Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

Sara and Tom we’re incredibly attentive and very helpful. They responded very quickly to my questions which allowed me to make the best out of our time in their gorgeous little abode. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and had excellent amenities. The coffee (kept in the fridge for freshness) was delicious and we received complimentary breakfast before we left for home. We were really pleased with the location. Thank you, Sara, Tom and Ted, for looking after us so brilliantly.

Sarah was very pleasant and helpful. She greeted us when we arrived, and gave us our room key and clear instructions on where we could park for free a minute's walk away, and how to get into Whitby town centre. There were lots of leaflets and information in the entrance area about the local attractions. Our room (6) was on the top floor and was clean and spacious - with a double and a single bed, en-suite shower, plenty of storage space, a sink in the room, mirrors and plenty of sockets. Towels and toiletries were provided. The room was heated well, with a good radiator. The guest house was full at the time of staying as it was Whitby Goth Weekend, but guests were quiet with their movements. A basket was provided for easy key drop off in the morning. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We loved our stay over the New Year! Kitty was an excellent host and very helpful ,with brilliant recommendations. The cottage was perfect with all listed amenities and clear instructions. The surrounding area was particularly beautiful with friendly locals who suggested walks and restaurants. We cannot wait to return at some point in the summer! Thank you xx

Lovely caravan - easy check-in with lockbox, and parking space next to caravan. Lots of extra thoughtful touches inside that made it feel very home-from-home (board games, DVDs, even a jar of biscuits!), extra blankets, lovingly decorated, and the essentials were there too so we could get comfortable straight away (I’ve stayed in some places where there wasn’t even one toilet roll, hand soap, or washing up liquid!) The location was nice, The view out of the lounge window of the sea was lovely, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The site shop etc obviously wasn’t open as it’s out of season, but local shops are a short drive away. Two toilets is a lifesaver with children. The two doors into the main bathroom from the hall and the master bedroom gave us a giggle as I thought it was a cupboard - remember to lock both doors if using the main toilet haha! But space-wise, it is a clever idea. Midday checkout was really useful too, less rush! Would definitely stay again, thanks for having us!

Lovely house. Place is bigger than the pictures shown. Easy check in and Hollie was responsive to messages. Kitchen is well equipped to cook and the garden was secure for the dog. Quiet area yet close enough to amenities. Would stay here again.

Very spacious clean and modern and comfortable . Especially liked the warmth of the heating as very cold outside . Bedrooms large Easy access to Malton the food hub of Yorkshire plenty of great restaurants and 2 hours free parking . Happy to recommend and would stay again 5 stars

The cottage was excellent and Byron was super friendly and responsive. It is up a steep track but we managed it in the van - there is also the option to park at the bottom. Such a peaceful location in its own private valley. This was a gem of a find. It was clod when we were there and lighting the fire early was a must. Shower was really good!

Lovely, clean and spacious place. It was very comfortable and easy to feel at home in. 25ish minute drive from the centre of York so very easy to get there. Will definitely book again when I’m in the area. Thank you.

Great stay. Clean and perfect, well located

Georgias place was perfect for our 2 night stay. Georgia helped us out with the parking quickly as I’d missed asking about this before arriving. The space is clean, fresh, and Micklegate easy walking distance in to town. I haven’t stayed in a room in a house before and was a bit nervous to do so, but this wasn’t necessary. The bedroom area has enough space for 2 and the additional sitting room is a gorgeous added bonus. We loved York and would recommend Skosh for dinner which was pretty much across the road and the reason for our break!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Nicola's Guest Suite. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. The situation of the property was ideal for our trips around Nidderdale. It was set down a quiet lane with easy access to the man roads. Communications with Nichola were very smooth as she sent detailed and thorough instructions to find the property. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Absolutely amazing, we couldn’t fault a single thing we had everything we needed it was perfect. It was amazing price, extremely clean, huge garden with hot tub and secure for the dogs. Massively recommend we will definitely booking again in the future! Also love the little added touches fresh eggs from their hens, little hamper of cereals and snacks and milk in the fridge. Also love the robes and slippers for the hot tub! Thankyou for the most amazing stay and not to mention the hosts were so welcoming too and available if you needed them x

We stayed here to celebrate New years 2024/2025. Great location local to amenities! The house was as looked and described as online. The place was clean and tidy fresh bedding fresh towels. Home from home. We will definitely be returning, thankyou again.

10 min walk to town centre along the river, not crowded but easy access to town ans shops, definitelt great choice for a night or two for visiting York.

We stayed 2 nights at Honeybee Lodge. The lodge was easy to find. Check-in was simple. The Lodge is on a quiet park with 2 fantastic restaurants close by. Everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable was available. There's plenty of space for 4 and I'm sure that when the weather is better that the decking area would be a superb spot for evening dining. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. A great base for exploring York and the surrounding areas.
