Farmstay vacation rentals in West Coast of the United States

This was our fourth visit to the farmhouse, and it was just as good as the first. Our kids love greeting the animals and feeding them approved treats. The serenity of the property is unmatched, we look forward to this trip every year. I love the peacefulness and proximity to the state and county parks where I went kayaking most mornings of our visit—lots of protected water and marine life to observe. The host is gracious and always welcomes our kids to share her love and engagement with her farm animals. Our kids talk about the animals all year long :)

Second visit to the cob house- so magical! Learned a hard lesson about the ferries this trip. Forgot to reserve when I booked the stay. I highly recommend reserving your ferry as soon as you decide to stay on Mayne. We managed to get on as stand by, but the stress of not knowing really marred the zen-mode for me. Also, bring a speaker for listening to beautiful music while enjoying the views!

Great location to introduce visiting family members to wine country. The wine and food options within the vicinity of the house were plenty. The home was welcoming and comfortable. Great views of the lake and great outdoor space to chill.

This was such a lovely weekend stay with Lauren and Mack! The babe goats were so, so cute and this stay made me want to own some myself. They walked us through so many activities: making sourdough, cheese, pasta, milking the mama goats, feeding the baby goats, and they cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast. I feel like I learned so much and walked away with an even greater appreciation for food! Highly, highly recommend this experience - once in a lifetime and with the loveliest people I've ever met!

The magic Field house..all the natural light, cozy window seats and radiating wood stove, conversations and inclusion with Faith and David. Friendly and welcoming. Every morning bird life, frogs and evening owls, stars, and moon, wind and rain. This is a special place! I am so grateful for this opportunity to reconnect with my Wild Woman. Hiking. The property loop trail, or Chadwick Hill trail. I am returning home with a renewed connection to my soul! Thank you to Faith and David.

We felt very comfortable during our stay here. The home was warm, the linens were cozy, and there was plenty of space in every room. I recommend taking the time for a peaceful walk around the farm. The goats are particularly entertaining :) The heart of Bend is about 20 mins away. Mt Bachelor is about 40 mins away. Donna offers many great suggestions for local restaurants and groceries. Note that this space is attached to the main house, but it feels completely private! Donna is friendly and helped us when we needed it :) She is also a fantastic baker! The homemade peach almond bread was a delightful welcome gift.

Ms. Susan property is large and beautiful, our family of 7 enjoyed her estate so much and will plans to stay longer in the future.

we LOVED our stay with Bernadette and Greg. The Lavender Cottage was cozy, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean. I so appreciated every little decorative and hospitable detail of the space. The ranch itself is a dream come true, beautiful, spacious and with plenty of animals for our toddler to enjoy. As a working mom, it was especially important to have plenty of space/activities to entertain our child while also feeling like I can relax! A huge bonus was the Skin Spa -- It was a huge treat to be taken care of by Bernadette's expertise. The Ranch Manager, Fidencio, was so friendly and accommodating any time our baby wanted to spend time with the animals. The ranch was only 10-15 minutes away from Solvang and Los Olivos (and other areas that we didnt get to visit), so it was easy to make small trips into town and come back to the ranch to rest at any point of the day. We are so excited to come back soon!!

Loved, loved, loved Virginias home. Was big and clean. Beautiful home! Lots of room. I’ve been dealing with cancer all year and it was so nice to be there! Was so happy that we went and spent Christmas there. Virginia decorated with some nice Christmas decorations. Had such a wonderful time. A very warm and relaxing place!

I cannot say enough about Greg and Gina’s place! I was blown away by how peaceful and beautiful everything was. The property is so special. The animals are such a joy it’s impossible to say goodbye! I went for a short getaway and felt so safe, had everything I needed inside to cook or make tea. I slept like an angel the bed was so comfortable and cozy. Greg and Gina are the most welcoming, responsive, helpful, personable hosts and some of the warmest people I’ve met in this state. Don’t hesitate to come here for a perfect getaway in the cutest town. ❤️

Perfect country farmhouse! Kid-friendly and amazing views. Dawn was incredibly helpful and always available if we had a question. My kids loved the spa and feeding the goats. I would definitely recommend the house to others!

Vineyard house exceeded our expectations for our birthday celebration. Restaurant on the property was excellent, from the flatbreads to burger and the pasta special, all were tasty & enjoyed (party of 14). Perfect place to stay w some friends, but also invite others who were not staying on the property. The new Pops place is perfect for families with littles to seniors, corn hole, swing set & more. Our grandchildren loved the petting animals area. On our 2 night stay, we were not able to get to some things, the tractor ride, pick from the garden, or take the shuttle to the Maverick saloon in the evening. So much to do for a weekend stay, we couldn’t get to it all. Definitely will book again!

Jean was very flexible with us on the check in and check out times to accommodate our work and travel schedules. We appreciated the responsiveness to our requests to modify those times as well.

I stayed for a few days and Greg and Lindy were super nice and so sweet! Greg gave me a little tour of the farm and explained their story and processes beautifully. This location was the perfect distance from the beach and other activities I was interest in. I’d definitely book this place again.

We really enjoyed our time at Capaldi Ranch and Daphne's place. We felt comfortable and our kids loved getting to know the animals on the ranch. We did the farm tour which really helped personalize our experience even more. Kim was a great host! The Capaldi team was very responsive to our questions and needs. They went above and beyond! We look forward to a return stay soon.

This farmhouse was so perfectly placed, surrounded by vineyards and great views. It had everything we could need and was well stocked. Appreciated the beautiful glassware/dish ware. The best part was the highland cow and family of goats that we got to feed food scraps to every day. Overall, very peaceful and had beautiful sunsets.

We have stayed here three times in the last thirteen months and will keep coming back. It's quiet, private, comfortable and the setting is beautiful. Charlotte and her husband, Val, are welcoming and helpful. It is a convenient location for exploring the surrounding area with plenty to see and do.

We had a great stay at Corey’s ranch. The house had everything we needed for our retreat so it worked out perfectly. I would definitely rebook if we find ourselves back in the area!

This is our second stay with Mark. It was every bit as wonderful as it was the first time! The property is beautifully nestled amongst farms and vineyards. The Airbnb is a separate little cottage on a property with Mark's house, and many adorable farm animals. The Airbnb is beautifully appointed with decorations and amenities that match the peacefulness and serenity of the property. Mark is extremely responsive and friendly, and strives to ensure that our stay is perfect. If you want to enjoy all of your meals in the cottage, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you will need. Otherwise, if you want to venture out, many great restaurants are just a short drive away. We can't wait to visit Mark and his Airbnb again sometime soon!

I HIGHLY recommend this house. Especially for families and good friends. Having only 2 bathrooms, you must feel comfortable with who you're staying with. The only issue we had was primarily with the countertop stove. Turning it on and off was like launching a rocket - LOL! We had a GREAT Stay here!

We came up to Clovis with our daughter for the high school cross country state championships. Dida and Mitch's place was a lovely home base for all of our local needs. They were very communicative, friendly and helpful at a moment's notice. We enjoyed the overall farm vibe and especially the peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
