Vacation rentals with a fireplace in West Lothian

David was always available quickly with advice on the phone. Check in and check out went smoothly without him being present. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, 15 minute walk from Falkirk High train station (the main route between Edinburgh and Glasgow). From the house we had a great walk to the Falkirk Wheel in the morning, about 20 minutes through nature along the canal. Then we continued on foot to Camelon station and then took the train to visit Stirling Castle (15 min). We were back in the evening. Great trip.

The hotel is nice and cozy. I had good experience.

A beautiful house in the most peaceful surroundings but five minutes drive from all amenities. The house is extremely spacious with high quality beds and bedding plus standout baths, making the stay feel really luxurious. There was no clutter and the house was spotless - a real home away from home for those visiting central Scotland. It was a memorable stay and we would have happily stayed longer!

We were met by Robbie on the Thursday who showed us around and explained everything we needed to know. The house is a beautiful place full of character. It's very spacious and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. Our hosts were fantastic, very helpful and responded to our messages promptly. We had the added bonus of the hot tub and sauna room in the garden which was great on a chilly winters night. We were a group of lads who had come to Scotland to watch the rugby and having such a wonderful place to stay made it very special. Thank you to you both for helping to make our trip a memorable one, and if you'll have us we would love to come and stay again one day. Thanks again

Everything we could have needed and many luxury extras and treats. Super comfy beds. Really handy location with a lovely selection of local businesses and easy (driving) access to train service to Edinburgh. Spectacular view of the bridges.

Great house, perfect for a hen party. Everything we needed, pool and hot tub were great although we couldn’t get many bubbles in the hot tub. Other than that tiny thing, we had a great stay and would stay again

Absolutely loved our stay. Worth the money if you want to be well located. It is a unique experience staying here and defintely made our trip more special.

What a cosy, cheerful place to come back to after our days exploring Edinburgh. Ross met us at check-in and helped us to get up the stairs with our bags. Super responsive and always available when we had questions. Ross checked in on us multiple times throughout the stay as well. The bed was really comfortable and everything really easy to keep warm while we were there over a very icy new years! Great to have the space of separate kitchen and living rooms. Bathroom very compact but well-equipped. Kitchen and pantry super well-stocked, everything we could need to prep our own food when we wanted. Location is not the fanciest in the city but super accessible for buses with a stop just a couple of minutes walk away. 10min walk up to the Royal Mile and about 20min to the Castle. Ross was an incredible host, so friendly, warm, and helpful with so many recommendations for places to eat and visit. Would absolutely recommend.

The apartment is easy access to the transport lines, restaurants and pubs around it are very good and it is possible to do everything on foot. The house makes a little noise at night from the wood, but the house is cozy. I recommend it.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Susan & Amit was smooth and prompt, loved the fresh baked pastries! The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay extended stay . The location was perfect, We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. The castle view is incredible! Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Susan & Amit and their property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Stuarts place. for my first time visiting Scotland the location was fantastic, right in the centre of old town. lovely restaurant right downstairs which was so convenient. Thanks for a fantastic experience of Edinburgh

Such a beautiful apartment! the views from the balcony didn't disappoint, sitting outside for breakfast wrapped up in the winter sunshine listening to the water flow was just beautiful and a great way to start our days. It took about 15 minutes to walk to Prince street and 30 minutes to walk to the train station but with plenty to look at the time flew by. We also walked along the river walk which was beautiful.

The Castle Boutique was in an absolutely amazing location. Walk right out the door onto the Royal Mile and just 5 minutes up to the Edinburgh Castle, or 5 minutes down to Grass Market or the lower Royal Mile. Also an easy walk with luggage from the Waverley Station. Charlotte was a wonderful host. Very accommodating and responsive. Allowed us to store luggage early before check-in and late after check-out, even though there were same day reservation on both ends. We definitely recommend Castle Boutique and Charlotte to anyone visiting Edinburgh and we will be back as well.

Great place to stay and have a break for a few days. Plenty of things to locally and only a 15 minute drive into Glasgow.

Great location and it was easy to get to town centre as there is bus stop around the corner. Bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was very clean. Suzanne recommended some great cafes and restaurants
