Vacation rentals in Wembdon

Well equipped barn conversion in a great location for coastal walks, places to eat or just relaxing. The beach barn was just right for two adults and our little dog. The weather was terrible as expected but the pub is a very short walk and is cosy and dog friendly. Cardiff is a short drive if you want all the restaurants and shops that offers. Alternatively, you can just hang out and watch tv on the big screen and take a dip in the hot tub. We had some minor points that needed attention and Austin was speedy to respond and resolve any queries. The garden and decking is absolutely beautiful and I would love to visit again in the Summer to make the most of the outdoor facilities. We didn’t try the Indian restaurant or the Coastal Grill but both looked good options if you don’t want to drive.

Perfect for what we needed. Very clean and modern, great location (easy to walk into town), felt like a home from home. The electric charger for my car was a real bonus (and easy to use). Would stay again.

Beautiful house with such a homely feel, I didn’t want to leave. Hosts were always responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

We booked this at short notice and it was perfect for what we were looking for, after a very busy and stressful period we just wanted somewhere to chill and relax for a few nights. The yurt itself is well furnished and very comfortable with lots of attention to detail. There’s a decked area that leads to a bathroom and well equipped kitchen. A personal note from Camilla with a pack of biscuits and eggs was much appreciated as was the coffee, tea and milk that was in the kitchen. The weather whilst we stayed varied a lot but the yurt stayed warm and we didn’t find the need to use the log burner. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Poachers cottage was really wonderful and exactly what we had wanted. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the cottage was so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The facilities were incredible and we were very lucky to have the pool to ourselves with beautiful weather when we stayed. There was loads for our toddler to do and Adele had any bits we might need for him. I am pretty heavily pregnant and between the pool and the very comfortable beds I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and anytime I needed something, somehow it was already there in the cupboard or in the bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for more. Home made cake and local bits when we arrived and all. Honestly I’ve been so torn on whether to keep this place all to myself but I couldn’t help but rave about my holiday when I got home and have had 3 friends ask for the link to go and stay!

This was an amazing experience. Suzanne was amazing throughout. The location was ideal if and the tent was incredible. It was furnished so well, it felt like a really upmarket camping experience. Suzanne and her husband couldn’t do enough for us, even loaning us battery packs when we ran out of charged devices! The facilities, especially the kitchen, are superb. We are already planning our next trip, next year. Thanks so much.
