Vacation rentals in Wellington

The Riverside Retreat has lots of space for big groups, and it would be a good deal if your group is indeed large. For a smaller family (4), and it being wintertime, we didn't feel like we got as much bang for our buck. That said, the surroundings are lovely, and the back porch area as well as the dock and all the water toys (kayaks, peddle boat, etc.) would be super fun in warmer, drier weather.

So quiet and peaceful! Like being in a home away from home.

This was a great place to stay for a weekend peaceful nature filled get away. They provide such wonderful amenities and activities. They have thought through every detail to make it all nicely come together.

I came here with my dad and we absolutely loved our stay! I did make a minor mistake of not letting the host know our eta so when we got there I couldn't message them we were there because of the service. The interior and exterior decor were extremely nice and made it look unique. I appreciated the complementary bikes we could use! It was really nice to ride around the neighborhood! My dad and I would love to come back again another time!

The cabin was as described. We had no issues. It was perfect for our needs. Four adults and two small children. Easy to get to, just follow Julie’s instructions. The kitchen appeared to have new appliances, especially the nice refrigerator with plenty of ice for our needs. Julie was an accommodating host and made sure we were aware of the bad storm headed our way. Lots of rain and some wind, but the power stayed on the whole time. The nice size living room came in handy since we spent the storm day playing inside with the children. All four bedrooms were a nice size, and it seemed like everyone was satisfied with the comfort of the mattresses. Visited downtown Piedmont twice, Elevated Grounds both times. The main reason we selected this cabin was its proximity to the Chief Ladiga Bike Trail. The trail runs right past the end of the driveway. The cabin was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The cabin was as described in the write-up and photos. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed getting away and being around some water all weekend. We fished, kayak, swam in the lake and grilled out ! We loved the porch swing as we even took a nap after a long day in the sun! The details and decor of this cabin were absolutely beautiful & didn’t go unnoticed! We caught several brim, a couple crappie and a few catfish! We definitely can’t wait to go back! Our last day there stormed all day and we loved that we were able to still get some fishing in straight off the front porch thank you so much for having us!

Absolutely beautiful!! Clean and cozy. Matthew and Melanie were very responsive and reachable at all times. Super friendly. I didn’t even have to ask for check in instructions, directions or check in code, Melanie had already sent a message with all the info before I even left home. Would totally recommend staying here and I’m sure my family will be back soon!!

Beloved’s Rest was exactly what we needed (and didn’t even know we needed)! It was peaceful and secluded. They thought of everything that you could possibly need and had all the small details planned out. The sunsets were amazing! The owners were very helpful and responsive to messages. We can’t wait for our next trip to go back!

Trip for Talladega races was a success thanks to Tony’s place. 20-25 minutes to the super speedway wasn’t a bad drive. Wish we had time to fish since the house is next to a lake. The house itself is great! No issues at all. And the welcome basket was an unexpected, nice touch. Would stay again if we're coming back down.
