neighbours are close, but never felt intrusive. The house has access to a well kept slipway- launching a smallish boat with a 4x4 was pretty straight forward. Reaching the house with a 2x4 is possible, but would recommend using a 4x4.

I booked on behalf of my daughter. She highly recommends this place. beautiful views! There is so much to do. The cottage is stunning and has everything you need. I will definitely put this place on my to-do list!

Michelle’s place was a dream! Even though we were there for the weekend of a Wedding, filled with events, the area is so beautiful that we were still able to enjoy a hike and dip in the dam the morning of the wedding. The house is super cozy and accommodating, and Michelle was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The location of the place is the best we could have asked- both very close to the wedding venue by car, but totally submerged in nature, so that it feels like a far out escape. definitely recommend this place!

What a place! We enjoyed it so much! Nicholas went out of his way to make our stay there pleasant. From little chocolates to a fridge full of food. ♥️ They where super friendly and welcoming!

Lovely place situated on the beach. Beautiful beach and serene surroundings. We would definitely return. Note: Pet Friendly: I would not recommend the place for big dogs, the enclosed backyard is very small and the front of the house is open.

It was very relaxing and peaceful at Taryn’s place. Loved being in nature. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It is so wonderful to see a business invest in improving the environment by planting indigenous trees and preventing soil erosion, setting up eco friendly camping sites. The only issue was the solar power and inverter system which did not power up the fridge for more than 4 hours. Other than that we had a lovely stay - thank you Taryn!

Rose is an amazing host, and our stay at Lalapanzi was perfect—just wish we had booked for longer! Rose and her team surprised me with a delicious chocolate cake for my birthday, which made our experience even more special! Everyone at Lalapanzi is so friendly, and the environment is incredibly calm. We enjoyed a beautiful walk to the vineyard and dam, with stunning views all around. Rose also recommended Idiom Restaurant for lunch, and it was impeccably beautiful. The lodge is clean, cozy, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. Thank you, Rose and team—we will definitely be back!

A well equipped, rustic farm cottage in a beautiful setting, the pool and braai area is a great amenity and the conservancy was great for walks. Friendly hosts that made us feel welcome! Will definitely visit again.

Superb gateway for a relaxing, peaceful & a lazy vacation. or a perfect resting day while driving through the famous Garden Route in South Africa. you can enjoy the whole day even not going anywhere around with inhouse activities like kayaking in the river, swimming and all. Required amenities like groceries and restaurants are all close by.

We had a great time at this amazing venue. The nature and birdlife surrounding the coffee cabin made it feel super peaceful and relaxing. Just a short distance from the beach with an amazing view of the river. Would highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing getaway.

The Cabin is amazing, spotless anf has everything you need. Its a little further off the road than I expected and would def recommend 4x4 if its wet. Would be useful to know that you cannot use a hair dryer at the cabin - just for info. Would have so loved the hot tub to have been lit for us arriving as it was a little cold - perhaps a service that could be offered at extra charge
