Vacation rentals with a fire pit in West Lafayette

If you are looking for a place that feels like home this is the house for you! A very cozy and comfortable home to share with your family. Jennifer and Stephanie were very sweet and very accommodating to our needs. Extremely clean, open and decorated very nicely. I would rate this the best house I have rented and will be looking forward to renting again!

Charity’s house was very comfortable for our family of five. We were surprised by how roomy it was and it had small thoughtful touches to make our stay more pleasant—coffee, tea, snacks, ample towels and comfortable bedding. The place was spotless and well decorated. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Purdue.

We were attending the Purdue graduation and the place was perfect for us! Very close to the Purdue campus. An amazingly well stocked kitchen and lots of thoughtful touches. We had fun playing the games that were available including a foosball and ping pong table. Jodi was very responsive and even left us a little gift for the graduate. Highly recommend staying here when you’re in West Lafayette!!

Not my first time staying at Jenny’s place and definitely will not be my last. Always a great host! Even with my groups last minute request to book the house she was so accommodating. This house has a great area for parking. Our group always travels with trailers and we never had an issue here. Thanks Jenny!

Our family had an relaxing and restful stay while attending an area basketball tournament. There was plenty of comfortable sleeping for my husband and I and our 4 adult children. The home was laid out in such an inviting, cozy way, such that there was plenty of space to watch movies and play games together and still not feel like we weren't crowded! Amy has thought of everything...the amenities were so nice! We didn't have to worry about running to the store for anything! I'm sure the area is gorgeous during summer and fall but we still really enjoyed the lakeviews and trees even though the weather was rainy and cold while we were visiting. It almost felt like we were in a superbly decorated treehouse!! I just really loved the layout of the whole house! We would definitely stay again!

We loved this place. It's exactly as described and exactly what we were looking for. Our host was awesome and incredibly knowledgeable about the historical aspects if the property (again, exactly what we were hoping for!) I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful, serene environment. I enjoyed sitting on the bank of the canal and watching the geese go through their nightly regime. My husband and I spent the night here with our 16 year old, 11 year old, and 8 year old. Truly a memorable experience that will be cherished by my family!

The cabin was fantastic. It was clean, cute and quaint. Ours (Surveyor’s Cabin) had a great view of the river and sunrise. The walk to the bathrooms/showers was very short and convenient. The restroom/shower facilities were very clean with plenty of room. In addition, there were electrical outlets close by for any needs that you might have. It is a camping experience, so expect to hear the sounds of nature and early riser hiking enthusiasts. I’d definitely would stay here again.

Overall we were very happy to stay in Mary Ann’s cabin. It was very peaceful in the country. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Also, there were some good places to eat nearby. I’d highly recommend staying there.

Staying on the canal is such a treat. The cabin is rustic, for sure, but the touches added, like a little broom and two adorable caned chairs make it very homey. Cushions are essential for the beds, but I had brought my own so sleeping on the bunk was cozy. The bathrooms and shower are kept very clean. The shower has great water pressure. Both are a big bonus after a night around the campfire. I was lucky to be able to extend my stay by a day because it’s such a good value. Watching the sunrises on the meadow in the morning from the porch was very refreshing.

Unlike other BnB’s, Lois provides a binder with all the information about the property and what to do and not. She has a guest book about your stay and you can view past visitors experience. Everyone was great! Nice cozy rustic log cabin. Stocked with games, dvd’s, books all the amenities that you need. Great for just adults and kids. We went in winter and stayed inside but lots of outdoor areas that would be great if weather permitting. Lois

We had a great time at the Rustic Farmhouse. We gathered for a family get together and really enjoyed this beautiful home. There are lots of unique touches that make you feel like you're in an updated farmhouse. We had plenty of bedrooms and lots of common space for games and enjoying each other's company. The kitchen is roomy and we were able to cook and share meals together around the large farmhouse table in the dining room. Bedrooms are well appointed with plenty of space and the configuration of bathrooms to bedrooms works well. We also have three little ones with our group and we had plenty of space for them to "hit the hay" early without worrying about waking them up. We had a great time and created some awesome memories. Highly recommend this to others!
