Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

Sara and Tom we’re incredibly attentive and very helpful. They responded very quickly to my questions which allowed me to make the best out of our time in their gorgeous little abode. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and had excellent amenities. The coffee (kept in the fridge for freshness) was delicious and we received complimentary breakfast before we left for home. We were really pleased with the location. Thank you, Sara, Tom and Ted, for looking after us so brilliantly.

Sarah was very pleasant and helpful. She greeted us when we arrived, and gave us our room key and clear instructions on where we could park for free a minute's walk away, and how to get into Whitby town centre. There were lots of leaflets and information in the entrance area about the local attractions. Our room (6) was on the top floor and was clean and spacious - with a double and a single bed, en-suite shower, plenty of storage space, a sink in the room, mirrors and plenty of sockets. Towels and toiletries were provided. The room was heated well, with a good radiator. The guest house was full at the time of staying as it was Whitby Goth Weekend, but guests were quiet with their movements. A basket was provided for easy key drop off in the morning. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Lovely guest house, really kind and responsive host who advised us clearly about parking. Close walk to beach and rest of Whitby’s sights. We had a wonderful trip and would absolutely stay again!

Would give the cottage and Kitty, our host, a million stars if we could! From the beautiful landscape to the cozy cottage, we loved every minute of our stay. Kitty recommended lots of great restaurants and shops in nearby villages which we enjoyed checking out. Their are walking trails right off the property. We spotted all kinds of birds, deer, and loved the horses and cows nearby. The cottage is decorated so lovely and having a fire in the evening was such a comfort. It's very clean and supplied well with kitchen utensils, coffee, etc. We were genuinely sad to leave! We hope to be back soon, if Kitty will have us! Can't recommend a stay here enough, you will have a wonderful time!

Lovely caravan - easy check-in with lockbox, and parking space next to caravan. Lots of extra thoughtful touches inside that made it feel very home-from-home (board games, DVDs, even a jar of biscuits!), extra blankets, lovingly decorated, and the essentials were there too so we could get comfortable straight away (I’ve stayed in some places where there wasn’t even one toilet roll, hand soap, or washing up liquid!) The location was nice, The view out of the lounge window of the sea was lovely, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The site shop etc obviously wasn’t open as it’s out of season, but local shops are a short drive away. Two toilets is a lifesaver with children. The two doors into the main bathroom from the hall and the master bedroom gave us a giggle as I thought it was a cupboard - remember to lock both doors if using the main toilet haha! But space-wise, it is a clever idea. Midday checkout was really useful too, less rush! Would definitely stay again, thanks for having us!

Lovely house. Place is bigger than the pictures shown. Easy check in and Hollie was responsive to messages. Kitchen is well equipped to cook and the garden was secure for the dog. Quiet area yet close enough to amenities. Would stay here again.

We valued having a peaceful place to stay within easy reach of the hospital for visiting a close relative. It was very quiet and comfortable and we appreciated kitchenette provision with microwave, induction hob, toaster and kettle etc and also somewhere to relax on nice seating downstairs. The loft area was ideal with good shower etc and quality bedding that gave us a good night's sleep. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the heating worked well so we were kept lovely and warm. Finally we appreciated the breakfast provision which was left for us. We came by car and parked on the drive but we do use rail sometimes and have railcards so the station nearby might be handy for some future visit.

Very spacious clean and modern and comfortable . Especially liked the warmth of the heating as very cold outside . Bedrooms large Easy access to Malton the food hub of Yorkshire plenty of great restaurants and 2 hours free parking . Happy to recommend and would stay again 5 stars

Byron was extremely responsive and helpful after our original accommodation fell through and throughout our stay. The cottage is cosy and has everything you could need. It's in a beautiful, peaceful, setting and walking distance to Staithes.

Tom and Rachel were great hosts and very friendly, as was Stanley, their lovely labradoodle. The cottage was compact, warm and comfortable and thoughtfully decorated in a shabby chic style, and the bed was very comfortable. It is set in a very quiet and beautiful tiny village complete with village green and duck pond. We had days out to Fountains Abbey and Castle Howard, both less than an hour’s drive away.

Very warm, comfortable and quiet room, with thoughtful touches. Excellent kitchen facilities and dining room, all immaculately clean.

walkable to York. we were given a map and instructions on things to do in York. Great price and had all we needed. easy stay.

Our first time using Airbnb and it was perfect. Graeme and Helen were extremely helpful and perfect hosts. Showed us round on arrival and then left us to our own devices unless we had a question. Lovely touches like home free range hens eggs, milk, chocolate and snacks along with tea and coffee waiting for us. The location is perfect. The hot tub was spotless and a pleasure to use. You can park very securely outside the accommodation. Dog walking in the field next to the garden makes it easy. Cannot wait to return.

We stayed here to celebrate New years 2024/2025. Great location local to amenities! The house was as looked and described as online. The place was clean and tidy fresh bedding fresh towels. Home from home. We will definitely be returning, thankyou again.

We had a great stay. The place was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Check in was easy and communication was excellent. We'd recommend the place to anyone visiting York.

Amazing get away for me and the family are new home from home. Antony the host went above and beyond and took time out to show us around the farm and to meet all the animals. If your kids love been outside its the perfect place for them

Cosy cottage, beds including sofa bed very comfortable, good shower, kitchen stocked with basic provisions which was great as rural location. Would definitely stay again :)
