Great stay at Simon’s penthouse for a long birthday weekend. A large space with everything you could need. The terrace and hot tub were incredible and a sun trap from morning to evening with great views. A stones throw from Southwell high street and the minster. Simon was very helpful moving the booking forward a week at the last minute and was quick to respond to any requests during the stay. There are a few things that need fixing or updating but all in all a top notch apartment in a great location, and nothing that detracted from the enjoyment of a great weekend with family.

Thank you for your great dinner recommendations after our Sunday night stay, little shops open to buy anything to cook so Paul kindly suggested some great places with directions- and the food was Divine! Beautifully decorated with magnificently high ceilings. Gary the owner,et us promptly and orientated us. Perfect for our needs. Had dinner at an amazing local gem - ‘Hearth’ which needs awarding with stars from all the top foodie guides!

We loved our stay in this perfect city centre location. The apartment was spotless and the instructions to get in were exactly as detailed. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen had everything we could need. The bathroom was also good and the shower hot. The welcome card, tea, coffee and biscuits were also a nice touch. Zoe was great with her communication and we would be very happy to return. Thank you.

We booked the apartment very last minute as a little getaway. The photos looked great and the apartment did not disappoint. It was spotless. Lots of room and just very very homely. I am recovering from an op and this place was just the tonic. The accommodation and added hot tub were just what I needed. 100% would recommend. Harry was on hand 24/7 and made us feel right at home. Set in a beautiful location with lovely surroundings. I will definitely be visiting again and have recommended to friends and family. Thank you Harry

Great little space for my short stay. I was running the Boston marathon so this was perfectly situated within minutes of the start (also meaning you can avoid queuing up for the loo, total bonus), and use the compact little kitchen area to cook up your pre-race food just as you want. Was the perfect space to chill out in.

Sarbjit’s place is definitely worth the high recommendations it has. Clean, comfy, cosy. And very reasonably priced. As a bonus there was a TV that wasn’t in the listing. I’ve stayed in far worse places for far more money, this was excellent value. The pizza place and the Indian Takeaway beside and below are great. There’s a local Co-Op just over the road too. Larger shops are a short drive away. Doncaster itself is 15 minutes, Sheffield around 35 minutes.

I did not stay at Lucy's house, but booked for friends. All of them were super-impressed with the house. They thought that it was quirky and interesting. They loved the books and the decor. Also pleasantly surprised to be given a generous breakfast, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Also they commented on how comfortable the beds are. Very convenient for town, with a bus literally minutes from the house. Also a useful Co-Op at the end of the road.

Celebrating my birthday we came away for the weekend to Andy’s place. It was lovely and peaceful and the lodge was in a great location close to woodhall spa but not too busy or noisy. The lodge itself was perfect for my family and dog and had everything we needed inside. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a busy day walking and visiting different places.
