Family-friendly vacation rentals in Weissenburg in Bayern

Gaby is a phenomenal hostess. She lives close by and made sure that we were comfortable. She noticed that there was no steam from our outside exhaust vent and contacted us that the heat may be out. It was and our hot water was also affected. She fixed the problem before there was any discomfort and we didn’t even realize that there was an issue. She was also nice enough to bring her dogs by so we could visit with them and love on them. The home is charming and quiet. We visited in the winter so we didn’t use the pool but my wife and I loved the jacuzzi tub and used it nightly! There were many board games to choose from and a smart TV if we just wanted to relax at night. We didn’t see a bahnhof (train stop) in town and the nearest grocery store is in Rothenburg, about 5KM away. So you’ll need a car. I think there is a guesthaus down the road with a restaurant but your choices are very limited in the village. There are also many stairs so the house is not ADA compliant.

Lovely airbnb in a nice quiet side street. Located close to a Lidl and a great beer garden with accompanying German restaurant. We loved the hot tub and amazing decoration and had a really pleasant stay!

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

we were very satisfied. I booked the space for a family weekend We have a one-year-old with us. There were a lot of toys in the apartment, behind the house a large garden with a fleet for the little ones, slide, balls, gates, shovels - everything a child's heart desires. The apartment is large, the bedrooms are upstairs. Everything is fine. Kitchen is nice and large, a nice fireplace is also available, which provides cozy warmth. The owners live downstairs and are very helpful. We enjoyed it very much, we felt very much at home. It's very quiet. Parking right outside the door. 25 km to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and 16 km to the outdoor museum Bad Windsheim. Highly recommend accommodation for families.

I have family in the Dollnstein area that we visited for 3 weeks in July 2024. We stayed at this property and fell in love with the village. The rental property itself is nice and spacious. There were 4 adults and 1 child who stayed at the property and there was plenty of room for us all. If we needed anything, Roland was very responsive and the property manager came right away. The kitchen is a highlight-it's huge with a full-size refrigerator. It is also convenient to have a washer on site for clothes. My only recommendations would be stronger wifi throughout the home (it's spotty in some areas) and clear directions on how to use appliances and tv (there was a learning curve with those at times). Overall, the village the place is located in is a true highlight. There is a quaint soccer park/playground area that my son and I visited daily. The villagers were kind and curious about us Americans but not in a rude way. We felt safe and happy the entire stay.

Location on the outskirts of Nuremberg, 15 minutes walk to DB stop, bus stop under the house, very communicative and nice host, parking on the street, but after the conversation we could leave the car next to the house. Have a great stay. Thank you

it was the first time that we ever used wood fired stoves for heating, and Martin was kind enough to walk us through the entire process. he is very kind and had great taste in art. he is an inspiration to us all and we would love to visit him again.

The house was good, it was well equipped. The only issue was that the refrigerator did not have a freezer, but it went well. The view was stunning. We loved the stay.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was just perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time here. The house was clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could possibly need. They even thought of everything for kids — from fun activities to safety features, it was all taken care of. The heating system was absolutely fantastic, keeping us warm and cozy the whole time. Accommodation is well equipped and everything is quickly accessible by subway. Anja is very nice and the communication is straightforward. We felt comfortable.

We had a great few days in the cottage. Everything was super clean and we visited the family from there. It is extremely quiet beautiful nature. The host, Viktor, is very kind and more than eager to meet any requests. A pleasant break through and through.

This was an outstanding stay from beginning to end. The host was exceptionally accommodating with our check-in time and arranged for a personal welcome at the property, which was greatly appreciated. They provided detailed directions and a thorough information booklet that answered virtually every question about both the home and the surrounding area. The location was ideal - situated in an upscale neighborhood with the tram stop right outside, making it convenient to reach Nuremberg's city center within minutes. The apartment itself was spectacular - clean, spacious, luxurious, and well maintained. While parking was somewhat challenging, the host's excellent communication, condition of the home, and the property's prime location more than made up for this. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone staying In Nuremberg.

Very nice place to stay, I would definitely come again. Hopefully the COVID restrictions will be lifted soon and the swim area can be used by multiple families again, it would be a great place to hang out in the evenings for some social gatherings.

We are two American couples who stayed three nights in Nürnberg. Our hosts Heidi and Herbert were so friendly, helpful and discrete that our accommodations immediately felt completely like home and this WAS really home away from home. Various food items waited for us upon arrival. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with every imaginable thing we could think of plus extra stuff. The bedroom welcomed us with fluffy bathrobes and cosy pictures on the walls. These were not just excellent accommodations but exceptional accommodations prepared for us with kindness and love. Very great and lovingly managed and thoughtful complex: four of us had the AC apartment ( enough space with a balcony, everything you need and very clean). The outdoor area is great for children and adults: natural pool ( nice and big) , playground and possibility to grill and the location on the small lake is really nice. Family Ballheim is super nice and you immediately feel welcome Thanks to Melanie!!

Everything, really everything is perfect. Very nice apartment, very well furnished, everything you need is available. The surroundings on the edge of the forest are beautiful and quiet. Can only recommend.
