Farmstay vacation rentals in West Africa

I had a wonderful stay! Ferid helped me with renting a car and organizing an excursion for me, and always made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay in Dakhla. The food was delicious and the art and decor was beautiful! I would definitely go back there again :)

Beautiful place. Very peaceful setting, suitable for retreat and good rest. The welcome and service is very friendly. Alioune, always available. Seynabou, very warm and excellent cook. I loved it and look forward to returning very soon.

Farid and Romano were so helpful, warm and entertaining. I travelled alone here and felt at home immediately. They helped organise many things for my stay and we had great conversations and authentic local connections. This made the experience so much richer than just staying in a hotel.

Pierre's house was located a little way out of town surrounded by beautiful green fields. It was especially nice to sit on the roof terrace and enjoy the stunning views. It was easy to get a taxi or motorbike into the town for eating out or getting a visa for Guinea Bissau. Pierre was an attentive and kind host always on hand with useful advice. And his breakfast was the best on my trip so far! I would definitely come back.

This is a dream destination. The lodge feels like a piece of art, and the beach is miraculous. Kibalaou is authentic and speaks to the heart.

It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay at the Farm - everything that you need for this kind of stay is there; and Marie-Stella and Alain are very friendly; enthusiastic people and always available and for us whenever we needed tipps; transport organisation and more info about the area. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to relax as well as the amzing food at the restaurant! Thanks again!

We had a very nice time with Jos and Marie-Stella. They have a lovely team on the farm, amazing food and a beautiful space to hang out. Only thing: it’s not super central, but the town is small, so it’s still easy to get everywhere with a cab.

My stay at Jennifer and Flo's place was incredible, I was drawn to their beautiful garden as I love green spaces, the vibrant bougainvillea, and the range of fruit trees. What's not to love? Apart from the garden, they were very organised, and were both extremely helpful at all times. This is a wonderful family environment, it's truly a home-from-home. Flo makes an incredible Hibiscus and Ginger tea(all from their garden). Jennifer is a font of knowledge when it comes to finding out information in Ghana. Mary is an incredible cook and Nicholas goes above and beyond to help. As a person who travels all over the world, generally, my reviews are on average 3 lines long, but that wouldn't do my stay here justice. I have stayed in this Airbnb three times—about a month in total. It is a great environment, complete with proximity to the water and even some pet goats. When I fell ill in my most recent stay, Joe and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. I am so grateful to have been in such a welcoming and caring guest house.
