We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

We were a group of friends away for a 30th birthday celebration and this house was perfect! So pleased with everything the house had too offer! From the very beginning Andrew was very approachable, responsible and so friendly!! Would definitely recommend !!!

A great base for me and my elderly parents to stay while visiting relatives in Shaldon and Teignmouth. Coast Cottage’s added benefit of a parking permit (at the GP surgery opposite on evenings and weekends) helped keep parking worries to a minimum. Lovely cottage, super clean, well equipped and pleasantly furnished. Will not hesitate to return.

A lovely place to stay for a few days get away just 5 mins drive or 25 min walk down to the beach. Easy reach of Honinton for my sky dive and 15 minutes from the sandy beach at Lyme Regis. Lynne was a great host and her place was lovely and clean and relaxing and I will definitely return next year.

From initial queries through to booking and arrival, Andy was really helpful and friendly. The cottage is so cosy and unique, with a great location, peaceful surroundings, walking distance to the Druids Arms (great food) and Stone Circles. A really great find: attention to detail, homely feel, quality beds and pillows and linen: very comfortable. 7 of us stayed and cooked together and there was great kitchen facilities and plenty of room for us to eat together in the dining room and relax by the wood burner in the living room. We absolutely loved our stay. The view was just stunning and being so near the sea was peaceful and relaxing. Anything we needed was nearby and we had such a great week. Accommodation was clean, spacious, and every detail was thought of. Would definitely love to come back here.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this seaside accommodation in Lyme Regis! The place was spotless and beautifully presented, with a modern, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a joy. The view from the property was simply stunning—overlooking the bay and the iconic Cobb, we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop. The location was perfect—just a short stroll to the sea, making it incredibly convenient for walks along the beach or exploring the charming town. A special mention to our host, Tristan, who was so thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay. He went above and beyond, including a lovely gift basket upon arrival, which was a wonderful touch. His local recommendations were spot-on, including the Kiosk for great breakfast bagels and coffee, making our visit even more memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and would definitely return. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful last-minute half-term getaway at this lovely cottage in November. It was just me, my wife, and our 7-year-old, and the accommodation was perfect for us. Janice, couldn’t have been more welcoming. She was kind enough to allow a very late check-in and was flexible with a late check-out, which we really appreciated. The cottage itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities as listed. Janice even stocked it with tea, coffee, and milk, which was a nice touch! The location is fantastic—ideal for exploring the scenic Dorset countryside and the stunning Jurassic Coast. Janice recommended some lovely walks! The drive from the cottage to Weymouth was breathtakingly scenic and highly recommended. Plenty of great places to eat nearby. We especially loved the delicious fish & chips at The Anchor Inn in Seatown! For a cozy, authentic experience, we also recommend West Bay Tearooms in Bridport, a charming family run spot. Overall a fantastic stay :)
