Cottage vacation rentals in West Bexington

We wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely cottage and pretty country location. The garden was ideal for a dog as it was safely fenced around. My dog was incredibly happy sniffing around the area when we were outside sitting at the garden table. We didn't have time to use the Jacuzzi although it looked very inviting. Would recommend to other dog owners or walkers alike!

Fantastic place to stay! Our family loved every second and was even more wonderful than what we were expecting especially as this was booked for a surprise birthday weekend away. Hosts were friendly and kept us up to date if they need to. Instructions, and helpful guides were given. Can’t recommend this place and hosts enough. Thank you for a fabulous stay! Roberts Family

Great location, only a short drive away from pubs and restaurants. Very peaceful surrounding. Amy was friendly and helpful. The place itself is decorated beautifully with all the amenities you would need.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It was clean, cosy and the welcome goodies were a lovely touch and much appreciated. The hot tub was a perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and under cover (we got lucky with beautiful weather but this would’ve been great even if it rained!). Our dog enjoyed the secure garden and we appreciated knowing he could roam the garden safely. The cottage is in a great location, just a short drive from the sea, and Ruth provided great recommendations for local places to eat and visit. We went to the Sculpture Park by the lake which was beautiful! We’d love to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Nest. A beautiful home, super clean with lovely surroundings. We got a bit lost on arrival (even though our friends made it there with no issue!) and Sarah came out in her car to find us - what a lovely host! Sarah’s thoughtful additions to the property of stair gates, toys and even children’s cutlery made two families travelling with small children that much easier and we are so grateful! Thank you so much, we will be back again!

A lovely property close enough to get to places within half an hour but out the way enough to be quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surrounding and beautifully kept property as described and spotless. Jane was lovely and close if we needed any help and always friendly and helpful. Just lovely place would 100% recommend and stay again if ever in the area again.

We enjoyed our stay at Vine Cottage. The place had a home from home feel, was clean and well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. Lovely big towels, fresh white bed linen and comfy beds. The outside area was lovely and we loved the hot tub. Check in/out was straight forward and Gill (and family) were very helpful and responded promptly before and during our stay. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely Easter Weekend, with the house ticking all the boxes! It is fully equipped with everything you need and the best distance we’ve ever had to the local pub!! It was about a 25 minute drive to Lyme Regis and a great location for exploring the area! Alison’s communication was extremely quick throughout our stay and the check in was really clear and simple. Would definitely recommend a stay here ☺️

We loved this cottage. It was close to the centre but it’s position made it feel tucked away from the main village. We loved the views and the feeling of spaciousness that looking down across the village gave us. We loved the cosy living room and the log burning effect gas fire was very realistic. The larder was very convenient for extra storage as we cooked every evening we stayed. We hope to come and stay again.

We had a nice relaxing break. It was a lovely cottage with beautiful surroundings. Sally was available for us when we needed anything. The directions she gave made it very easy to find. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Julie's place was a fantastic place to stay during our time in Portland. The place was spotless, smelt nice and had all the amenities and items you might need for your stay. Locally, the walks are absolutely breathtaking! Some of the best views I have seen anywhere! There are a few food shops and takeaways locally, all fairly priced and good food. We will definitely return!

Rowan Barn is just as described in the listing, if not better. The house is very comfortable and in a great location, with a small private garden with views over the coastal hills and golden cap and a larger communal space for the use of guests at the other properties. It was lovely to be able to walk from the house with many paths to choose from and a reliable and frequent buses at the end of the lane. An easy walk to seatown and the anchor pub. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have already booked a return visit

We had such a great time at Caroline’s cottage, the location is stunning and the cottage felt immediately like home. Caroline has thought of everything and it’s the little touches which really made our stay, fresh local milk in the fridge, lovely soaps, shower gels etc. Extra rugs and a spare lead for our dog, and even a bat detector which our son really enjoyed. Overall a fab experience, we’ll definitely be coming back

What a beautiful cosy cottage. Worked perfectly for us to spend a couple of days near Honiton. Would definitely stay again :)

This was a perfect place to stay for our family of four. Our daughters especially enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was clean, with beautiful surroundings and had everything we needed. It was also really lovely to be able to book my Dad into the ‘Little Stable’, which is a smaller, 2 person dwelling available to book. Fiona is a fantastic host and responded quickly to any queries. We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends.

Little Glebe was so perfect for my friends and I - two couples - as a place to stay in Dorset. The cottage itself was amazing: bright, airy, beautiful design, great views, functional kitchen, and two comfortable bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. The location was also really ideal - about a 17 minute walk to the local farm grocery store where bought all of our food to cook, and 10 minute drive to Durdle door and other great coastal walks. Sue was a wonderful host, and very warm and lovely. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Really lovely place to stay. Very friendly and welcoming. Well setup in cabin and good selection of dvds for wet weather. 4G was fine for us.

One of the best places I've ever stayed. The host laid out age appropriate toys just for my baby girl, the nursery was stunning and all the beautiful vintage toys made it feel magical. The whole property's aesthetic was carefully curated with beautiful furniture, decor and collectables, but also made you feel right at home from the first step inside. The garden was maintained to an impeccable standard and had gorgeous play equipment including the little cottage shed with playhouse set up. Listening to the birds on the morning as light poured into the living room felt heavenly. The host was very friendly and attentive throughout the whole visit, super host status very well deserved. We hope to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to get away into the countryside.

Very comfortable stay and both quiet and peaceful. Well equipped, everything worked, a fabulous wood burner (plus electric radiators) along with an ensuite for each bedroom ensured a happy long weekend. Parking for two cars very helpful indeed. My second visit in two years.

Lovely cosy cottage that everything we needed for a few days on the Isle of Purbeck. big enough for two adults and teenage sons. recommend the tea room and a great host.
