The apartment is independent, cozy and brand new, in a nice area surrounded by canals, not far from the little town center (15min walking). The apartment has nice, modern but minimal furniture and it is not meant for long stays. Fabiola is a friendly host living in the adjacent house.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely spacious apartment. The pictures already give a very positive impression but in reality it was several times bigger and more beautiful still than we had anticipated. We liked the artistic touches in the living room, the stylish finishes in the kitchen and the large and comfortable sofas. The apartment was perfectly located for family visits and we hope to come back again for our next family visit.

We really enjoyed this little house! Friendly and helpful hosts, peaceful area, lovely place for a long weekend.

We loved staying at the Captains Cabin. The property was so unique, had everything we needed & was warm & comfortable. It is in a beautiful, tranquil location & Izabela Anna was a great host. Very responsive & very informative about the property & the surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone & we will be staying again if we are in the area

Very peaceful location to stay with a nice big yard for the dogs and the added bonus of some animals wondering around. beautiful surroundings and we were met with a very friend host.

We look back on a lovely week in Huis Ewijk. We have 3 labradors (13.5 , 11 and 5 years) and a complete and solid fenced garden is therefore very important to us and that is definitely the case here. The house is very beautiful, tastefully and cozily decorated, exactly as in the pictures. Really everything has been thought of, really nothing is missing here to be able to make it a nice holiday. Upon entering the house, we were immediately pleasantly surprised by all kinds of delicacies on the table and in the fridge that Justin and Carleen (nice and attentive hosts) had prepared. Besides, not only we were surprised, there were also sweets ready for the doggies and 3 delicious pillows. The beds (really good nice beds) were already made and there are plenty of towels ready. The windows are easy to black out with roller blinds and there are mosquito screens everywhere. In any case, it is worth repeating for us, we'd love to come back again!

A nice, quiet and surrounded by greenery place. Everything is well taken care of and clean. Alan responds quickly to questions and is above all very hospitable. You will notice everything that you are welcome, with attention to detail such as snacks, drinks and flowers. Thanks for everything!

Booked one day in advance. Peter was super responsive and we had a very good time. The communication was great and enjoyed the house.

We spend a weekend in the tiny house with three friends. The campsite was wonderfully quiet, we had a private beach. Communication with the host is very easy. Friendly people, flexible on arrival and departure time. We had everything we needed. Interesting to know for the people coming from the Belgian side: GPS may send you past a ferry to reach the campsite.

The accommodation is as described,clean, well-equipped kitchen..The pool was joy for our children!Only downside for us non-smoking- the smell of cigarettes inside the house (I didn't pay attention that there was no "no smoking" in the accommodation description)..Otherwise we had a pleasant stay..

Great and comfortabel place beautifully decorated fully matching the description and photos. Very easy to communicate with the hosts who are very responsive. Hosts asked us if we would like some Christmas decoration as we stayed here over Christmas period which was very appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

We had a great time with our little dog at Angela's cabin. The accommodation offers everything you need for a few days off. The surrounding area is very quiet and you can walk well. The sauna is also great, but we did not use it. We would definitely come back.

Great hosts with a lovely house. Everything was as described and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained in detail and the hosts were quick to respond with any queries we had.

We had been looking for a location that clicked from A to Z for a while. We found that with these lovely people at this beautiful location in a gem of a cottage. We always feel completely at home here and very welcome. We used to go to the hotel to de-stress, but for us no longer hotels, this is really a home that we have never experienced anywhere else than at Bas En Liesanne. By the way, it was the second time we stayed here, the first time was in the summer and now in the winter. They are really top hosts who maintain very good communication during the stay. X

The cottage is located in the quite place with farm around. We were with our dog who enjoyed being around with different animals in the neighbourhood and we also had great time. Surprisingly, some stuff were arranged for breakfast with local egg 😍. We loved it, we will definitely come again soon.

A warm welcome by Corrie which made us feel very welcome. We had a family weekend and we enjoyed the lovely house and beautiful surroundings. We lacked nothing, everything was amply present. Very nice that we were able to reschedule the time of check-out. In short, we had a wonderful time, partly thanks to this nice house!!

It was a nice stay especially for a dog and to go fishing

A very well furnished chalet with everything you need. Our two Boston Terriers especially enjoyed the underfloor heating and the large windows with the great views. Walking with the dogs is also possible directly at the chalet and completely uncomplicated. Looking forward to seeing you again:-)
